4Very disturbing! One of their residents has a little chihuahua that gets left outside all day crying to come in. I walked over and complained to the staff but nothing has changed! So today being 115 degrees outside, with an excessive heat warning in effect! I decided to walk over and check on the little guys situation. Well the poor pup was outside lying in his own urine and feces on the hot concrete patio with little shade and an empty bowl in front of him. I took pictures! I am disgusted that they would even allow this in humans behavior! I can’t believe that no one cares…not even the staff. If it doesn’t change immediately. I will be forced to contact authorities!
MY DAD WAS THEIR FOR 5 MONTHS AND WE MOVED HIM.
HOME IS FILTHY DIRTY. AND THE CARE GIVERS DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR RESIDENCES, VERY NEGLECT FULL, NON CARING, THEY DONT SPEEK ENGLISH, ITS VERY CONFUSING FOR THE RESIDENCE.
Amazing facility, great pricing, we were looking for a place my mother and we visited many places around town and in Oro Valley, but none had what my mother needed until google showed us mom and dad place, we setup an tour of two different house around the area we needed and eventually decided on the Houghton area house, amazing view of the mountains, not sure which one it is, but its amazing view during the fall season, we we visited the area it had snow- JUST AMAZING!
Mom and Dad Place couldn't have been more relevant, helpful and nice in recommending the service needed and one of their independent living facility for our uncle who's 74 and needs a little extra care but is still very active.
Looking for just the right place can be overwhelming and time consuming, and they removed confusion, saved us time and pointed the way for the right place and location in town that fit his lifestyle and budget.
My only "criticism" (and it's really not) is that I asked for emails only - no phone calls - and got calls regarding updates, etc, I might be my fault as I completely forgot to list my email, since then they updated my record and get emails.
