Mountain View Park Horseshoes Court reviews
2Although there is only one court it is very good. It is similar to horseshoe areas I have seen in other states. After visiting many local city parks with horseshoes I don't recall seeing a single one in use in Central AZ. There is plenty of parking and four handicapped spaces. The park has a playground, drinking fountain, limited shade trees, not much in the way of seating, a single sand volleyball court and a four rim basketball court. Park is clean and maintained. The soccer field uses irrigation.
Not too bad. The court area was nicely mowed and it has two fence structures facing each other with the inside on the structure covered in dirt. Not as big as other horseshoes courts I've seen but it had a nice view of the playground and was far enough away from the basketball court so you didn't have to deal with balls flying your way.
It's not labeled with any signage. If you are looking to find this court, just walk past the playground and right by the basketball court, you will see the horseshoes court.:)
