Natural Grocers reviews
17Very nice store. All natural, gluten free, vegan, AIP. So much variety. Plus all the vitamins of a health food store.
Only organic produce, generally a bit less expensive than Whole Foods. Smallish grocery section, large supplement section. Friendly staff. At times seems to have a problem keeping the shelves stocked, but they are getting better at keeping shelves filled. They now have a lovely wine and beer selection, including several low alcohol wines. Their Naken is an excellent sparkler.
The first stop into Sedona to grab grocery’s. The selection was nice but as soon as we checked out our cashier was very rude and noticeably was more friendly to the guest before and after us. Will not be going back very off putting experience.
Always good selection and prices. I shop mainly for produce and mostly have a very good selection and prices. Their staff is super helpful.
I Love the Natural Grocers in Tulsa Oklahoma, my home town, it was good to find one in Sedona, since food is medicine, and medicine is food it's nice to have healthy choices
Love that store. But, what's up that in the last couple of months, the price for an item is different at check out, then on the shelf. Usually, higher when you pay? ! They apologize and say it's a "new system". Bad excuse! A very unsettling and stressful experience, where one has to constantly check the cashier. Make sure you double check the price you see on the shelf and the actual amount the store charges you! The other day they charged me $6 for a cucumber that was 99c. Or $5 for eggplant that was listed as $2.99.
"Oh sorry.we have a new system".
Walked through with a backpacking backpack. The young man with the ponytail stocking shelves made me feel more unwelcomed and targeted than I've ever felt in a store in my life. I usually love natural grocers in my hometown, but the aggressive and unsmiling questioning was a bit out of line. Where I work at whole foods, we are taught to handle things differently. Maybe train your staff a little better.
Their selection of food is nice, although the I find that I wait in line WAY too long. Would be nice if they had more lines open when lots of people in line or self check out options.
Very friendly employees.cashiers a little slower
We could not find gatarode to.purchase.
Healthy to the extreme.
What a find in Sedona! I dropped in to pickup 2 items I hoped this health food store would have and got so excited I spent nearly an hour browsing and shopping. Best and largest selection of vitamins and supplements I have ever seen and great food stuffs and produce too. And the best part was talking to the check out person and learning there is a branch back in my home state not too far from me. I will be visiting them soon too.
Nice Store with a Great Supplements Offering of Natural Medicines. Reasonable
Fresh produce. I like the size of this store as it is Not a Monster Store Size where you can get lost in Store.
The Help is friendly and ready to help.
I have come here occasionally for several years, and while the lines can sometimes get long, it is to be expected with Sedona. It's been a great experience. No rude cashiers/employees. Usually have what I want everytime I've gone there, if not, then something similar. Store and restrooms are usually pretty clean.
Clean and comfortable
Produce is local and really fresh
And employees are friendly
Fantastic local resource for quality organic food & products. If I lived here, I'd do the majority of my shopping here
Good selection of organic fresh fruits and vegetables. Great selection of healthy snacks and drinks. Overall a wonderful organic food store!
They have some nice options when they're in stock. But produce is poorly stocked and they let rotten produce sit far past justification. For example the lemons were ALL rock hard and rotten and took time to get to that state, and thats just one expample among many. They aren't well stocked throughout the store despite going different days. I've had some wonderful cashiers check me out and helpful staff when I can't find things. But I've had some awful experiences with 2 of the cashiers in particular that made me stop shopping there. On both occasions I bought a large quantity of items (cart packed top and bottom) and they sat and watched me pack everything by myself after checking out while I fumbled with boxes. I was rushing to get out of the way because there was a long line both times, but I had too many items to pack. Rather than help me pack so I could move out of the way, one cashier (a young guy) played on his phone and then stared at me packing until I was done, not lifting a finger to help. I watched the long line of people behind me just as disgusted with the lack of courtesy as I was. The other occassion, another not very friendly guy cashier just started checking the next person out despite me having a bunch of groceries I still needed to box up on his station, instead of trying to help me get out of the way by helping me load my cart. I'd never treat a customer that way if the shoe were on the other foot. It's humiliating having a long angry line of people stare at you while you fumble like that and there's no justifiable reason cashiers can't help their customers get everything packed in these situations. These experiences cancel out the good ones and make me avoid shopping there now.
