New Horizons Women's Care - Dr. Theresa S. Chu reviews
7Dr. Chu has changed over the years. She used to be so caring but now she just doesn’t care. When you come in she doesn’t even listen most of the time or disregards what you came in to address. She just brushes it off. I remember having a complicated pregnancy and she wasn’t even that supportive, she just had my specialist do all the work and the sad part is my specialist advocated for me the entire time. I’ll never come see her again. Fortunately there are other great doctors there so I’m changing to one of them, but definitely not trying with Dr. Chu anymore. She isn’t interested in her patients anymore.
Dr. Chu was very helpful and a great communicator. I appreciated her friendly demeanor and expertise.
I really like this place fast and nice attention all time just today the lady nurse or no sure was very rude in many ocasions also feel little racist I drive 30 min since a move to attend this location because I really maybe start to look a close doctor
This clinic may be suitable for individuals in good health, but those with medical conditions requiring special care should seek treatment elsewhere. The clinic is overbooked and lacks attention to important details in patient care.
My appointment was cancelled twice and the wait time for rescheduling was excessive. During the appointment, Dr. Chu was uninterested in my medical history and failed to order an important bloodwork. I had to follow up multiple times for the results and discovered one bloodwork was never ordered. Such kind of mistake is unacceptable and I advise seeking care at another clinic that prioritizes patient well-being.
Dr. Chu is the best doctor! She helps to make a possibly uncomfortable situation comfortable. Friendly & efficient staff, clean & calm office, little to no wait times, they're the best group of professionals.
I have been going to Dr. Chu for about 9 years now. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She is truly so kind and funny! She knows me as soon as I walk in and she always goes out of her way to ask about how my kids are doing. One time I went to see her, she saw me and knew something was really wrong. She personally put me in a wheelchair and took me to the ER. She was there while they ran test, she was there when they admitted me. She dropped everything for me. If you are lucky enough to have her as your OB, take it! She is awesome!
Seen Dr. Chu as I had few questions. Not one visit, but gave her chance for a 2nd visit as well. She doesn't listen or show any compassion. Doesn't at all care for your concersn. And doesn't answer questions. Not at all interested to spend time with her patients. Then why care to become a doctor? Why care to be open to schedule patients? Low grade.
The office staff were a bit rude, they misinform. Obviously discontinuing. If you love yourself, don't see her. Look elsewhere.
