OPA Life Greek Cafe reviews
17I have been so depressed you guys have been closed for so long! The remodel looks great! I need some OPA back in my life!
Not really a good spot to have lunch. Very uncomfortable temperature, they keep their doors and windows open at all times. Flies are all over the food. One of the employees was trying really hard to be friendly but doesn't know he was just being creepy giving compliments out and making jokes during ordering.
This is a complete joke. Not ONE Greek person is employed there. Want the REAL Greek experience? Greek Town in Phoenix. Alexandria's in Fountain hills. Real Greek food! Real Greek people. Real Authentic. Treat your self to the real thing. Do you buy knock offs? Why eat one.
I read a review calling this place a joke because no one was Greek. That argument means i can't enjoy good seafood if there isnt a fisherman working there. Food is still good. Good food is good food. Good service is good service. I recommend opa life.
Horrible service, guy at counter was very rude and then proceeded to ask us if we wanted to leave a tip the audacity to ask after being rude and dismissive towards me and my dad who have never been there and were asking if it was open seating and where do we order. Don’t come here. Over priced beer and horribly ran
OPA Life Greek Cafe is located inside of Westgate entertainment district. I've been visiting this location with family and friends for the past 9 years. This restaurant never disappoints. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service at the counter is friendly. Certain nights a local band performs on the patio. Order a beer or OPA'tizers for a wonderful night of entertainment to enjoy. Make sure you come hungry the portions and the price point are very reasonable. My go to menu item is the Chicken Soulvlaki Skewers which is marinated chicken breasts with a lemon Dijon sauce also comes with two sides. The options of rice, mix veggies, Greek salad, fries or upgrade to Greek Fries for a special treat. The Opa Salmon Wrap is also a delicious meal option. Don't forget to treat yourself to the numerous desserts. Team Baklava! I highly recommend this establishment if your craving Greek food.
Big let-down. Gyro’s didn’t seem real - not exactly sure what they were. Beet salad didn’t have all ingredients listed on the menus. All the salads were drown in dressing.
Love the Greak food and desserts and love the fact that there are no waiters, so people are not rushed off to clear the table as soon as they finish their meal. Then time for a great dessert, good coffee and relaxed time for prolonged conversations, people watching and enjoying the surroundings.
I stop by here frequently for lunch as they have the best Gyros in the area (yes I've tried them all.) and they also manage to serve a respectable side salad. The prices are very reasonable and the employees are endearing. The atmosphere is distinctive (in a good way!). The venue is clean, the breeze and cute little birds graze through the outdoor dining area. Although one must understand it is also a pub and it very much feels like one, it manages to have some class. My only two complaints are that I can't park my motorcycle near the establishment. I prefer to keep an eye on it and don't like parking in remote lots. This prevents me from visiting more often. The tea was also either empty or.not in good standing the last few times I've tried it. I hate soda and alcohol both, please maintain drink options for people who value their health.thank you.
Employees were nice.
We got the trio hummus and it was so good!
Also got the chicken soulvlaki with rice and Greek salad. It was good but the chicken felt cold and the rice was a bit salty. Salad was good.
My sister got the chicken ceaser wrap. It was good
The coffee products and dessert products are the benchmark as far as I'm concerned. This place is an amazing date spot, right smack-dab in the middle of Westgate. My ol'lady and I just love this place. Do yourself a favor and check out opa life;this place is amazing, period.
Great food once again Opa if not better! The gyro was outstanding with juicy & smooth meat. The pita was fluffy and light.
The new surprise star was the French fries! What was the great breading on the fries? It was great! I recommend fries lover trying!
They always take care of me here. Consistently asking if I need anything. And they are Consistently offering discounts with their rewards program.
Opa is wonderful. Everything here is amazing, particularly the hummus, the fries, and the chicken and lamb. Run don't walk!
The food is reasonably priced and for the most part tastes excellent. The desserts we had were good, but the Greek food is obviously the star of the show. The pita gyro had a generous portion and the taste was fantastic. The setting was also very classy and the surroundings were amazing. Overall this is a place I would certainly recommend people visit.
Had a minor issue that was immediately resolved! Greek salad was good. Saganaki was good as well. Capers w pita was excellent!
Good food friendly service. I got the philly with all gyro meat and Greek fries. Also got the blended baklava coffee drink with decaf since it was close to my bedtime. Lol. If you like baklava you must get this drink.
