Mohave RV, Fort Mohave AZ

My wife & I live in our 5th wheel fulltime as my wife is a travel ER nurse. We dropped our 5th wheel off a few months ago to have a number of things repaired. One of which was a slideout among a few other things including our furnace. They reported to us they'd need to keep the 5th wheel 6-8 weeks due to parts (specifically the carpet of the slideout) needing to be ordered etc. & then repair time. The reason for the 2 stars is that they told us that the furnace is working fine and no repairs were done to it. As of right now it still does not work (it blows cold air then shuts completely off) and continues to have the same reported to them symptoms. Tonight its quite chilly and we don't have a properly working furnace. They told us they'd need 6-8 weeks as they were specifically waiting on the carpet for the slidout. I'm unsure really why they needed that amount of time as they put the same carpet back in, the same carpet stains are still there in the "new" carpet. The carpet was not replaced and we were charged for different carpet as well. They kept our 5th wheel beyond the estimated 6-8 weeks. As mentioned we live in it fulltime as my wife is a travel nurse. We most certainly were expecting to have to make alternate living arrangements while it was being repaired just not for that length of time.
However, the other easier repairs (ceiling fan replacements) that were done were done well.

We had a gas leak in our Rental RV on our way to Grand Canyon. Being complete newbies to the RV world this has been quite a bad surprise. The Team at Mohave RV has been very nice, helped us on the phone to identify the Type of Regulator we would need, and had it in Stock. They made time for us to stop by half an hour later, fixed the regulator and were completely OK with sending the invoice to the rental company.

A special service is the local care-dog, asking to be pet while waiting. Very good for increasing the mood in such moments.

Ok so i see most people rave about these people, but i have to tell you i am not impressed at all. Here is the kicker, i have never spoken to anyone who owns it or works there. I called them 2 weeks ago and left a message. A week later, nothing. So i sent them an email. A week later, nothing. I realize it's snowbird season, but holy smokes Batman WTH. I guess they are so busy that they don't need my business. Hey Mojave Rv.thanks for nothing, no really.nothing!

As usual, Dan gave me some excellent advice regarding my solar charging system.
Don't know what I'd do without him.
And the back up camera is now working properly.

The only reason I gave 4 stars is because there is no public bathroom and no coffee offered. The staff were very nice and easy to work with including the tech that worked on my rv. I will definitely refer them and will return if/when orher repairs are needed.

Had another shop here in Kingman work on my coach they put a brand new inverter in and was supposed to work on the generator exhaust got the coach back drove five miles from their shop to my house the inverter did not work it did the same as when I took it in and the exhaust still leaked all they did was put a muffler clamp on when I told them that the exhaust was leaking up towards the manifold confronted the owner he said he checked out everything personally and that everything was working when it left the shop so called Mojave RV brought it to them they had everything fixed within a week. The inverter settings weren't set right kind of nice when they ask you when you want your coach and not tell you oh we'll get to it when we get to it and you're not our only customer that was at Trotter's RV the counter staff and the technicians at Mojave are awesome you actually get weekly updates and Friendly Smiles and not lied to like Trotters

Had a problem with a/c on fifth wheel. I called them and they had no available technicians. They took the time and walked me through a couple of possible issues and got my a/c running. You guys and ladies are awesome people. Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.

Not too happy with these people. Had them fix a few things on our motorhome including the electric toilet. First time using it after we got it back the water would not shut off and kept flowing and flowing. Had to cut a wire to stop it. Called this company regarding the issue and their attitude is like "oh well, must have been a bad part". Basically said it was not their problem. Word to the wise.use caution.

Took our RV in 2 weeks ago.said they would CK on parts and call with an estimate in day or 2. No call back. In mean time had to clean carpet for grease tracked from ft rm to bedroom. Mask on ft of coach had 2 snaps ripped off. What a rip off. Very unprofessional and customer service is non-existent. I had cked reviews but failed to note. That the better ones were buyers of RVs. Not service. Beware Also chg us 258.00 to this result

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS IF YOU'RE FROM OUT OF TOWN! Couldn't repair my fridge. But, did the City Water line. Took it out for the first time and. The line they used is faulty, my rigg is full of water, and I have to have to repaired again. They charged me $300 for this privilege. On top of that they removed all of my RV paperwork then lost it. I'm out money and my RV owners manual. Keep it all for 25 years but 3 days with them (to repair a waterline) is terrible. Front desk staff VERY UNFRIENDLY, RUDE, SUPERIOR, and NOT helpful. Go ANYWHERE else for your service. RIP OFF. SUBSTANDARD Parts.

Had problems with our black tank not draining and full. They took RV in and got it working. And because we live in our RV full time, they got it back to us same day. Understanding, friendly, and know there stuff. Thanks to the whole team there

Very unhappy with being taken advantage of, paying >8X over normal retail for a part. The reason i'm not leaving a one star review is because I take half the responsibility for allowing myself to be ripped off. I should have just dealt with the inconvenience of not having that part.

Called to see if they stock MPP controllers off the shelf they said no they do not and I said thank you

Hadn't been here before and very pleased with their selection. Purchased stabilizer jacks, were husky brand (2 fer) and were better then jacks equipped on my trailer. They have all kinds of things there for your RV.
