Outdoor Adventure Centers - OAC Tours, Cottonwood AZ

Had an amazing time kayaking at the Frosty float. Our guide was fun, knowledgeable and the entire staff made the experience memorable. I am absolutely going to do some more adventures with OAC!

We had an amazing kayaking experience! If you are looking for a fun adventure I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and having a guide capture are experience meant the world to us.

A wonderful family kayak trip with two grandkids (6 and 9). The mild rapids were fun and there were more than expected. All had a nice time drifting along and negotiating the rapids. The trees and occasional bird sighting added to the experience. Our guide made the trip a wonderful adventure. He took time to explain so many things we passed. He let us know about the year’s high water events. He prepared us for each rapid and when necessary located himself in a position to provide assistance if necessary. I highly recommend OAC tours. We were greeted with a smile and each person with the company was friendly from start to finish. They were available to assist and took the lead to offer help. The entire team demonstrated an interest in our having an safe, enjoyable experience and we did.

We really enjoyed our tour down the verde river with Walt. He was awesome and had the perfect balance of information/guiding and letting us enjoy the river. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a beautiful & fun experience on the river.

OAC helped us to host the most amazing wedding reception float! The guides were professional-and most importantly, very fun! I cannot recommend them enough!

Pure heavenly! I loved the trip! Kris was very helpful, fun, and a good teacher. We saw some of the burros around the lake and made it back for a beautiful sunset over the mountains. I appreciate learning a consistent approach to paddling from Kris.

I had a wonderful time on the Verde river tour. Our guide, Blaine was super helpful and knowledgeable. Although some of the rapids were challenging, I always felt safe and had a lot of fun! Loved that our guide took a bunch of photos of us as well.

We had an amazing time. Our kids had so much fun and laughed so much. The tour guides, Cheney and Blain were wonderful. Very fun, yet very professional. They did great with all of us, our kids couldn’t stop talking even after we were done. I highly recommend them.

A definitely must! It was so much fun! My husband and I had a great time kayaking the Verde River. Our tour guide, Chris and Nick were awesome! They are knowledgeable, funny and made us feel incredibly safe throughout the entire trip. The rapids looked a little intimidating but we were assured if we flipped over, all we had to do was stand up hahaha. The rapids were really run to ride on.

We had such a great time kayaking the Verde River with OAC Tours! We had only been kayaking on a couple of lakes, prior to this experience, so we weren't sure what to expect from river kayaking.but it was SO MUCH FUN! This stretch of river has the perfect amount of small rapids to feel fun and adventurous, with nice calm waters in between that let you take in the beauty of nature. The kayaks felt clean, comfortable and safe. And we couldn't ask for better guides.they were fun, friendly and knowledgeable, always there to happily lend a hand where needed and make sure everyone was having a great time! They also take lots of great photos of everyone, that you wouldn't get otherwise! I think we're hooked now and can't wait for our next river kayak adventure!
