Oak Creek Vista reviews
19 Absolutely fantastic views. I’ve managed to visit here on both sunny days and rainy days. Good views both times.
Below the vantage point the road winds sharply down into Oak Creek Valley.
Parking lot provides easy access to the overlook. A native market sells jewelry and other items.
Beautiful view of oak Creek canyon. Plenty of parking. Also lots of native American booths set up to get really nice authentic made arts and crafts.
How high can tou go? Apparently 6,420 ft high at the Oak Creek Vista Viewpoint. Spectacular views with a Native American small arts market. Take a few minutes after enjoying the panoramic canyon vista to sit at one of the tables and talk about Native American art and heritage. Definitely worth tbe stop.
Beautifull scenic spot. It's on the side going north to Flagstaff so if you're heading south you gotta look for the sign. Bonus is authentic native American handmade crafts with vendors along a row. Very talented and gifted and personable.
Beautiful view here. Native American craft market here is definitely worth exploring. Found some beautiful earrings here.
The most spectacular ride from Sedona! The jewelry is made by Native Americans and it's authentic. We had the most awesome day
Truly spectacular stop for the view and geology. The geologic significance is not immediately obvious however, there is a pretty nice interpretive display worth checking out at the viewpoint. Restrooms available. Nice little market for Native American crafts.
It's an overlook of the canyon with native American crafts fair. Worth a 10 minute stop but nothing to be terribly excited about. The view of the winding road is good
Having grown up traveling through this region, I was indifferent. My wife says it is because I have spent too much time at places like the Grand Canyon, Glacier, and Banff. So I might be jaded.
Not much here really, just a lookout point. Although sometimes depending on the time of the year there's probably a dozen Native American booths selling handcrafted jewelry and knicknacks. There are public restrooms with running water, but the toilets are the open septic tank style like a port-a-potty even though it's inside a permanent structure. Kinda smelly, but it won't kill you in an emergency.
Fantastic views. Picked up some Navajo jewelry, for the artist that made it. They explained the meaning of each piece. A must if you make the drive up 89a from Sedona.
A beautiful place to visit Nice natives selling their own work pots silver an all sorts of arts
Beautiful views! En route to Flagstaff via 89A, totally worth the stop. Check out the Native American jewelry that's available, absolutely wonderful.
Slow down here and stop and look at the views well worth it can't find it most places like this
Great view of the canyon and a Native American market. Also some cool shirts in the ranger station. The goods!
An absolute must. Stop here on your way down into the valley. Stunning views and cool stalls from local Natives.
Beautiful scenic overlook that has a large area set aside for native Americans selling their things.
An incredible location in America. You need to go there to see the beautiful state of arizona. Also sedona is incredible. This is a must see location. Arizona is an incredible state.
