OYO Hotel Rose's Willcox - North Haskell Ave reviews
14Stayed here and it was only place I could have all 3 of my dogs and my boyfriend who is also a dog (I know this now) with out having to hide them
If your like me you want to support the small business owners. Instead of giving your money to some chain. This is a cute little motel. The gal who works there, Mandy she treats you like family. There just small town people trying to make a living.
Clean, quiet, secure, friendly, hospitable, charming, affordable this are all admirable qualities that I experienced which I am commending this is not criticism hence the 5 stars sorry for the misunderstanding
The room was just the right size for an overnite stay. The chair was actually comfortable as well as the king size bed. Quiet but the ac was noisy. Check in was easy & the clerk was very nice. Would stay again when passing thru.
We stayed here on our way to New Mexico because we were too tired to keep driving. We showed up with no reservation (but had checked availability online ahead of time) and Shelly secured our reservation for cheaper than it was online (we didn’t want to go through a booking site with hopes that Rose’s makes more money that way, idk). Shelly was a delight. The room was great- clean, ac worked well, bed was comfortable, no noise from neighbors (we had people staying next door) - truly no complaints! We were able to park our van right in front of our room which was great. If we’re ever back in Wilcox we will definitely stay here again! Thanks Shelly!
A+ service and the staff is accommodating and nice. The lady at the front desk, Sherry was understanding when we were running late.
Beautiful, especially for the price.
Thanks to Shelly for the warm reception, it's the third time I live here, it's as quiet as ever, and the room is very clean
Shelly made us feel welcomed. Room was nice and comfortable. We stayed one night on our way to Texas from California. Visit old town Willcox!
What can I say, I love Rose's Motel, it's a clean, safe place to rest. The staff really does take pride in making sure that you rest well. I was there for a couple days and have to say I truly enjoyed my stay. Thank you Shelly, and thank everyone else for me
Stayed at this motel for 2 nights after our car broke down on our way across the country. This place was super clean and it had a nice homey feel to it. Warm colors and lamps. I felt safe here and would definitely recommend this motel to anyone passing through this small town.
I stayed at Roses Motel on the way to visit my mom in West Texas. Shelly checked need in and was very nice and helpful! The room was nice and clean. Great place for a great price! I had both my dog and cat with me and they were welcome to stay (with a fee of course).
This is a updated older motel on what would have been the main drag of Wilcox before I-10 bypassed town. The rooms are very well kept and I think it's Sherry at the front desk is a jewel! The location is ideal for visiting the Chirichuas or wine sampling in downtown Wilcox. The train tracks aren't far away so you can hear the trains but it's not a disturbance. Would definitely stay here again.
Overall a 5-star experience. We checked in after midnight and left the next morning around 10am on May 4th. Scott made sure we had everything we needed even though we awoke him from his sleep. Cali traffic made us hours later than we planned to be. They really out did themselves with the updates. I'm not exactly sure what it looked like before but what it is now, it a small cozy 1950's style motel updated to its absolute best. The bed was comfortable and bug free. They also had a cute vanity in there and blackout curtains. I didn't discover the bathroom heater until after my shower but dang, HOT water and a small outlet heater. We left our fan in the room after we checked out (my husband cant sleep without white noise), the next day I called for it, and they graciously held onto it for us until we swung back through the following day. I only travel to this area every few years to stay with a cousin, but this will be a planned stop next time we need a place to stay.
