Paul Martin's American Grill, Scottsdale AZ

Very welcoming, accompdating, and the server goes out of their way to answer your questions about wines and menu entrées. Very knowledgeable about their menu items all the way to desserts. We have eaten at Paul Martin's three times since our move to AZ just a year ago and have never been disappointed. It is well worth the 45 minute drive from the west valley.

I thought this restaurant was fantastic. Very nice and fun atmosphere. The brussel sprouts are fantastic and you must get that butter cake. By the way my filet mignon with lump crab was cooked perfectly.

Absolutely exquisite food! I had the veggie burger with a side salad and it was deluxe. My mom ordered the ribs which were delicious! I also had the butter cake for dessert and it was decadent. Extremely friendly staff! The manager actually came to our table randomly and comped our desserts. Excellent restaurant!

I judge based off of food. We had a hummus appetizer and biscuits. They weren't good. I ordered the halibut and asparagus and although it had a good taste, my fish was really overcooked. I was disappointed, especially for how expensive it is. The service was good.

Big fan, especially of the happy hour in the bar area. Plenty of room, enthusiastic service, reasonable prices. Can't comment on the standard lunch/dinner, haven't had them. But if you're looking for a nice after work stop that's not too crowded, this is it.

Great food selection of high end American haute cuisine. Moderate to high pricing, service was a let down as it was slow and inattentive.

Terrific food, service, and atmosphere. Next time I go there, I'm thinking about making a meal out of just the appetizers.

If you're craving a nice steak cooked perfectly this is the spot. I had a filet mignon and it didn't disappoint. Tender and cooked to perfection.

Update: We have visited a few times over the past year or so…the food and service here are excellent!

Stumbled into this place by accident. We were supposed to eat at the neighboring restaurant but Paul Martins looked better. Very happy we stopped in. This place is a gem. The brick chicken is excellent. The staff was very welcoming, and the restaurant was very clean. Will definitely be back.

Great place! Our waiter was wonderful, and the food was really good as well. I had the spicy chicken sandwich, and my coworker had a burger. Big portions at a fair price. Sister restaurant to Flemings, located across the street. High quality!

December 2022 Update.
I used to come every month, often several times a month.
It's been a year. I came back to see if they have the PORK CHOP back on the menu.
Nope.

So.we will check again in another year.

Went to lunch with my family a couple of weeks ago. AJ, our server (also the bartender) was AMAZING! She was patient, attentive, kind, friendly, makes a MEAN Manhattan (thanks girl!) and helped my grandmother (who isn't from the US) navigate the menu. The food was delicious (thank you, Chef), the atmosphere was great - all in all I would absolutely come back for the food AND the service. Thank you! PS The Butter Cake. Even if you don't have room for dessert.yes you do.

My first time here. Our server was training a new server and both were very nice & friendly. The atmosphere is perfect for date night, quiet.
I got the Country fried NY strip recommended by my date. It was cooked as expected.
I will definitely be back to try the braised short ribs.

Last night we had a group dinner in the private room. The food was delicious and food service excellent! Thanks Makayla & AJ!

Paul Martin Restaurant in Scottsdale what an Amazing & Exceptional team! I am from out of town and planning a rehearsal dinner for my son. The task alone in finding a restaurant is challenging in its self! That alone is nerve racking because since this is your first born son getting married you want to have it to be perfect! Anthony, the manager was so great to work with! I have never worked with a restaurant Manager that was so flexible & accommodating! Things change constantly down to the wire and it was never a problem!
The staff were outstanding professionals! The food was so delicious and the menu’s were such a nice added touch with there names and custom verbiage. As you know wedding weekends can be very stressful, that comes with a lot of anxiety and anticipation of what’s to come! My Guest and I arrived and we were all so impressed on the decor, the space and design. The day was perfect for the patio event, which felt very private, it did not feel like a patio it felt like a private room with its own entry! We had some special request with a couple family members needs and it was handled with care! All of the Guest commented on how nice the staff was, they gave us white glove service. It truly was a perfect day! Thank you Anthony the manager, Stacy & Aj for taking care of my family with such Amazing care! Bravo

I came here w a large party for me sisters birthday and let me tell you, everyone was satisfied.the Cajun BBQ Shrimp was very tasty.

Great dinner experience. They accommodated a large group for a corporate event. Everything went perfectly. Great service. Food was incredible. Ambiance was nice. We sat next to the outdoor area. Got to enjoy Scottsdale in October. Couple of insider tips: The Paloma on the cocktail menu has chilis in it. If that sounds like a problem to you, skip it. AND, don't get the special. Whatever it is. Just order stuff from the regular menu. My food was cooked perfectly, and was delicious, but it came out looking like small plate, tapas and I was disappointed I didn't explore the normal menu more.

The food was not the Paul Martin's that I have experienced in the past. We were disappointed and so were our guests. We won't be going back.

The Deviled Eggs. Worth it all. The delicious chicken fries NY Strip with peppercorn gravy? Ok. That too! Our server, Stephen, was fantastic and the setting was perfect. Highly recommend.
