Used to love outback, especially this location but wow we haven't been in years and it feels like a dying mall. From the odd hours (no doubt a sign this place is struggling), to lack of people, and overall was just a meh experience considering how pricey it is. Salads were very light on dressing, and food came out barely warm. We aren't ones to complain, we just won't return. I'll be surprised if this place makes it to next year at this rate

Great service and good food. Only knock is all four of us noticed y'all shrunk the size of the coconut shrimp.

The excitement of this chain is gone. Very much middle age to Sr crowd.and empty for a weekend. Nothing impressive, Food was barely warm and really did not seem fresh off a grill more warmed up and splashed with some cold sauce. From comments overheard at other tables we were not alone. For quality and quantity not worth the $$.

Brutal, gone way downhill. Hadn't been to this place in a long time but won't be returning anytime soon. Where to start, blooming onion was raw, steak was cooked wrong, service was slow, and to top it off spent more than $130 on terrible food

Came back after a bad experience.
Food and service was excellent!
A extra special shout out to Alyssa R for the great service.

There coconut shrimp used to be the best with the pina colada sauce. However, now it’s the store bought Sea Pak Coconut shrimp with there sauce. Believe me it wasn’t worth the 15.00 it charges you for the appetizer. The shrimp was huge. Now you get 6 small pieces! Texas Roadhouse is much better with better quality. Outback has gone downhill since COVID-19.

Our server, Lavon really helped to create a wonderful dining experience. From the suggestions to the kind humor and the incredibly timed courses, he was great! The food was superbly flavored and spiced to perfection with generous portion sizes. We left full, content, and happy to have enjoyed our early dinner with a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back in the future

While the area is packed with a ton of choices, it’s our go to place where we can always get a seat at the bar.

Recently stopped in to Outback for a late lunch/early dinner.

Found the service and quality of the food to be excellent.

Greatly enjoyed my prime rib which was cooked perfectly.

Look forward to dining at this location again in the future.

Horrible customer service. Got hung up on 3 times while trying to place a to go order. The other two times I tried it just rang and rang and rang as if they just don’t care. Was gonna place an order for over $200, but i guess take out isn’t important to them since they think they won’t get tipped, or whatever the case may be. Too bad, I live right next to this location and was more than willing to take care of whoever took my order and help me out. Would have done it online but the modification options are limited and there were several items that had allergies I needed to verify could be changed.

Not a “karen”, I work in the industry myself, this was just bad business. Not even like it was a friday or saturday night either. If you were that busy you could have said politely that i’d be placed on hold, not just hang up on me 3 times in a row with a poor attitude.

If you cannot handle working in a restaurant being busy, find another job. I will gladly go to tempe or chandler from now on.

I hadn’t eaten here in about 2 yrs. They still have pretty good food and the service was nice. Good selection of beer and steaks. I like their sides too. If you are watching calories, skip the blooming onions (almost 2000 calories).
Their prices seem have gone up significantly since my last visit 2 yrs ago.

Service fine but the steak and shrimp fettuccine was so bland. Kids grilled cheese looked like kraft singles

Honestly, I've always passed up Outback assuming them to be just another overpriced pre-made food reheating "restaurant". And who knows they may still be.but.
My friend wanted to celebrate a successful life saving surgery she survived with a steak and lobster dinner. I needed to know I had gluten free options. So this is where we landed. Neither of us were disappointed. We both agree, that neither of us wants to be back in the area any time soon, but if we are, this is where we are eating.
The only thing I might see someone complain about is how small the lobsters are, but we didn't ask size beforehand we both know they come in many sizes so had no assumptions from us. I'd still reorder the same meal.
We were there for the whole experience.
The steak was cooked to perfection. I mean, almost worthy of storming the kitchen to kiss the chef.but ya know, germs.

I get it…times are tough and all that (let’s not keep using that as an excuse forever ok?) but times are tough for me too when my beer costs a small fortune ok? But when you look at my empty beer glass and turn around and walk off…please. When I have to stand there for 10 minutes staring at the empty plate at the bar from the person before me and then I have to ask for it to be cleared off…cmon. Bussing isn’t a thing here. I witnessed several seats at the bar that were left with plates sitting there for a hot minute. And when they did get picked up it wasn’t wiped down…visible food particles and trash just chilling. And don’t give me the “too busy” or “understaffed” line…they were joking with each other and walked past me several times (while also washing glasses). Get it together. Get back to the basics. The covid excuse ain’t working anymore.

Had the filet and lobster. The place is really dirty and smells hard of rancid oil and your shoes stick to the floors. Needs a deep deep cleaning.foodwas not great at all. I asked for medium well steak it was medium at best. Lobster tail had a funky smell. I won’t repeat

I am heartbroken to say that Outback is dead to me. I feel like I lost a best friend. The Classic Prime Rib has been my favorite meal for 20 years. Not only has the price increased significantly, the quality of the meat itself has gone WAY down. I always order it medium rare and it’s always been firm yet tender with a nice charred crust. Today it was full of fat, not charred (too much fat to char properly) and extremely hard to cut with that big Outback steak knife. The sangrias were not available by pitcher anymore and extremely weak. I don’t feel like this is a fluke. I think this is Outback trying to make up for the clear lack of business by raising prices while going with cheaper meat suppliers. The decor was the same early 90s style it’s always been except really worn and kinda dirty. Really ruined the evening on my birthday. Service was excellent, but that’s not enough to get me to drop another $125 on extreme disappointment.

This place has recently changed ownership and gone from good to great. It had been looking super slow for several months so we wondered if things had gone down hill. We were wrong. We hadn't been in a while. Everything was better than we expected. I ordered a filet, kids got grilled cheese, and hubs got tenders and French onion soup. Soup he claimed was now on par with somewhere like Capital Grill. My steak was perfect. Fries I picked off kids plates were also perfect. Service was exceptional. If you haven't been in a while, I highly recommend stopping back in.

We were really disappointed with the stack salad my wide and I were both served. It was essentially a small steak on a bed of lettuce. The other items that were supposed to be on the salad were (dressing, nuts, etc) were so few that they didn't add any flavor. We will not be returning.
