Miller's Surplus reviews
54Great selection of military as well as survival equipment. Impressed with camping as well. Lots of badges and ribbons to chose from. Cool place
There was a very limited selection of overalls, and literally, only one of each size. They had what I needed, but just one.
Met WWII Veteran who was very helpful and charming. Parking wasn't a problem. Prices were very reasonable.
Big store with a good variety of items. A large selection of military surplus, workwear, camping/ survival gear. I will definitely be back
Awesome place to shop for the prepper in your family for Christmas or birthdays or for even yourself, feels safe too with wide open aisles and high ceiling, even diagonal parking makes it nice to be downtown and not have to pay for parking! Five stars all around
Man I love this store! ️You can go to Millers surplus and easily just walk around and browse for an hour. They have The best assortment of military surplus camping gear? And they have all that hard to find stuff like parachute cord webbing and all the supplies you need to fix your camping gear or customize your backpack. The staff are always super friendly and I do browse around for an hour and they let me just walk around and check everything out. I guarantee you’re going to buy something because the prices are very low the quality of merchandise is very high and everything they have is just super cool. Sometimes I find super vintage items from World War II all the way up to super modern military gear. They’ve got all that cool stuff like kerosene lamps gold mining pans great assortment of outdoor equipment? Then tons of clothing. I always say I’m gonna just stop in and look but I always end up buying stuff and rushing home and showing my wife what I found. I was able to build the ultimate survival kit with all the items I found at the store at a super cheap price. They have the best price in town on military belts! Go and support this brick and mortar store I guarantee you you will not be let down this is an awesome store and I think it is the only military surplus store left in town. My only advice.lock up your car really good and don’t leave anything in Plainview because it is located downtown you have to park on the street and if you leave anything of value in your car in Plainview you know what happens because it’s downtown. But don’t let that stop you you have to go check out the store it is amazing! Thank you Miller’s surplus for hanging in there we appreciate you and I will continue to give you my business!
Great selection and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always get my work boots here and no where else
Great selection of military, camping, work gear. My only issue is that prices are pretty high. If you're looking for that hard-to-find item though, they just may have it. A great example; have a hard time bending to tie boot laces? Check out this cool item! NO SEWING NEEDED!
Owner was working in the store, spent several minutes helping me out with items I was looking for. Super nice guy.
This is an old fashioned Army/Navy surplus store.plus much much more. Prices are very good and the selection is really something. Excellent
Staff was completely unhelpful, uninterested, they seemed inconvienienced by me asking for help. Also the confederate flags in the store were really off putting. I am an American and dont appreciate seeing flags that represent the part of the country that lost the civil war. Also many would say that flag still represents the horrors of slavery.
Not much surplus, maybe 85% of the store was branded clothing; Condor, Carhartt, ect. The rest was surplus ranging from UCP camos to some very worn vests. If you're wanting surplus this is not the place to go.
Love, love, love this place!
School shopping complete!
Love you Sweetie (most amazing cashier, she's been there a long time)!
This is a place worth visiting just for the military memorabilia but there is so much more!
Great place to find all manner of gear and gadgets. Clothing, survival gear. They have it. Place needs more parking and the cashier could cut back on the sweetie and dear stuff when im with my wife.
If you need camping gear or work clothes or a good knife or maybe a military patch or pin than this is your store. I love to browse here
I love Miller's! Best boots, clothing, and accessories for hunting, hiking, and all other outdoor activities. Been shopping at Miller's since I was a very young child. I will always shop Miller's as long as they're open!
I love this place. Me and my dad tend to go in once a week even though we don't need anything. The prices are fantastic!
The Craycroft location is closed, their downtown location is still open. Great selection of products!
Big place, huge selection of mostly new stuff. I expected more of the traditional surplus stuff like foreign military items but that section wasn't too big. If you need outdoor/workwear, though, this place surely has it and at a good price
The store is awesome! It's a surplus store combined with an outdoor shop and a work wear store. They have just about everything I could need.
