Nekter Juice Bar, Phoenix AZ

Woulda posted sooner but i am just now "out of the woods" health wise.came here for a smoothie, left with food poisoning. Call me crazy but I can't shake the feeling that the girls who are working Friday morning (9/1) did, or did not do something they were supposed to do, which resulted in my getting food poisoning.perhaps they didn't wash their hands, perhaps they used something expired in my smoothie? Regardless, they get one star because I ended up in the hospital Friday night. As I'm getting violently ill less than two hours after having the chocolate/pb smoothie. I think it goes without saying I'm definitely not coming here ever again.

This is the second time in a row they prioritized walk ins over order ahead. People ordering after I placed my order and arrived at the store got their orders around the same time or before me. Yesterday I waited 50 minutes from the time the order was placed until I got my order. The anticipated time on the app said 25 minutes. I checked in at 25 minutes and it still took another 25 minutes to get my order of 3 bowls. They are understaffed and do not know how to prioritize orders. We will not be returning given this was our second time in a row with poor service. Indian School Road Location in Arcadia

I have tried several times on several different days of the week to call this location as my mobile app does not work and when I try to order online my "reward" is not processed, therefore I call to place a phone order so that I can come in and use my reward in person without having to wait for my order to be made. WELL NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. What's the point!

It’s 8: 17 and I’m still sitting here waiting for my bowl (ordered at 7: 58), which she just told me she’s going to get started on. It looks like only one employee working… why don’t you turn off mobile ordering when the staff is short so they can keep up with walk-ins?
This time of the day and people need to get to work. Awful!

HUMAN FINGERNAIL IN MY PROTEIN BOWL. FOOD AND SAFETY WARNING.
I’m so grossed out. I found a human fingernail in my MOUTH after something was hurting and scratching my gums whilst eating. I pulled it out of my mouth thinking it was coconut (even though there was no coconut in my order). When I felt it, it was hard/ flimsy like a nail. It was not coconut. After further investigation you can see clearly the lines of typical human nails. It’s in no way edible. I’m absolutely disgusted and repulsed that this was in my mouth. The fact that gloves aren’t worn? Nails should be kept short when working this type of job, with added gloves for protection. See attached images.

Love this place! My favorite for juice/smoothies/bowls after a workout or for a good tasting and healthy snack.

Every Nekter I go to is friendly, clean and quick. The smoothies are great, the juices are great. You really can't go wrong with any selection honestly lol

Everything was great! My juice was delicious and the ladies were so polite and looked happy to help!

The service was very good and I enjoy your products. One time I had to call to make sure there was no cashew milk in a smoothie because my son is allergic and the staff was very helpful.

Awesome experience with the staff. Quick efficient and friendly! Plus it’s healthy and delicious!
