North Ridge Community Church, Cave Creek AZ

This church used to be awesome. The 5pm service on Sundays, in the “Ridge Cafe, ” was a fun, intimate gathering with authentic music. Pastor Mike’s teaching was down-to-earth and accessible, yet with enough depth to make sure you’re always learning.

Since they were absorbed into the mega-church of SBC, the authenticity is gone. The intimacy is gone. Over-produced. Corny, super smiley worship leader. Piped-in sermon. I’m short, another great mid-sized church has fallen to the money-making machine of the mega-church.

RIP Northridge.

SBC is a great church overall. Great messages from pastor Jamie who's the lead pastor of Scottsdale Bible. Coming down to Northridge which just became a part of Scottsdale Bible Church in January, has been amazing. Pastor Kevin is a wonderful young pastor and you can really feel his love for God. Bradley is a wonderful music pastor. People are super friendly and very welcoming. I feel special when I sit in this church and I feel very close to God. I truly feel his prescence. EXACTLY what I need and want.

Great community to get involved in. When I moved to Arizona I felt a part of a great community. I especially felt at home with a great group of young adults that meet regularly which is often hard to find in churches today.

Teaching was solid. Wish our old Pastor (Robert Furrow) in Tucson could have moved with us.but with all the churches we have tried (many) since moving to Scottsdale, I have to say the teaching here has been the best weve found.

My home church for the past 3 years. We are really going to miss Pastor Mike at the pulpit, but are excited for new adventures with the new direction of Scottsdale Bible. It is a place where people can go to be known. It is a large church with a tight community. I have made many lifelong friends and have been challenged in my faith through so many fantastic relationships and ministry opportunities!

Pastors Easter message was simple and yet covered the whole story. I was very happy to have the chance to be there and to hear the message.

I've been visiting this church for years. The are warm and welcoming. The music is amazing, and the contemporary service had always left me with positive feelings of hope.

We go to the 5pm service on Sunday's! We love it! The staff and the people in the congregation are so sweet! The pastor does a really great service!

We have appreciated the friendship and kindness on the part of all staff each time we visit the area. After a tragedy in our family, they opened their arms and welcomed us as "family" even though we live many states away. We visit every chance we have. Thanks, church family, for your warmth and showing God's love in a tangible way!

NRCC is awesome! As a college student, NRCC has given me many opportunities to be involved. I am a Junior High youth leader, and soon to be plugged into the college group. I love this church and everything it stands for!

I absolutely love this church.i started going about a month ago and I can't tell you how much this church has benefited my life. Everyone that attends North Ridge just has a great heart and you feel so welcome when you attend.the music they play there is absolutely great too.

While I have not been attending this church very long, I am already sold. The genuineness and authenticity of the people, particularly the leaders, keeps me going back! After bouncing from church to church over the last couple of years, I can see staying put here.

Northridge Church truly is a place where anyone and everyone will feel accepted. From the awesome worship music to Pastor Mike's self reflecting sermon you will walk away feeling God's presence in your life. I highly recommend taking just a little time from your busy schedules to Stop, Listen and Learn about our amazing Father in this family like atmosphere. I promise you won't regret it my friend.

I've been going here for 3 years and I absolutely love it. Great message and people. Pastor Mike Burnidge is a great man and I love his sermons. Great for kids too.

I spoke to Jimmy at this church. EPIC FAIL. This church is all about money and is a 501 (c) 3. Prophet Mark Taylor warned about these churches.anyway.from my experience. Jimmy who is apart of this church and reaches out to people.said he would meet with me at the church. I found him.he spoke to me about 30 seconds and said "I will talk to you later". It's been two weeks via text.no word. I would never go back to this church again.as mentioned.its all about money. This place disgusts me

This is by far the best church I've ever attended. The young kids' ministries are amazingly fun and educational in the bible. The adult service is also great, with fill in the blank notes. The Junior High and High School ministries, in particular, is quite amazing. The live bands every Tuesday and Sunday, the engaging lessons, and the wonderful leaders really make you feel at home.
