Metro on Main, Mesa AZ

These apartments are nasty and run down. Management does not fix issues within a timely manner nor do they speak to you professionally.

In June 2022, I moved studio apartment, and since then, the rent has jumped from $1,120 to $1,280 without any upgrades to the unit or the shared spaces.

1. Within the first day of moving in, I encountered a roach.
2. The water supply has been consistently unreliable, yet the full water fee is still expected.
3. There seems to be a lack of enforcement when it comes to pet owners cleaning up after their animals, resulting in poop everywhere.
4. The design of the parking lot isn’t well designed, and speeding has become a common issue.
5. Unfortunately, the units are showing their age and don’t quite justify the high rental price.
6. Communal areas are suffering from various maintenance issues - malfunctioning washer/dryer units, communal doors, water/vending facilities, gates, and neglected pools.
7. The pricing structure lacks consistency, with no clear adjustment for units featuring balconies, extra doors/windows, scenery, interior designing.
8. Sound and temperature insulation is subpar, occasionally allowing for the audibility of neighbors’ activities and doesn’t help with the heat.
9. Security has been removed, leading to more people trespassing.

10. You’ll be sure to find better quality and better pricing elsewhere.

*** No matter how much rent you’re paying, there’s a consistent issue with the timeliness of work orders. Lately, I’ve experienced a minimum week-long wait for these work orders to be completed. It’s only when I take the initiative to visit the office daily and proactively inquire about their status and potential delays that Assistant Manager Adrian has to step in and get things moving.

Linda and Adrian in the front office have been so helpful, understanding, and transparent in everything regarding my lease and stay at Metro on Main. I had to break my lease due to sudden changes to my household size, and Metro on Main understood my situation and helped me transitioned into a bigger place. They allowed me to workout a payment plan to pay off what I owe for breaking my lease, and I think that is very compassionate coming from a business. All staff members (office and maintenance) have also been so helpful and quick to respond to anything I needed. These guys are awesome!

Good customer care service, but it does not feel so comfortable staying in these apartments

Do not recommend at all. Property isn't kept up properly for what they charge. There's roaches and bed bugs here too.

I have been living here for 2yrs great first apartment experience, management are go getters. Granted I struggled sometimes getting ahold of them, I had to put those issues aside because they would get all my services done if something broken in the apartment. Bug spraying is constant. Overall management and maintenance are very caring I’m sad to be leaving because other places I’ve been looking at complain about roaches, and management. Hoping I find something with as great of an experience as I had here for the past 2yrs thank you Linda and Adrian for a great experience for my first apartment

Great staff very understanding if you have a maintenance issue they will help getting it done in a timely fashion. Also do pest maintenance if you notice any bugs in apartment.

I lived here for 6 months before having to break my lease and move out of state for work. I moved to Denver where the apartment is about half the size and more expensive. For what I was paying in Arizona, this place is worth it.

It's clean and they do keep up well on landscaping, the pool is clean also. There is more than enough parking spaces in the back.

I did see a cockroach one time but they fixed that quickly, within the same day.

Linda is extremely helpful and we took care of all the paperwork with ease. If I ever move back this place will be one to consider.

People complaining on here, come down to Denver, you'll get half the size + more crime for the same rate!
