Papa John's Pizza, Mesa AZ

This store has the WORST customer service. We ordered 2 XL pizzas for the family and the pizzas were both destroyed. When we called to ask for replacements, they didn’t even answer the phone. And their “customer service” told us to call the store manager. Who never answered the phone after several attempts to reach them. Horrible assistance, I guess you get what you pay for.

You guys are THE BEST in the business! My husband and I are senior citizens on a very low fixed income (husband is on disability due to bad car accident caused by an underinsured driver, age 19!) Insurance paid for loss of our car but only part of my husband's medical. Ordering pizza from Papa John's is our way of "going out to eat. " I do wish we could afford to tip your drivers more than our $2.00, but the God's honest truth is we just cannot. We try to order whenever you have specials to make it more affordable for us.

Your food is AWESOME, delivered ON TIME, temperature is always HOT, drivers are SO friendly! We thank you VERY much for your professionalism and consistency of quality! Keep up the WONDERFUL job you all do; we appreciate it more than we can say!

Usually really good but lately not so great. There is a new guy answering the phone with a very thick accent and it sounds like he is talking through a mask so it makes almost everything he says inaudible. Also he is not rude but he sounds like he is irritated to be taking calls. This has happened on 3 occasions over the last two months. I usually order a pizza with extra sauce but the last 2 times the pizza's were not cooked all the way thorough so the only way to eat it without every thing falling off was with a fork and knife.

I’ve never had an issue with my order. They’re always timely and the pizza is always good. The new pizza sandwiches are AWESOME!

Sierra was amazing despite a couple hic ups from some minor stuff she fulfilled my order despite it. Amazing customer service made me feel like family:) Thank you so much!

I have been a customer of this place for 5 years.although the quality is ok I don’t understand the price range! I alway order the same thing a large works and an order of garlic wings.the price goes from $21.00 to today $37.00 and I can’t get a logical explanation for the disparate difference.after today I will find another pizza place.you just lost a faithful customer!

The wings and the pizza were amazing. I got a large thin crust pepperoni & sausage pizza and it was the perfect amount of crispiness. My husband got wings and really enjoyed them as well. It was a very clean store and the service was great. I’m definitely going back again.

If I could give 0 stars that was it would have received. Papa Johns has really went down in so many ways. Order lunch at your job but delivery person cant find the right address. Manager isnt even apologetic at all. What happened to trying to make sure customers are happy and being taken care of. Without customers she nor would her delivery driver have jobs. CUSTOMER SERVICE is done way with at this establishment it seems. It is always funny when the delivery driver tells you 1 story but "manager " tells you another. Thanks Papa Johns for the experience. And I was supposed to got my refund from the order I never recieved but no refund!

I go back and forth with this location. Sometimes they go above and beyond and sometimes the people there are straight up rude. One time I ordered during the day on a saturday early morning for a party. Come party time no pizza had showed. It turned out to be an error from the website and the manager was super apologetic and got pizza to me within 30minutes. It was excellent amazing service! Half of the other time though, the delivery drivers ignore delivery instructions. I always leave extremely specific ones. The driver went to the incorrect door (two living spaces on one property that looks like only one). I left instructions that they needed to come to the side door, otherwise we could not see or hear them! The driver called me angry and extremely rude because I wasnt answering the door. I told him I couldn't hear him knocking on a residence that literally was not my own. He told me "what NO ONE there could hear me and be bothered to open the door? " Yes, please hold me accountable for your own mistake and then even further accountable when I don't know the coming and goings in someone else's house. I shouldn't have to call and make a huge deal about the delivery instructions, but if I dont the delivery drivers go to the wrong door. It shouldn't take an extra step for my order to be delivered correctly. It's frustrating and its disappointing. The employees make me feel like I cant even say anything when I receive bad service or incorrect service because I'm concerned itll further affect my service. The only reason I'm even posting is because I've decided to no longer order from this location. Truly the dr Jekyll and mr hyde of pizza.so weird.

Walked up to the register where an employee was standing and he didn’t even look up at me, but rudely said “Go somewhere else”. I was clearly a little shocked and someone came up to help who saw the entire situation and said nothing about it. When I asked what specials they had for the day I was promptly told to look up at the menu. With all the pizza places in town. I won’t be back here.

I've had an issue with this location in the past. However, they understood and corrected their mistake. Now I order again and my cheese sticks are over cooked which caused them to be burn. Instead of the cook remaking them, he or she sent them out for delivery. At this point I over ordering anything from the Greenfield and Main location in Mesa. I'm upset that I continue to waste my hard earned money at that location. I'm not sure if they are producing low quality food due to being understaffed or if they simply don't care about what they're handing out to the customers. Either way someone needs to step in and rectify the situation. After reading the reviews I see that I'm not the only person that who complains about this locations horrible quality of food.

One of my pizzas was good the other was so soft it flopped when picking up the slice, my son was very disappointed after looking forward to having good pizza then getting this. Very disappointing

If you can avoid going to this will, PLEASE do! This is the worse papa johns i have EVER been to. The bad experiences have not only happened to me once or twice, we are going on to the 5th bad experience! They always get your order wrong, one time didn't add my garlic and pepper in the box, they have double charged my bank then lied about it, thank goodness my bank seen what they did and reversed it before they processed it for a 3rd time! The lady was EXTREMELY rude when i brought it up. I only go to this one because it is close but in all honesty i may as well save myself the hassle and drive an extra 15 minutes to go somewhere else. Please save yourself and ho somewhere else

Last time we'll get a pizza here. Tasteless, under cooked, ended up throwing the whole thing out. Don't know how a business can do it so wrong. The past 4 pizzas we've bought here (in 5 years) have been uneatable.

My entire adult family I'd tired of the mistakes.we all will never order.
As I told the ride manager, I will go to centers or eat frozen before we will go there agsin. -1 star.

If you like missing sauces, undercooked wings, sarcastic employees and cold pizza go ahead and order from this establishment. I will never again give them my business!

Wow again papa John's letting down another customer wow try to make an order I live on 56th street and main where I'm trying to get my pizza from is on main and Greenfield 2 and a 1/2 city blocks and I can get any pizza here delivered have me order my whole pizza and at the and tell me sire we can deliver ridiculous super disappointed

First time ordering from here. We came from tucson and I am staying at a hotel with my kids. When my food gets delievered he did not even bring napkins knowing I have no plates or napkins being that we are in a hotel. Papa Johns in tucson always brings napkins cheese and peppers. I called and asked if they do not bring them and he said no only if requested. I told him I did not know and I have nothing to put the pizza on and he laughed and said sorry.

The person working the register wore gloves and went from the register to food. I won't go back. Very disappointed.

Ordered online and there was some sort of problem with the delivery as they called to see if I had received my pizzas. It was well past the expected time and I still didn't have them. So they remade them and delivered them free of charge which was nice, but unfortunately they were thin crust and I'm not a fan of thin crust. They were okay I guess.
