Off The Hook Meat Shop LLC, Goodyear AZ

We go out of our way to get steaks from this shop! We live in northern AZ, but when we are in Phoenix to pick up supplies, we’ll drive an extra half hour west to Goodyear just to get their steaks, hot sauces and Mexican Moonshine salsa (it’s to die for!) Thank you for your friendly and superb service. The filets we get from here just melt in your mouth!

Sadly, I had a bad experience today at this meat shop.
My wife, parents and I have been customers for years.
This store isn’t the closest to me. It takes me over 20 min one way to get there.
I live near by a beautiful Frys Marketplace at Litchfield that has very good nice marbled meet/ steaks and other places along the way much closer, but I choose that place because of service.
When I walked in and my order wasn’t ready the employee argued with me even tough he was extremely wrong and communicated the wrong expectations about an order being ready / time.
After asking him to chill, he Kept arguing with me in front of my daughter and other customers, he kept going and stating that it was my fault / wrong as a customer for not calling weeks in advance for 5 steaks.
He stated is my fault that he was busy with too much work!
He made me feel bad and that I was and problem, I didn’t felt valued as a customer.
Took him 1 minute to do the work and 10 minutes to argue, he even stated to go somewhere else.
I am very surprised because the owner always seemed professional and happy with their team. I hope this employee learns from his bad habits, non sense, stubbornness, ignorance and grows from it. Just this year alone I spent over $3000 dlls.
MY family members and I close to $6k combined.
Not fighting with customer and proving good customer service / apologize for screwing up goes long ways.
Will be looking for another spot

After searching the Valley for rabbit, I was finally able to buy it here! Many thanks. I use to raise rabbits and enjoyed lots of fresh meat from them. Very interesting store. Nice folks.

Excellent Meat Market! The meat is high quality and they have tons of different Sausage options. I love the other products they also have that you can't find at the grocery store. They support local vendors and have great product offerings from them.

Got to be the best shopping experience I’ve had in a long time. The store is clean and I came out with a nice pork butt. Highly recommend place.

I’m just going say that steaks from the grocery store are nothing compared to the ones you will get from Off The Hook.

Awful customer service.when you walk into a place like this and you have to declare you’re looking for something without being asked first is a very telling sign of what you should expect from a customer service quotient. Meat quality is ok.everything in this place is exorbitantly priced… Like 3x what is should be… Also, please don’t disrespect Chicagoland Arizonans by over freezing corned beef and seeking 3x more than its worth. Same goes for the Italian beef, hot dogs, buns, giatdiniera, brats, Italian sausage, etc.you obviously have a captive audience and no competition.
Just a reminder. Good customer service goes a long way. Try talking to your customers.

GameChanger.best burger ever Rib Eye's, WARNING. Done bother with overpriced wagu. Get the thick cut Boneless. Take'm off a couple minutes early, AMAZING. Breakfast sausage. Tryem all. It's hard to pick a favorite. CHICKEN, is still just chicken. Try Boneless pork chops. Hot sier slow cook. They were great. I have purchased so much here and have never been disappointed. Not just recommend A Must. Enjoy.

We went to check this place out. It looked nice but when I opened the freezer to get some meat products they were expired. Some were from 2021! Not sure if people have gotten sick yet or not but watch out. Go elsewhere!

Great place and great cuts of meat. I love the garlic olive oil and seasonings. This butcher shop is awesome.

Great family owned local butcher shop with terrific service. They have a wide array of meats, including lamb, bison, venicen and carry other local prepared foods like ceviche, spices, rubs etc. Very impressed with this place

The level of customer service is stellar. The quality of fresh meats, poultry and seafood is unmatched! I am so happy I stumbled upon this gold mine find.

This is by far the beat place to buy meat. We purchased a brisket and it was amazing. So I asked someone there why it tastes so much better than store bought and he explained to me that they get their meat from a place the markets don’t and markets sell a different grade of meat. They may cost more but this place is worth it. I just wish Hopes Bakery was next door a d we can have the best of both worlds. Both places are the bomb. We are lucky right here in the west valley to have these two business. Love you guys! Ten stars if I could

We wanted a two bone prime rib for Christmas dinner for four and I pre ordered one from Off The Hook and it was ready on time and we all agreed it was the best prime rib we have even had.even better than Lawry's in LA. A wonderful shop and besides the meat all of the spice and bottled products are really good too. We are really fortunate to have them here.

I was so excited to find an actual butcher here on the West side of the Valley. The shop is cool and clean. The woman behind the counter leaves quite a bit of "attitude", not appreciated. We ordered a prime rib for Christmas Day. I HOPE IT TURNS OUT BETTER THAN THE FROZEN FISH THAT WE COULDN"T EAT! That day when ordering the prime rib, we bought Walleye and Haddock, both frozen. I baked in the last two weeks both, both were so TOUGH and basically inedible. Tonight I baked the haddock and it was so tough, neither one of us could eat it! I have ordered fish from Fulton Fish Market and it is stellar. Buyer BEWARE on the frozen fish. We spent 30.00 for that fish. I hope the prime rib turns out on such a special day.

Beautiful store, wonderful owners! My dog loves her bone, and my ham for Christmas! Best ever! Highly recommend going. Especially with all the bad meat at Costco and the grocery stores right now!

1st time there. Good selection of meat. Bought a chuck roast to smoke on the grill. Also got a new rub from there for the meat.

Beef and meat in general are out of sight but you know u will get good cuts here. Can't wait to smoke my prime
and tomahawks!
