Nana's Place, Glendale AZ

If I could give a zero I'd give a zero. My son went here years ago kids have off schedule sometimes and their sleep schedule will get messed up. One time he slept too long and they said I had to leave work to come pick him up because of that. I watched an employee that was in the same room as my son take her son and whipping by the arm and swing him across the room and I told the front office and there was cameras too and they said Ohio she wouldn't do that. My son had dirt all over him multiple times when I'd pick him up from playing outside. There was dirt and his food and rotten milk sitting in the bottles a few times.

Called today to see about my son getting childcare for the weekend and the first time I called the lady I spoke to was very kind and asked me to call back at 3: 30pm when the owner ty came in called back and a rude lady got on the phone and when I asked her about child care she was very dismissive and rude I have decided not to take my son here because it was really awful first impression

I have to say first hand that me and my boys love NANAs place. Great care, flexible and truly caring. They treat my boys like their own and all the kids for that matter. They do have negative reviews. Haters that's all I'm going to say about the negative stuff. It's lies they really are amazing.

My husband and I went on a tour of the school, wow I wouldn’t call this a school or a daycare. The front “manager” office lady was sooo rude don’t know how she has a job or how they get any sort of business. Then this “daycare” seriously looked like a concentration camp or something. Then we’re walking through and remind you these people don’t know us these little girls are peeing an there’s no doors for privacy an sorry but I wouldn’t want know people i don’t know looking in on my babygirl. Then there sleeping and the one little baby is sleeping with a play boy bunny blanket really classy and it smelled so bad in there. This place really does need shut down! Hopefully this is an eye opener for parents that take their babies there you can’t be this desperate to leave your babies in the hands on these people. I cried after I left. So sad I couldn’t believe my eyes!

It is kind of funny how a daycare would call another daycare to tell them that you should not be accepted because your 3 years old daughter is not potty trained and you did not to tell them you were leaving their daycare. First of all i did went there made a my last payment and told them that my children are not longer coming there. Please do me a favor and save your self from troubles, dont take children there. There are alot of 24 hrs daycare and need help finding one let me know. It is okay Nana place on 43th and Peoria i dont need your daycare and i have one plus go away listen to them if you want to. You dont know the story so you lost money by agreeing to their point of view. Thanks God my children are relief from this horrible place.

I think this day care was great over all and they staff there were super nice and the owner even let me pay less then I was supposed to cuz my money problems but a four because my kids thought they day care pretty boring and my two older ones could not fit on anything on the play ground except the swings plz fix that TY!

They really need to invest in some cleaning supplies and better staff, horrible attitudes all around! The big kids have access to the smaller kids which has cause some to sustain injuries. I would never recommend!

My children attended daycare here. I just pulled them out today. If I could post pictures of the bruises on my son's face I would. They have proved on multiple occasions to be negligent but yesterday did me in. I had to file a police report. My son looks like he was beat. They told me he was bit by another child and fed me 2 different stories and no one even saw it happen. And when it came time for then to sign an "ouch report" none of the staff would sign for reaponsibility. Stand up work guys.

Don't waste your time, wouldn't give them one star! The "director" had a terrible attitude. I wouldn't feel my child would be safe in such care, the place was filthy and smelled. They need the fifty dollar enrollment fee to buy proper products cleaning supplies, working fax machine and invest a little more attention to customer service this place gets two thumbs down.

I'm saddened that I had to give this place two stars because I want to support black owned and/or ran businesses and I really would like to support Nana's Place but I just couldn't keep my son there the attitudes when talking to some not all but some of the employees were just rude and nasty. I'd prefer for my son to listen to kid friendly music during his nap not "sza - The Weekend". The chick with the dreads in the late evening is super cool and very professional.

Don't bring your kids here. As I former employee I can atest that laws are being broken every day and as for the Ring Leader of the circus, her attitude sucks. Shes been doing this too long.

This place needs to be shut down there is no security for your child anybody can walk in and take them front Gates left wide open front door left wide open anybody can go into the facility I was standing in the front where the reception is supposed to be at for a half hour before they even notice that I was there this place smells of pee no background checks on the workers the worker that I talked to was high as a kite come to find out Bree and DJ are the owner's son and daughter they should take better care of their place of business clean it thoroughly they leave dirty chonies and the Cubbies to breed bacteria the owner Miss Tess she should be ashamed of yourself for even having this establishment open it doesn't take a long time to clean if the kids are sick don't accept them at the daycare all she's worried about is collecting money very rude very disrespectful the only one good thing is that she has cameras covering every square foot of that Daycare but what good is that if they don't have somebody monitor them Miss Tess I hope you read this and it eats at your heart and you decide to change this facility for the better not only for your financial well-being but for all those children lives that you put at risk with no safety with bacterial infections also change your attitude towards your clients remember they are the ones that are paying your bills and putting money in your pocket it's your duty to serve the people and from what I understand you've been in the business long enough to know that twenty-plus years right if you need help understanding what you need to change by all means contact me we'll set up a meeting and I'll tell you how you need to run that place starting with background checks for all your workers and cleanliness your other daycares aren't ran like this why is this one swallow your pride and fix what needs to be fixed

My name is angel hernandez i called dcs child abuse hotline because i left my child there on a referal for free daycare for a year my baby was congested i requested they prop her up so she could breath better they said they would and would let the next shift know when i went to pick her up after work she was flat on her back struggling to breath on top of that the room smelled heavy with bleach to where it hurt my stomach, i work at the city dump seperating trash and other disgusting things of a conveyer belt so my stomach is stonger than the average persons i told the lady at the front desk and she said it did not smell like bleach to her on my way home the baby started to cry so i pulled over and held her she lifted her and startex bobbing her head like she was going to faint in my arms i called 911 right away because someting wasnt right i know my child the paramedics came assest the baby and noted her eyes where a little glossy but her vitals were good now i believe in my heart she was dizzy because she had been congested flat on her back and the little air she could get was poisened from bleach fumes my baby could have died the way i see it and you would not be reading this post instead you would have seen me on the news because i flipped out and handled matters the way i seen fit i will pay 500 dollors for daycare as opposed to free daycare from nanas they need to be shut down i already contacted dcs and reported theyre facility i will next contact the health dept do not trust these people with what God blessed you with.

What can I do to help? I can come in and clean and organize and Give advice on what and how to clean this place up. The fish tank bowls are cloudy the rugs are dirty. The kids are crammed into a small room that connects with the big kids? How is that Ok? This is America not a third world country I know you can do better. Please. The only thing I thought was acceptable was the playground. The A. C.was so low I was only there for a few minutes and it was so warm inside. Please tear down that wall that you keep your front desk at it feels like you are hiding. The groceries are to be kept in the kitchen behind a sealed door every room is open. Please put more care into this place for the children.

My children love going to Nana's Place. They have also went to the center on 43rd Ave but they love the one on Northern. The staff is is kind and helpful, they great us with a smile every day. My children come home taking about the great food they eat at Nana's Place. My children are learning so much at Nana's Place.

Horrible horrible horrible child care center, I don't understand why someone would liscense this place. Watch out for tht big fat white grl, I think her name was Emi, she continued to down talk the children during my tour. They're facility stinks!

Overall great childcare! My daughter just attended the graduation ceremony put on
by Nana's, and is so excited to start her new education. Thank you for helping
my daughter feel great about school.

This daycare is horrible. My son reported that the teacher was hitting him. I confronted the director and she tried making it seem as if my son was a liar. I watched on their cameras myself the teacher grabbing my son roughly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!

This is the worst childcare in the state of Arizona. It smells really bad they have small kids with big kids no type of origination. Staff is rude they have young guys working there which I don't feel comfortable with my two girls attending this horrible establishment. Please don't let your kids be a victim to this place. My girls got sick and they where only here 3 days. The state needs to shut this place down if everyone keep calling on the state on them we could get this horrible nightmare shut down. If I could give them a half of a star I wouldn't. Period

Not a good place to take your kid to. I paid for a week, the mother of my child told be that our daughter was screaming when she pick her up. I ask the lady for my money back she refuse to give me my money back. The lady got into it with the mother of my child. Really bad experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
