Food and service are great. They don't accept payment via phone payment processes and act confused when asked.

This place is a little outdated. I’m a server myself, and the service was not great. The steak was decent. The monster lobster tail, which is the biggest and most expensive on the menu was rubbery. The servers are friendly but service needs to be improved. Highly expensive even for happy hour drinks.

Two steak and lobster dinners with two happy hour drinks, a corona and an appetizer will cost you over $400

Our reservation was for 5: 15 pm, and we were seated immediately.
Our server was attentive for the entire meal.
The food was good, but not the best that I have had there.

We frequent this steak house almost every time I am I'm town and we will be back.

I loved the food. Their mashed potatoes came EXACTLY how I like them (with some peel mixed in) and the service was almost perfect!

This ended up being just…an okay meal for my family. One steak came out perfectly, the other was a split portion and one side of the steak was great while the other was all fat and gristle… the bread tasted really weird, the lasagna soup was sort of bland… the rice pilaf was also bland, and my mushrooms in the chicken dish I ordered tasted like they were probably not fresh and maybe canned or something, I don’t know. There were a lot of problems for a $140 meal, that’s for sure. The waitress was very kind and did her job well…we would have mentioned something about the steak and I’m sure they would have done something about it, but for all the rest…it just didn’t taste good… the place seems popular and has been around forever, so maybe it’s just us.

Salads are great! One person got clam chowder and really liked it. Service can be spotty, need to check on tables more often. I don't recommend the sea bass. Thin, overcooked with a really weird sweet tasting sauce.

Nice sever, BUT steaks were not good. Too much fat, salty mashed potatoes. And that bread was disgusting. Not worth

We had a great meal. Awsome service. Was quiet because the winter season is slowing down.and it was mid week. Would recommend Montana Steak House for sure!

Came here after a long day of driving with my kids and dogs in the car. Menu is a bit pricey at first glance but I saw some of the portions other diners had and they were huge. Our waitress mentioned the special which was steak chunks for $1 ea. I expected these to be tiny leftovers at that price but figured whatever I just want some meat after gas station food all day. So I ordered 10 of them and omg they were huge and sooooo juicy. I couldn't even finish them all so my pups got the last few but every single bite was amazing. I didn't find one but if gristle and the fat was really thin. These were pure solid meat. It was sooooo good. Definitely going here again next year when I take the fam out again.

Waiter was wonderful. The steak was terrible. Never had a bad steak here ever. Prime rib had a ton of fat. Really went downhill from the last time I was here. Very disappointed.

This place should not call themselves a steak house! Where do I begin? First, we received our bread and it was so oily and tasted old. No one at our large party ate the bread—some even spit it out on their plate. The steaks cuts were not well select cuts, not cooked as asked, and the mashed potatoes were downright disgusting. They were the consistency of thin oatmeal with a heaping of butter literally floating above the potatoes in a cup. Afterwards, even the waitress apologized about them and stated they were at the bottom of the pot. Why would the cooks or waitress let this type food be served? Do the cooks not taste their own food? For the money people pay to eat, this is ridiculous. I gave them 2 chances and I will NEVER go here again.

Three of us had ribeye they are amazing the best in town. One had the new york loved it. Drinks were amazing! Cheese cake with huckleberry sauce yummmm! The server Jill is attentive and fun!

Shady business! We went to this establishment with a group of people. We did enjoy our food, HOWEVER we had split the bill up three ways. Unfortunately, the server charged my card twice instead of the other party. When this was realized, we contacted Montana steakhouse to resolve the issue. They basically said it was out fault for not noticing at the time our card was used twice. Let me ask you, when you go to an event do you check everyone's receipts to ensure you were not double charged? The clear answer is NO. We were told to take it up with the bank or have the other people in the party reimburse us. Sadly we are not familiar with the other people in our party as we had just met and no longer in contact with. We were told to contact our bank to have this resolved. The bank will not do anything because it is out of the approved window. We have the original receipts signed and clearly show different handwriting and signatures. Montana Steakhouse will not do their due diligence in making this situation right. THEY made the mistake and we are LITERALLY paying for it. BEWARE when eating here, they like to overcharge and make mistakes on bills and do not care to make the situation right!

Got the ribeye with loaded baked potato, everything was delicious. The service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommended.

My wife and I decided to go Montana Steakhouse for dinner Saturday night. We came without any idea what we wanted except one thing. We wanted the calamari steak for an appetizer. It was excellent. I didn't expect to see the owner running the floor. That was extremely pleasing to see. And to see the owner taking to responding for each comment shows me the commitment to the brand. My wife's seafood saute was excellent I was given a couple of bites and was surprised to get a bite of salmon and what I think was seabass or halibut whichever the taste was spot on for what I expected. My top sirloin was cooked perfectly. I noticed comments about overseasoning on steaks and no seasoning on steaks. All a steak needs from a steakhouse is a brushing of melted butter and a pinch of salt that is all. Your there to taste steak not seasonings. Just my opinion. Again well done to the owner. WELL TAKEN CARE OF BUSINESS.

P. S. As a former employee of the previous owner. I'm glad that the restaurant has the same feel when you walk in brought back a lot of memories of my ten years working there as a teen and young adult.
