Partners Dog Training, Resort and Daycare, Cave Creek AZ

Been taking our doggo to Partners for the last 4 years for daycare and training and have seen a large improvement in her behaviour. The staff is friendly and caring and we absolutely love the Report Cards and photos we get each visit. Very satisfied with this service.

Our dog loves Partners and they love him.even though he can be a bit of a handful! Our little dude is fear aggressive, so it makes it extra hard for us to board him. The trainers at Partners are well equipped to deal with behavior issues. If we were to kennel him anywhere else, he would be relegated to spending the entire time completely away from people and other dogs. At Partners, they work hard to socialize him. We are so thankful that Gus has such a great home away from home!

I was a little apprehensive leaving my puppy in spite of knowing this was a much needed step. The daily report cards with pics and vids was the best for my heart! She always looked happy and the staff genuinely loved her. I felt my needs were heard and Lillie is easily demonstrating all that she has learned. Best investment into my dog's future!

We enrolled our puppy in Cave Creek Partner's Doggie Daycare and decided to get the puppy training sessions too. We have been very happy with the entire facility and program. Our pup loves going, and the daycare trainers are very sweet and conscientious. We love getting daily report cards and photos of our pup in action. Our little girl comes home exhausted and very satisfied.

We are also very happy with the 4 week obedience training we did too. Our 7 month old toy poodle is very rambunctious and energetic. She is eager to play and loves to socialize. The puppy training sessions allow for playtime and social interaction while they also serve as an introduction to a more in-depth program that Partner's offers. Our trainer for those sessions was Monica. She is wonderful. She has a bubbly personality and is very approachable. My pup loves her!

Because the intro session was helpful, we decided to enroll our pup in the next level 8 week obedience classes. We think we need them as much as she does! Probably the most important thing we learned at the obedience sessions is that training isn't just for the pup. The real training is teaching the pup owners how to command the attention of their pet. Consistency and follow-through are important parts of the session. All training done on site is just a small part of obedience training. Homework and practice are the components that will yield true results. We look forward to the next 8 weeks!

What is advertised is not the same as what my dogs received. 2 of my dogs became sick after boarding there. Dirt floors and rusty metal kennels are not sanitary.

I love Partners in Training! They really care about your fur babies and your own needs! I currently take my dog in for day camp!

Very knowledgable in dog training. Partners is very patient with both dogs and their parents. Very pleased with our results.

Update:

It’s been a few weeks since Izzy left the board and train and her behavior has hardly improved. She still does all the exact same things she did before camp. Lunging at dogs, people, barking at everything, ignoring commands, etc. I’ve reached out to her trainer, but she gives me basic responses and no actual solutions to the problem. All she says is that my dog is “overstimulated. ” Great, so what’s the solution? Now, I’m not sure if maybe I’m not doing something right in the training process, but the reason for one star is because I basically have no guidance. And spending almost $5K on training, that’s something I’d expect. My recommendation, go with more experienced trainers.

Overall, I had a great experience with Partners. My dog’s trainers in the board and train were extremely nice and my dog learned a lot and seemed to have loads of fun from the pictures and videos I saw! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of Anita, the person that does the check in and out process. Personally, I don’t have an issue with her, but my dog does not like her at all. On Izzy’s last day, we did a transition session and she growled and cowered away from Anita. Izzy is NOT an aggressive dog and wants pets from literally everyone, so that struck me as odd. Apparently she yelled at Izzy for barking at her, but I’m a little concerned about that. I do not agree with yelling at dogs, as they do not understand what that means. There are much better ways to correct a dog. Other than that, I enjoyed my experience with everything and I’m sure Izzy did too!

A great place for training and boarding. My husband and I always feel at ease every time we travel and leaving Huckleberry with them. The staff are always welcoming and accommodating. A top notch place to have your dog stay because they will take care of our dog like their own.

Zip loved running and playing with all the dogs today. He has been going to Partners for several years and the great trainers have helped him deal with his anxiety. Thanks guys, he’ll see you next week!

No matter how challenging your issues with your dog, you can trust Partners to handle them. I've loved everyone we've worked with over there, from Anita with intake to Noa, who took our stubborn little Frenchie and trained her to be well-behaved. The communication throughout was excellent. The results are even better than we hoped for. We can't recommend Partners highly enough.

Arthur is a very different dog then when he arrived. He follows commands and is much calmer. I am very satisfied with the results.

The only thing I would have like more of is daily reports. I got them here and there but he had 3 sessions a day for 21 days and we got maybe 14 reports to our email. We did not start getting any until i called in 3 days after the start of the program requesting them. We were told we would get a report and pictures daily.

Great boarding and training facility for our fur baby. Our pup is always happy to arrive and chipper at pick up. I know he is well taken care of at Partners.

My husband and I have had a very good experience at Partners dog training. Our trainer Monica was great, very good with our dog Jake, and us! She gives 100%! We have learned so much and Jake is becoming a much better behaved dog.

Lillie had a blast and we are grateful that she is also getting some training while there. She loves playing with the other dogs and just started walking on the treadmill which was really cute!

My dogs love going to Partners! They always come home happy. We love the pictures we get while they're boarded there. Highly recommend!

Andrew was very helpful and provided good insight and training tips starting with calming my dog down who barked through our entire hour. Once she is calmer using his suggestions, we will proceed with building on training options.
