LATE AUGUST 2023 VISIT: I just went to Park Terrace to visit my relative who moved there in June, and they are still taking excellent care of him. He loves it there and he is excited to see the remodel which is estimated to be done in mid-September. I ate at their restaurant and the food was really good. One night, I ordered their herb chicken dinner, and it was delicious. I also had a stack of fresh blueberry pancakes with syrup (yum!) for breakfast one morning. I noticed that they have generous hours for meals so that residents can eat at their leisure. It is a great place to live, and the grounds are still very green and beautiful.

EARLY JUNE 2023 VISIT: A relative of mine has been living at Park Terrace Senior Living in Phoenix, AZ for going on 2 months now. It is a very clean, pretty, quiet, and safe environment. They have people standing by to help with anything and everything a resident or a family member may need. It is the perfect environment for independent seniors as well as those requiring some level of aid and attendance. The main building is currently being renovated and I look forward to seeing the outcome because the space was already gorgeous beforehand. They just wanted to update things a bit while also making all the flooring the same level. Park Terrace does a fantastic job of maintaining the grounds and their onsite contractor for aid and attendance is excellent. The entire management team at Park Terrace is very caring and attentive to the needs of residents.

We have lived here almost 3 years. We answered an ad that promised no rent increase for 3 years and were promised that again in our interview. They then raised our rent after 2 years saying it wasn't in our lease. You have to order you food by a certain time if you want to pick it up to go at another scheduled time. It's either not ready, they lose the ticket, say you didn't order or the order is wrong. The restaurant is 1/2 mile, round trip away from our apartment, so too far to walk for 3 meals. You can no longer get your big meal at lunch time, it's too hard on the cooks. Who cares about the residents. We order it one day and heat it up the next day for lunch. They put in a pickle ball court when only 10 people at the most can walk without assistance of canes, walkers or scooters and plan to put a bar in the pool which no one uses. The new owner is preparing for a high end senior community and doesn't care that residents are moving out by the handful. We are leaving at the end of the month to a community where a dozen former residents live. Don't move in unless you want a place where management and employees take precedent over residents.
