Nico's Mexican Food reviews
17 The food is about half as good as the best Mexican food I tasted and 1/10th as good as real Latin American food (I. E. Everywhere south of Panama excluding Demisvuala!
The service was average.
Sometimes I got sick here, it's a 50/50 chance.
The food was cold. The cheese was not melted. There was alot of food on our plates but there was very little meat on the taco, mostly lettuce and a bit of cheese. My enchilada had cold grated cheese inside, not melted at all, nothing else. There was a lot of rice, refried beans and lettuce, very little meat. It was disappointing.
Got a breakfast burrito, perfect! Big enough to fill you up with one! Homemade tortillas way better then the paper thin ones! There should be a book passed that every truck stop should have a Nico's Mexican food on site!
If you have tons of time to sit on a toilet after eating here, go for it!
Next time I'm hungry, I know to avoid Nico's! Good service.fast service.but the food made my kid, my wife, and me sick! We all ate here and a few hours later, we were all rushing to the bathroom with GI issues. At this point, we all need something stronger than Pepto to cure the cramps! Never again!
Food was great! Your cashier attempted to short change me by $6 dollars. You advertise “CASH ONLY”, no big deal. I went thru the drive thru a week ago, cashier gave me the total $22 and change. I handed over 2 $20 dollar bills. She attempted to only give me $11 dollars and change. As soon as I seen what she was trying to hand me, she just looked puzzled, then smiled and took the cash she had back in the drive thru window and ultimately gave me $16 and change. So she ended up tipping herself a dollar but tried for $6 dollars. It’s crazy you say cash only but yet have someone working there not knowing how to do the simple math required or is just a thief. First time customer here & will be the last unless I go to casa grand but never this specific location I’ll go to again.
I love this place. They allow substitutions like for example I order a California burrito with french fries instead of the potatoes that are normally in there as a true Cali burrito comes with fries and not a boiled potato wedge.
I love this taco shop It is one of the best I've had in a long time I love the fact that I can call and order and their food is delicious
Pleasant small Mexican food with a drive thru. Sign says cash only. Loved my lunch burrito and Jamaica. Was definitely worth the stop!
This place had awesome Menudo. Great burrito and taco as well. Heads up, they only take cash but have an ATM onsite.
Skydiving and Nico's Mexican restaurant.a GOOD day.
Gas at Eloy Citcle Ks are 40 cents cheaper than the valley of the sun.a win win!
The food is always fresh. The cooks are always consistent.friendly staff definitely a pleasure supporting this neighborhood restaurant
They were very polite, and our food was prepared beautifully, and correct even with our custom request.
I ordered super fries with red enchilada sauce. It had way too much onions and the red sauce was watery. The customer service was good. She was very friendly.
This place is small. It has about 5 small tables inside and about 4 outside. It's super clean. The man working the front, Ceaser, is a really nice man. He speaks little English, but I was able to communicate what I wanted though. Everything we had was great. I had meatball soup. Was wonderful. We had side beans with chips, those were awesome. My husband had beef in red sauce and said it's was great. We also got my husband a burrito for his next days lunch. Everything was great. Fairly priced. They have breakfast, too. I believe they open at 630am and close at 945pm. They also have drive thru. My husband is Mexican and he gave this place a thumbs up. Can't wait to try them again.
I got sick from eating here I never eat here but yesterday I did, it’s a never again had my stomach so Messed up.
Las Carnitas are so soft & with salsa verde, even tastier. I also tried the fish tacos & again, not disappointed. Just wish the tortillas were warmer. Definitely a for sure stop when visiting.
