Old Benson Ice Cream Stop

Not as exciting as it looks! I got mocha flavor which was the worst ice cream I ever had; super boring no flavor at all. My husband got German chocolate that had tiny bit more flavor than mine.

The selection of ice creams and toppings were numerous, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and I even learned about the history of the place. Overall, a very delightful experience.

Loved it! The menu is huge and it was very kindly explained. Frozen hot chocolate is truly out of this world!

Prices here are amazing! I will be driving from Tucson just to get ice cream. It would be cheaper to drive here than to pay the prices in town. So many options and flavors it's insane. Thank you Old Benson Ice Cream Stop

Drove 30 minutes to get ice cream, my Espresso and my sons PinaColada both tasted like Vanilla ice cream with no additional flavoring. I accidentally said I wanted it in a cup, then changed it to cone. I was handed my ice cream in a cup. Not a huge deal, but I mentioned to the person that handed me my ice cream that I specifically asked for a cone and she proceeded to argue with me. Why argue with the customer over a small ice cream?

We arrived as they were closing. The young man recognized that we were first timers. Showed me the menu and recommended the glacier. They kindly took time to make us each a delicious "turtle" glacier. We sat outside and they left the lights on for us. Thank you so much for the extra care and customer service. We'll come back next time we are in Benson.

I love this place. They have the best staff and most delicious treats. Can't do dairy? No problem. They have a frozen treat that will please your palate. Pineapple and watermelon are my two favorites.

I thought this place was famous, like everyone knows about it, because the ice cream and soft serve were too delicious, Rocky road has a perfect amount of pecans and marshmallows, the owner and staff were awesome.

Dozens of delicious choices and so many are sourced from a local dairy. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely worth going out of your way to go here.

Best ice cream I've had since I moved to Arizona! Lots of options, prices are great, and the size/quantity of ice cream you get is huge! I can't wait to come back!

Absolutely adorable little place- couldn’t believe the amount of interesting flavors they offer. Cute painted mural on side of building. It’s small but definitely a fun stop to make! And clean:)

The owner & her family were SO nice. We were just passing thru town and saw her shop. She took the time to explain their menu & even let us try flavors. Our group all loved our choices We totally recommend stopping when you're in the area.

Drove from Tucson to the Chiricuahua mountains for a family reunion and made a detour just for ice cream. Yummy!

Stopped and grabbed ice cream here after a visit to nearby Tombstone and was impressed by the wide variety of flavors and great service. The big hit was the Apple Pie Glacier - a real treat after a long day!

The service was very friendly and helpful. A huge selection and the service took a lot of time and explained. We had milkshakes which were delicious. And the prices. I would rather call it aqls cheap. I would enjoy a milkshake here again.

It was great. The ice cream was perfect. The customer service was great, the girls didn't stare us down waiting impatiently for us to order, and they were willing to answer any questions we had. They even double checked after our questions if we still wanted what we originally ordered. It's a nice atmosphere and the girls were great at making us feel welcome. I'll definitely be coming back next time i visit Benson.

What a wonderful surprise! Thought we were going to get a simple soft serve. We went through the drive through and when it was time to order they had all kinds of flavors! Things like coconut. We are starting a new tradition on our trips to and through the area. This was a perfect treat on our way home from Tombstone.

I love the Dole whips. Especially mango and pineapple. Prices are great, ice cream is delish!
