Midtown Flats Apartments, Phoenix AZ

This complex used to be nice when I moved here in 2021 but it kept getting worse and worse due to many things like they started allowing big families to move in in small studios and the maintenance here is really bad too sometimes they get in my apt uninvited, office is closed most of the time and is almost impossible to get ahold of them over the phone, a lot of Skitch’s people moved in here specifically in the studio section of the complex, entry ways looks really bad and dirty.

Absolutely love this place! Maria is the best manager I've dealt with. She's always quick to answer any questions. The maintenance team is amazing at fixing the repairs and making sure the tenants are happy and able to live comfortable! I will recommend this place to everyone I know

I haven’t moved in yet but I met with Maria, and she took the best care of me. She spent an hour and a half answering all my questions and ensuring I was set up for success in a new community. I am very excited to move in here!

Maria is the best hands she blessed with my first apartment and I am more than thankful she responds quick and makes sure her tenants are happy. Community is nice and clean I have no complaints.

I love how they care about towing vehicles and making a quick buck, than the security of the parking lot. Seen a homeless dude sleep in a hallway and had my car broken into a few months later. If you like humid and dark hiding places, like roaches, it'll be perfect for you. Fees are always fun too, well.they got plenty here! Don't worry, they have cold or lukewarm water, sometimes you'll get hot water. The constant water issues will keep you on your toes.

The whole apartment is kept in great shape and it's quite, peaceful and pleasant to be around in! Grateful for leasing from an apartment that actually takes care of their residents and property!

This place has by far the worst management I’ve ever had to deal with. You can’t get any work orders done in a timely manner and they will raise the rent when the place is falling apart. I told management I would renew my lease if they fixed all the problems with my apartment, mostly due to them doing work for water leaks…they tore out the kitchen cabinets and when put back they didn’t match up with other cabinets and doors falling off and panels on the bottom not even tacked in. So after I told management I would renew my lease if the problems got fixed they preleased the apartment to someone else so now I have to move out within a week. You would think they would save money by continuing to rent me the apartment while they fixed the issues but instead they choose to lose money while nobody is living here and they have to fix all the issues. Worst experience I’ve ever had at an apartment complex…5 years here and that means nothing to them. Oh and also when they tear out drywall for water leaks it will stay like that for 3 months or more!

LOVE living here! Great apartment layout, appliances & amenities. The management team is amazing! The manager Jennifer is both receptive & very responsive plus Bryan from maintenance is fantastic! Can’t beat the location either!

I went there with my spouse to take a tour but the office kept me and my husband waiting outside and neglected to tell us they didn't open up till 10 am. So upon waiting I decided to look around the property and it was the most filthy building I ever saw. The clientele look horrible residing their and I said the hail with this place I left. The office didn't value my time coming a little earlier and acted as if I was bothering them. So If I am a nuisance then why would I rent from a complex that's too lazy to open their door to me?

The only upside about this place is the area. I’m typing this while the water is OUT as it seems it goes out regularly along with hot water. Not to mention when something needs to be fixed or they say they’re gonna send someone up to check for something no one EVER comes, all the outlets are extremely loose and if you plug something in with a little bit of weight it will fall out. Everything here is just so extremely cheap except all the fees they make you pay like… $30 a month for parking but you can’t even park a certain way or your car will get towed like…? And god help you if your renting below a family you will hear every step, stomp, jump, cry and scream i seriously cannot wait until the day we get to break lease from this awful place i don’t even want to see a response from management to this, the months rent and every little fee we have to pay is ridiculous for the quality of everything we get.

I never received my deposit. It's almost been a year. The place smells terrible and the pipes are always leaking.

I lived on this property for 3 years and have gone through 2 owners. The area is very quiet and convenient. You have schools and churches nearby which create a sense of community. Close to major stores, restaurants, and minutes away from downtown. My unit did experience a lot of issues but was taken care of by the maintenance. The property manager Jennifer was efficient and swift about resolving issues that came up, unlike the past property managers. Overall, it was a great experience living at Midtown Flats, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live.
