Mimi's Cafe, Chandler AZ

First time visit and waited about 30 minutes as they were very busy. It was worth the wait; yet I was puzzled by them not utilizing outdoor seating for which I would have enjoyed. I had ordered their mimosa and coffee, and the Pain Perdu - stuffed with orange marmalade and cream cheese, and covered with berries and sauce - with two eggs and sausage. The meal was delicious. Only drawback was the mimosa which seemed flat; and there were leaves attached on the strawberry. Service was fine. Not too overbearing, nor lacking. The tab came to $23.01 including tax — so it’s $$ compared to other restaurants. I’ll return to have breakfast again. May even consider lunch after viewing their menu.

The service was amazing and quick! Staff was friendly and the decor is beautiful! Food was delicious. Went for breakfast ordered the French toast stuffed with cream cheese and orange marmalade topped with fresh berries in strawberry glaze. Comes with a side of eggs and 4 pieces of bacon strips. A little on the pricey side but soo worth it. Totally recommend this restaurant!

Natasha did a great jib with our meal and service today. Can't wai to go back! Restraunt was also cared for well and clean.

I haven’t been to Mimi’s Cafe in a while but I’m glad I returned recently. I always enjoy their food and their customer service. I posted some pictures of the food we had and as you can tell it was delicious!

First time i was there i left 5 stat review. But after today i Will never get back or recommend this place to anyone.
So after waiting 20 min to get a table, the host led us to our table and gave us menus. At this point nobody said a thing about the fact my puppy was with me. Suddenly, a “karen” client decided it bothers her my puppy is with us. So to please her, the manager asked us to leave. If dogs not allowed i would expect the hosts to tell us before let us wait 20 min and before sitting us.and if dogs not allowed why giving us a table and menus? (i have a 10lb puppy) We left ashamed and the “karen” was happy and pleased! Hope all the karens keep comin to this old dusty place!

I had the 5-grilled cheese sandwich, with a side of tomato soup and it was absolutely delicious. They have $5 mimosa’s on Saturday for brunch. The server, host, and food runner/manager were all friendly and attentive. There was a wait because it’s a Saturday morning, and the wait time was accurate. Food came out super fast and cooked perfectly. (My friend had the French toast with berries).

Food not good for the price. Our waiter served another couple who came in after us first. Even the staff was not friendly.

Came to Mimis because I loved their pot roast. The quality had definitely changed. Au gratin potatoes tasted like a plain potato casserole with sprinkled cheese on top. Sadly will not be returning. The waiter was the only good part of the night. He was friendly and did his best to assist.

Really good service! The food is really good too and the restaurant is very clean. They don’t accept the free entree coupons here anymore though.

Initially we were going to eat outside (social distance) until we walked out onto the patio. Too noisy facing Chandler Blvd. We were seated in a quiet booth and had great service.

The ambiance and food was good. Would give it 5 stars but the Hollandaise Sauce was not the star of my Conventional Benedict. Without the citrus flavor, I couldn't discern it from the perfect yolk.

The food was ok. They used cheap bacon, which is a sore spot for me. It was the McDonald's bacon, which Australia calls 'streaky' bacon. Not great.
I had the chicken n waffles. No seasoning, bland and the breading was bread crumbs.
Nope!
My wife got the egg whites with feta and spinach. That was not bad. I had a bite and it was better than mine. I think for the price, wasn't very impressed and the service was slow.friendly and correct, but slow.
I don't think I will be going back to give them my money.

Very good food. A different take on a family restaurant. Nice how the menu varies over time. Quiet place to have a nice lunch.

Terrible service, unprofessional staff and management. Super impolite manner. The The Coffee sucks as well as the food. Never going back. The inside is so dark and the seats are so close to each other and they don't let you use the outside seating despite pandemic. They also scrutinize the amount of food you order. LOL.

Left Hash Kitchen due to hour long wait and I'm so glad we did. Got seated after a short wait and the seating was well within Covid guidelines Breakfast was delicious. Try the stuffed French toast!

I eat out in restaurants almost daily because of my job. I used to be a regular customer of mimi's but when they sold the menu changed and I quit going there to eat. It has been about 5 years since I have eaten at mimi's. My wife wanted to try something new so we came to mimi's to eat lunch. The food was very good had the Cobb salad service was excellent staff eas very friendly. The only problem I see is the food is over priced when you compare what you get for price paid. In my opinion the menu is 10% to high. A good example of this is ice tea is 3.29 at mimi's where the same glass of ice tea is on average 2.79 over all the experience was good.

The service was good and I have absolutely no complaints about it. The food and presentation of the food however was disappointing. I ordered the menu's pain perdu and recieved french toast which is not the same thing, the sausage was overcooked and my eggs were undercooked and nothing was plated in an appetizing way.
