Restaurant Orchard Tavern reviews
17A cute little restaurant hidden from the street! I highly recommend trying this little gem out! We got ahi tuna tartar, mushroom pizza and their tacos! They were on special, 2 tacos and a margarita for $10
Great outdoor or indoor seating with a nice vibe. I completely recommend ordering any of their pizzas.
The decor is nice and our waitress was very good but the food was subpar for the price. My girlfriend got a Ahi Tuna Salad and I had the burger. Her salad was subpar but my burger was just plain bad, I only ate most of it because I was starving. It was well done (i ordered it medium), wasn't seasoned well and worst of all the cheese wasn't melted! Very disappointed as I had high hopes for the place, you really can't beat the location but for this price and the quality of food I say go somewhere else.
Nice little place the food selection is great they have indoor and outdoor seating the price for food is fair for the amount of food you get nd the food is delicious I will be returning:)
We recently had our daughters wedding at Pomelo and wanted to send a big thank you to Linda and her staff! The venue was perfect, the food was amazing and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Linda worked with the budget, made suggestions and added some special touches to make it a perfect evening.
Superb all the way around. Service was top notch every step of the way, as was the food. My only critique would be: maybe they could find a better dipping sauce for the calamari. Like an aioli. But otherwise really amazing place to eat. I can definitely see why it's so popular.
A plus was being able to peak into the beautiful kitchen they have here, every time someone came out of the doors. Everything looked spotless, new, everyone is dressed really nicely, it just looked like an amazing kitchen and people seemed to be working together well in there. Very nice to see.
Everything in this restaurant, including the restrooms and bar, were spotlessly clean, despite it being a busy night.
We'll be back.
Dinner was good, food was good, service was good. They handled our allergy and dietary restrictions well (mainly why 4 not 3 stars). Overall just good. Nothing amazing about this spot. Usually I'm at the orchard for Luccis and this place gets I overlooked. And now I see why.sort of for good reason. I'd suggest going on Mon or Tues though when they have their wine & pizza specials. Their chocolate cake dessert though was very scrumptious and a bite each made everyone happy.
Highly recommend! Pomelo is AMAZING! It is in a super cute area called "The Orchard" that also houses an ice cream shop and Luci's cafe. We recently rented the Lawn/Barn space through Pomelo for a memorial service. It was BEAUTIFUL The picture below is how we had the east lawn set up. We played a slideshow and performed our own music. The staff at Pomelo were super accomodating and very professional and friendly. They moved chairs around for us and made sure it was how we wanted it. We had the east lawn set for a service and the west part of the lawn set up with tables for food. The tent set up was really pretty and the twinkle lights on the surrounding trees were stunning at night! The food was SO GOOD! We had barbecue meatballs, spinach and artichoke dip, chips and salsa, a hummus tray, and pizza! I ate so much! It was delicious! Linda, the event coordinator, was a huge blessing to us! She made the process so simple and made sure to know what we wanted and worked with us to get it right. They had candles and succulents on the tables that if we had wanted, we could have just walked into and not have had to set any of our other momentos up. The food was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was amazing! I would 500% do another event there. & I can't wait to go to Pomelo to eat again! Though at the time I only peeked in the windows during our event, the restaurant looked really nice and if the wait staff is half as nice as the catering staff its sure to be a delight!
The place had new staff which caused a few hiccups but they compensated us and treated us well and the food was really really good. The pepperoni pizza with ricotta is fantastic
Delicious food (salmon omelet, awesomely seasoned and prepared potatoes) & Barbados rum, go for weekend brunch. Excellent service, sat at the bar
Great time, great food and great customer service. Beautiful ambiance indoors and out. Off-the-beaten-track but definitely worth stopping by.
Seems like a really nice place didn't eat anything at the time, but I did order a drink and the price was different from when I sit down to the time I paid. I mentioned that to the bartender and he went to check then finally made it right for me. Personally I like it when they make it right right away, then explain. Don't think I'll go back. My drink was $9 happy hour, and wasn't a great pour.
The food is fantastic and the management is anxious to please. We love the outside seating and the atmosphere is friendly. Check out their daily specials.

RE - Restaurant reply:
I would highly suggest you review the footage again because I would not complain over 2 minutes in seating time. LOL.
And I would also advise you see the footage of how the service was with our waitress when we requested different toppings for our pizza, which were never brought to us - as well as the manager reclining to let us redeem the voucher for a free appetizer as she states she could do it "next time", but there will be no next time, overall pretty much a waste of time to even offer it.
Visiting from East Valley, My buisness partner and I were searching for a new spot to eat at.
We came across Pomelo- the outside setting is beautiful, fell in love with it
We stepped inside, waited about 10 mins to even be greeted by anyone in the establishment.ok.
We got sat eventually and We ordered first the Calamari with Shrimp vetti
I am a huge calamari fan, and sadly this was disappointing. It was all lumped together - and for $14 the portion was embarrassing.
We spoke to our server who took the dish back to kitchen for them to review, we declined a reorder they offered.
We ordered pepperoni pizza, which was delicious.
Reason for my rating was mostly the service - for it being a Saturday night. Not many tables in. The service and professionalism could have been ALOT better.
Coming from venturing some of the top fine dine diner restaurants in AZ and California- this is not by any means impressing.
The service and ambiance are first rate, but the food was a little off. I had a version of eggs Benedict and I could barely cut the English Muffin with a steak knife. Food was warm not hot. R
Eric our waiter gets a10. But probably won't do brunch again.
Good cocktails that weren't overly sweet. The place is well decorated and the seating was surprisingly comfortable. Smaller menu, but food was delish. Having the courtyard with Luci's nextdoor is also a cool perk
Great food. Great atmosphere. Had a baby shower outside in the misters and lights throughout the trees. A nice water splash area for the kids. Right across the grassy area is Lucy's, which is a bit more casual and cheaper.
