It costs $5 to get in to the arcade.and the store is empty. No one is going to pay $5 just to get in to the arcade. Me and my frends used to go here all the time. But today I walked in.saw the $5 admission. I left.and I will never go back.

What time is best to go when the private rooms are available? Trans woman here looking to play.

Back in day when I was at ASU it was the best place to go after the bars closed. I meet my BF there. He was the person working behind the counter at the time. He showed me what the toys can do and that's where I experimented and thanks to that Modern World store and its owner Todd I was glad to meet my BF at the the time.

The employees are drug addicts which makes the clientele (of addicts) feel comfortable.

There have been efforts to have this place put out of business and if you call Tempe PD with anything you witness they'll add it to the investigation.

We deserve better as a community

So this place is great with their variety of selections to buy. I personally dont like the very closed off hidden look of the place, but for better privacy this is the place someone might prefer. As for the arcade I did not entered because I was more in the search of buying items. For those with a more adventurous life style or wish for some individual fun I say try it out.

Went there to check out the arcade. It was awesome! Where have you been hiding ;) Just like back in the day. Black rooms with the glow of the video screen. I liked the music playing, made it better. I am going back on the weekend. I've checked out just about every adult arcade in the valley. This is a winner if ya wanna get freaky or just chill. Definitely worth the check out!

Well living in America is like living under a microscope. Judgment, labels, hypocrisy, and not being.able to be yourself. If you dont like it or never ever been there or can not say anything nice then dont go at all. All the hypocrites and 2faced folks need no go here to have a good time. There's more then one of these in America you'll find one the suites you. For me?
Well i think this place is cool. I dnt care much for the addicts or the dudes dressed in ladies clothes but what the heck.nobody is perfect. If you think you are? You! Definitly are odd. Thanks Modern World appreciate bringing the freak out of me.

A wee bit Raunchy adds 2 the excitement it's in a perfect local next 2 a little bar parking behind the Blonde lady was very attractive just added more mystic 2 the place this Ole Cowboy has found a new haunt when I'm feeling frisky lol

Sleazy little dive that has toys for sale up front and an arcade with booths in the back. The booths have full doors on them that lock, so you can watch your porn in private, or leave the door unlocked if you like to have people watch. I've been several times and have had some fun there… Location is ok with semi private parking in back. Its next to a bar restaurant that can act as a lube spot (Cocktails) if you wanted to bring your wife to a dirty porn store.

I was suppose to meet up with a girl from back page at this place and next thing I know a transsexual is coming to my truck. I politely declined and left as quickly as possible.

Decent selection for a small store. Though, the cashier behind the counter seemed like a tweaked out dick. So I wouldn't recommend the store for that reason now.

Extremely uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I'd recommend fascinations or the white cattle, they have a bigger variety and more experienced staff.

I like to peveiw a store and look online before shopping.there web pape will not let you look.it has buttons for site.dont work.makes me wounder what other coners are they cutting.i wont spend my money there.

Very clean and the clerk was very helpful and attendant while letting us browse without feeling like our space was being invaded or that we were being watched. I'm honestly not sure what all the poor reviews are about because the shop was lit, it didn't feel "shady" or "sketchy". Its an adult store, not the opera. Get over yourselves.
