7This hotel is actually run by the racist Ortega family, who have a long history of grave robbing and recently, the Junior of Gilbert Ortega galleries in Scottsdale. Look him up and the latest drunken spectacle he made of himself belittling native people filming a commercial for ESPN.
Every single room has a great view. It is not a very handicap friendly place. There are no ramps for the sidewalks and only 1 elevator plus no automatic doors to get to the restaurant area.
Fantastic view from a really nice patio / platform outside the visitor center. You can walk around much of the building on exterior patios (accessible from either the visitor center or restaurant) and experience different angels of the magnificent view.
Wer es schafft zum Sonnenaufgang hier zu sein sollte es sich nicht entgehen lassen. Aber auch sonst definitiv sehenswert.
Skip this and stick to the free views on the highway. Yes it’s a classic view but the crass commercialism of the Navajo tribe here is very annoying! $20 admission charge but they close the scenic drive at 4: 30 for no good reason but won’t reduce the entry fee after they close the whole reason for going. Stay on the highway and enjoy the incredible views along it, this side trip is not worth the price, doubly so if the scenic drive is closed.
Must be stop by one of American back yard view.
Get the permit and go to science drive. Few view points is amazing.
Fairly unique site. Would highly recommend. Note that the red dust here is very fine and you'll probably need to wash your car afterwards.
