MVP Kids Care, Avondale AZ

Very good experience quick service and the doctor, whom I'll call dr. B was very patient and communicated with my 17 year old son very well. I believe that is beacause dr. B said his specialty is sports med and my son is an athlete.

This place has a serious issue with time management, people im sitting in the waiting room with are 40min to an hour after their appt. I myself work at a medical office and idk what goes in behind close doors hear but this is not how we handle our patients. This office is not patient focused.

Gave wrong medical advice, allows un-vaccinated kids in. Never saw the doctor when there was an issue just nurses. Don't waste your money.

Absolutely love coming here! The staff is wonderful and very kind, even with a screaming child LOL. Dr. Wells personally called me regarding a very scary unexpected situation with my child and also followed up personally when we had already been referred to a specialist. This says a lot about his passion for treating children and exceptional patient care. I recommend this office and any of his others for ALL pediatric patients. Thank you guys for being so wonderful!

️DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABIES TO THIS CLINIC️ I took my 2 month old baby to get her ears pierced and I was devastated in the way they handled the situation. Dr. Shulski did not take the time to measure or mark the ear for the poke. Dr. Shulski was extremely rough and felt no compassion for my daughter. Dr. Shulski pierced her left ear twice and on other ear piercing being so uneven it almost was close to the inside of her ear. His excuse was that the piercings would eventually even out. When Complaining to the office manager Andrea Was very unprofessional she had the audacity to compare the situation to a bad restaurant meal. This office is unprofessional all the way around. Starting from the front office to the back! You are better off taking your daughter to Walmart!

I was very impressed with my experience today at MVP Kids Care. My son was running a fever for three days and I called promptly at 7AM when they opened and they were able to see me by 8AM without being a former patient. The entrance offered a sick entrance and a well entrance which I liked. The nurse was friendly and the Dr was prompt and listened to my concerns and gave advise accordingly.

If you want to be treated like you or your kid dont matter then come here because they like to hang up on you and then when you show up for your appointment they play games and push you appoint back and take new people before you. They just have the worst nurses I have ever seen

I LOVE DOCTOR YVONNE GRASSL! I just don’t understand why the staff is so unprofessional and when ever I called they leave me on hold for 15min or more and when putting me on a hold they don’t even let me response back. Please fix! This location is the closest to me and I would hate to have relocate for unprofessional staff.

Definitely looking into a new place to go. Customer service is lacking! Hold times and waiting for calls back is ridiculous! Shouldn’t take 3 hours plus for a call back.

We have been going for years this latest occasion my son needed his prescription and it was sent to wrong place four different times. My wife went to office frustrated the staff is incompetent and we’re rude. You can’t put trust in the care of your kids at this facility they lose lab and paperwork.

My son sees Dr. Patton. Always in a good mood and great with my son! The decor is cute and love the colors. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is sometimes they take a long time to answer the phone and staff could be more friendlier and make people feel more welcomed

I have never spoken to someone so unprofessional. I called to schedule a new patient well check for both my kids today trying to see when was the soonest. The girl in the front office sounded so unenthusiastic letting me know oh well we don’t have any openings until Mid may end of may. I asked again when is the soonest”ummm we are fully booked until the ends of may. Okay again when is the soonest “oh until may 31st and then you have to schedule the other child another day. WHAT! You have to be kidding me she spoke to me as if it bugged her I was trying to make a appointment.on top of that this office does nothing for autistic kids? Seriously couldn’t even knowledge the fact that I’m trying to have my son transferred into this office and they just chased me away due to a unpleasant call with a uneducated front office girl. Hear the call on Friday April 20 at 2: 17 who ever she is fire her! Find my enthusiastic workers! You work in a environment with kids!

My four children have been patients of MVP Kids Care since 2010 and have never had issues some of these other people commented about. In the past few years they have added Follow My Health and it is a life saver. I can easily request appointments, send messages to my doctor and view past visit summaries and immunizations. I can update my personal and insurance information prior to my visit to speed up the check-in process.

I go to the Avondale location and although there may be an employee or two over the years that isn't as pleasant as the other I never hold it against the practice. I myself have worked in the medical field for over 10 years and understand that a couple bad apples can harm an imagine, but it should not be held against the entire practice. Those employees normally do not last very long either-way.

My children see Dr. Holmgren and Dr. Broome and I will tell you that I have always felt that my concerns were heard and taken care of. Dr. Holmgren in fact is on the board of pediatricians at Banner Estrella Medical Center and Phoenix Children's Hospital so I am confident in her knowledge.

The hold times when scheduling an appointment are no worse or better than other offices. The longest I have had to wait on hold was about 5 mins, but I could have easily chose to use the Follow My Health if this was an issue for me.

I also appreciate the nurses who call me back the same day when I call in for a questions or prescription re-fill.

I have never been to the Maryvale or Laveen location so I can not comment on those offices, but the Avondale office is clean, there is always parking and the area feels safe.

I have recommended this practice to friends and family and I would recommend to others looking for pediatrician as well.
