Stopped accepting packages (a major perk of me choosing this apartment complex) and now won’t install lockers.

I’ve lived here for three years and for the most part it’s been wonderful! I enjoy the convenience of having a washer & dryer in my apartment. I appreciate the large closets & patio storage. Maintenance personnel always resolve any issues quickly - even changing light bulbs! I also appreciate the convenience of paying my rent online*** I am handicapped & office rep just made me walk to office to put me on pest control list. I explained I cannot move furniture & asked for help. She said they couldn’t. I explained I can’t partake of amenities, like breakfast, because it’s in the back of the complex. What advantages do I have here? They don’t even have a handicapped access in front of my apartment even though I have provided doctor documentation & have been requesting it for 3 years!

Motif has done a great job of helping my family feel welcomed in the state of Arizona. Breakfast in the cafe has been a fun addition. The office staff are understanding and informative.

Catie is amazing! During a very difficult time for my family and I she was very help. She answered all of our questions promptly and professionally and went above and beyond what was asked of her. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone searching for a place to call home.

We needed to move asap so we decided to give this place a try. We talked to Anthony who was super helpful and walked us through not only our options but the process and information we'd need as well. Thanks to him we were able to fill out the applications and submit them the same day we went in. Thanks Anthony!

Moved in a few weeks ago. Leasing office staff was nice especially Anthony. Maintenence is pretty quick to respond the first time you ask. They are friendly and helpful. Pools are clean. Neighborhood noise is low. Feel safe in this complex, it's not on a super busy part of cactus with lots of foot traffic so I haven't seen any homeless type people walk. Rent is pretty reasonable for what you get like a washer and dryer. Neighbors have been nice. Taking away one star for the ridiculously small parking space. Three, four point turn to get in your space if a car is next to your space because your avoiding a metal post on the other side. Just wish there was a way for them to redo the whole parking lot to make parking easier.

Good place to live, maintenance was awesome! One of the managers Catie is great and really worked with us our whole stay here. Highly recommended these apartment homes.

Came in June 29th, 2019 to sign a lease agreement. I was not particularly impressed with the service that I did receive there. I waited an entire month to get this apartment back in May. I was told that it would be ready on June 26th. I came and called in to see if it was available to look at. I was told no it was not ready to be shown yet. So I waited. On Friday the 28th I was going to get keys and sign the lease, except I was not able to make it out of work before the office closed. When I called the office it took me to a call center, anyway, I called to let them know that I wouldn’t be able to make it. They took a message and told me that Motif would call me back, In which I got nothing returned. Upon arriving to Motif my parents were there before I had arrived at 230pm. I was told that they were finishing up my file, so we waited in the lobby for about 30-40 mins. Then I was told that I would be charged $50 for changing the lease date from 28th to 29th, which was not my fault. Then I felt rushed to sign the lease and welcome home letter the entire time that i was there. I said how am I suppose to sign the lease before even seeing the apartment? Anthony was nice and pleasant, when we got to 1376 the key that was obtained was not the correct key for the apt. He called maintenance to come open the door because the key wasn’t the right one. So we stood outside in the heat, while he drilled the lock out of the door. When we entered we noticed that several things were not done, when we told it would be move-in ready. In the bedroom I noticed that there had been a pvc pipe that was sticking out over the sink but in direct line with the bathroom light below. That is not up to par with being safe nor any fire code, and can turn into a huge hazard if caught on fire. Kitchen cabinet in bottom was a hole in the bottom as if it were chewed through. Patio door lock mechanism one side of it was broken, dry wall patch work in the bathroom and kitchen ceiling had more patch work. The bedroom walk-in closet both rods were loose. Several of the doors frames were in bad shape. Behind the toilet was a good sized cut that protruded up through the flooring. Two of the ceiling vents had broken arms inside of it. Front door had good sized lock that was removed but left good imprint. We did not get a chance to look at the storage in the patio being it had the same lock as front door. As a first time renter I didnt feel comfortable signing a lease when the apt wasn’t ready to move into. My parking spot was 3 or 4 building away from my apt not really near my apt. I feel rather rushed through the entire process in having me sign the lease. I was charged fee after fee even though I haven’t signed the lease nor even moved in to a unit.my all my move in fees paid besides the fact of admin fees which I already paid $205. By the time 5 o’clock arrived I wasn’t very happy and was mentally exhausted from what all happened. I was looking forward to moving and living there but this situation has made me not have a good experience with your property and has made me turn else where for housing. This experience has been nothing but a stressful upsetting time in which I can not give out a good recommendation for several people I know that are looking for housing as well.

Great place to live, amazing management, ran into a few problems throughout my lease and couldn’t have gotten through without CATIE CRANNY, best manager I’ve ever had at any apartment hands down. Definitely a 5 star apt.

Rent is way too high. Apartments are old and falling apart. Tweakers and homeless all over the area looking for anything to steal. Roaches dont even pay a share of the rent. The owners of this property are rich and would not live in these conditions.

Would be 3 stars but management and office staff are the worst. They'll pay off residents with gift cards for ratings; unlawfully use handicap parking to quickly get supplies and simply can't manage a package room (best of lucky receiving anything not amazon (ex. Usps, FedEx). Nothing is enforced: parking, dogs on leases, removal of fire extinguisher.
Hardly see security, there was no guard for a month; due to company change. Onsite laundry mats were pulled, no notice. Plenty notice of water shut off and no hot water.
Play area for kids is dismal; took four months for a hoop rim replacement. Pools are tiny, no parking on weekends. Overall a 3 for maintenance and landscapers, but a 2 for office staff and the complex feeling like an off campus housing.

We have participated in the holiday events for Maria over the past number of years. It's always been fun. Her events generate a lot of interest and attendance. The entire staff is always very pleasant and works together to make the holiday event that we partake in a success. We look forward to being a part of it every year. Motif apartments is a very pleasant community to be a part of.

This is my second time living at Motif. I lived here in 2017 and had such a great experience that when my lease was up at the beginning of 2019 at another complex I chose to look back into Motif. I've lived here since March and I have gotten the same service as I did in 2017. Remarkable response time from all departments. I don't believe in a perfect situation and things have occurred that I needed assistance on and all that matters to me is that is was addressed promptly with a kind attitude and no BS excuses for things. Doesn't matter how much I call or inquiry its always a pleasant experience with the staff no matter who I talk to. The staff they currently have all rock though i do miss the 2017 staff too. Weidner is all about the residents because I have also lived on another Weidner property any they hold the same service expectations across the board. They were so caring that when I lost my cat they sent an immediate blast to the community within hours my princess was home safe and sound, Jeanie was so supportive as i cried my eyes out about my furbaby. Big shout outs to my Move-in guy Anthony, the Morning Cafe/Activity Coordinator Anias who has rocked at brightening my morning coffee, and my three maintenance helpers Juan, Anthony and Jesus.who all respond in prompt fashion have had to listen to me be full of questions on all sorts of stuff in my apartment and not once made me feel like my apartment requests were over the top.
Ive lived in alot of apartments and I believe you will never get 100% but I sure can say they do the best at Weidner and Motif to make this more then an apartment complex they want to make it a community your happy to call home.

Lovely community. The one bedroom is so roomy. The staff in the office is great. They really do care of you! The also have so many events it’s super cool! Maintenance also goes above and beyond to ensure your apartment is great. I even got my friend to lease here and we both love it!

Property Management and Maintence Team are always proactive to make sure the pools are maintained and equipment is up to par.

Everything is great. Just the parking is not so great. Even assigned parking is small. Not great for big vehichles. Breakfast is okay. Its from 6: 30-8: 30. They do amazing events and have something every thursday. You get to rent movies from office free. You even have a gym. They are a bit pricey. I pay about $900 for a one bed one bath.

Great apartments. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Also a huge fan of the pool. Would highly recommend to anyone.
