Novel Ice Cream, Mesa AZ

Donut Ice cream sandwiches are must. Go there and get them. You won't be disappointed.

Great little ice cream shop hidden in the heart of downtown Mesa. Employees were pleasant and friendly. Ice cream was rich and delicious. Didn't get to try the donut thing unfortunately, but I'll certainly be back. Highly recommend.

Open until really late, we stopped by here on a weekend at about 12: 30 in the night. There was a long queue and the wait time was about 30 minutes before we could order. They operate out of a small window with only one person taking the order. But the ice cream was so worth the wait! We had the flight with 5 different flavors and waffle cone bits. Loved each of the flavors especially the bourbon caramel toffee crunch, chocolate and the butter pecan. We also tried the donut ice cream sandwich with the chocolate+cocoa pebbles and the bourbon caramel toffee crunch with waffle cone pieces and loved both of them so much! Would go again anytime and wait in that line for this ice cream.

Definitely my favorite ice cream shop in Mesa. Tucked away in a little corner across from the AZ Museum of Natural History (aka the "dinosaur museum" and another favorite place in Mesa), this place has amazing ice cream. Only a few flavors at a time, which includes some long time favorites and a rotating menu of flavors, my favorite is the Bourbon Caramel Toffee Crunch. My kids love the Cookie Monster (but warning-it will turn your mouth blue). Everyone once in a while I'll try one of the rotating flavors. They're all good.

I recently discovered his place, it's now one of my favorite places to go for ice cream. Friendly employees and amazing ice cream!

Worth the wait in line. I had the lemon head. It really tasted like a lemon head and was made from real lemon. My husband had the donut ice cream sandwich and loved it with the bourbon toffee.

Decided to try new place. This is place nice little shop. Loved the service and the atmosphere. The ice ceam was good, but the cookies were stale, i won't be coming back any time soon, but definitely will give another try down the road.

What a neat spot, a little window tucked away, serving ice cream in a cup, cone, or sandwiched in a warm donut. Fun!

I didn't understand the hype of this place. The ice cream was good I got the vanilla and my husband the cookie monster. It turned his month blue but he said it was ok. It was good for a 1st time try but I won't be going again not because it wasn't good it's just a preference. It's a good place to take the kids tho.

I love the assortment of flavors. The prices are also very affordable and the best part is that the place is open late.

Amazing delicious location and ice cream! Very beautiful walk way area. Sweet and Nice staff. Man at window I apologize didn’t catch a name but he explained everything well for my first time ordering. My dog got his pup cup! Absolutely loved it flavor was bacon and peanut. I received an ice cream with cone but definitely coming back again and ordering the donut ice cream. Astro and I love our new Novel ice cream stop. Thank you for having us. I will give more stars if I could.
