Paulene's Nails, Tucson AZ

I had been goin to same salon for 15 years, until they stopped listening to what I wanted. I was pleasantly suprised with my pedi, it was fast, and very nice. I think I have found new salon.

I treated my wife and I to pedicures and she got herself the manicure. My wife felt the work the young man who did on her pedicure was outstanding. It still looks good two weeks later. But, the woman who did her manicure was not of the same quality. The same woman also did my pedi. She twice nipped my skin while trimming my large toenails. She also scraped the back of my foot above the heel with her metal skin exfoilator. I had to wear bandaid for 2 days afterwards.

So my mom and I have been coming to this shop for years. We haven’t been any where else after finding this nail salon! We never have had a problem with them at all, all the girls here are super nice and very funny! The man that works there is a lil more serious and uptight but still a hard working good man! I always change it up with my designs and details. I always have pictures to show them and they always do that design! Recently got my sister in law coming here and she lives on the south side of Tucson and now she is hooked! She doesn’t go any where else for anything, ONLY HERE! My husband recently needed his feet done and told me after that was the best he has ever gotten and doesn’t wanna go anywhere else! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Not worth the money, they aren’t big on customer service. Came here since I was on this side of town. Kevin messes up with the gel on my nails and blamed me. Then I ask for something with my pedicure and was told no. So If you want a subpar, overpriced and disappointing nail experience this is the place. Hard pass. A monkey would provide better service. Tacky.

Got a full set, showed them a picture with the design I wanted. They only gave me the bad colors and not the actual design I wanted and charged me for the whole thing. The nails have absolutely no apex and feel so flimsy. The shaping was awful as well! Worst $80 spent. She also got acrylic all over my fingers! The nail tech was very nice I can’t complain about that but I won’t be back!

I have been going to Paulines for over a year. A great place to let the girls pamper your feet and hands. Chi is my go-to gal. Clean, sanitized and relaxing.

I called and made an appointment. It was the first and last I will go there. Over the phone I asked the price for a regular non gel pedicure and a gel manicure so the man said $29 for the pedi with no gel and 30 for the manicure.when I arrived the person at the front reception area was rude he did not say much except in a rude tone ok pick your color. I went to see what they had and the woman that took me to get the pedi done was nice at the beginning she offered an addition of pedicure with a price on the pamphlet. I asked if that was aside of the pedicure price and she said yes. I let her know maybe next time because it was another $45, $50, or more of your choice plus the regular pedicure very overpriced. As she did my pedicure I noticed that as soon as people would come in she was distracted and it was a rushed pedicure (half way done and not like I have had them in other places). When she apparently was done one of my toes she didn’t do a very good polish job. After that I was told to go sit down for my manicure. I was looking at the prices while I sat there and it all was different from what I was informed over the phone so I calculated and thought well it’s still not so bad. She was filing and cut my pinky side a very small cut but it bled and I asked twice if I can get something for that. She ignored me both times. She asked to go wash my hands. When I returned the cut burned so I asked her again. She answered rudely I am and she put a powder on it that I was not sure what it was so I assumed it was for cuts because it stopped hurting. She continued and did a nice job on one hand although another couple came in and she was distracted on my other hand again. I did not notice until I left but one of my thumbs had a thicker line on the polish at the tip than the other and for tops she charged $75 and I didn’t have much cash but this is the only salon that takes cash tips so they don’t get taxed. I asked if it can come out of my card and rudely she told me go to bashes to change. I was upset by then so I pulled a $20 to tip her but she made me upset and I told her I need the fifteen back otherwise I would have tipped more. She did not deserve it. As a new customer I rather find a better place. I will continue to search until I find a good professional and respectful business. Thank You to the readers that understand why good customers are
lost. I as well want to add that the polish was supposed to be a gel manicure and it did not last at least a week. I’m so upset now because it’s very poor quality gel polish and not enough layers because the lady was in a rush! …WOW bad service!

Quick and affordable. They also don't charge extra to take off gel polish. Kids mani pedis are also a great price and they were so sweet with my daughter.

Very good customer service, me and my oldest daughter got dip nails and they did a very good job and my other little girl got her nails and feet painted we love how them came out, we will be back forsure.

So I pay for my girl to go in for a full set, and she comes out telling me that the guy there askes her how long she wants them, and they end up short. So she brings up the length, the guy goes to the back, starts working on a new set while soaking off the set he just did. In total he charges for both sets and more. I told my lady go order me a kit on Amazon because at this point they've messed up your set so many times I could have paid for that kit three times and more. Not going back to these guys again and honestly if I even find out that guy got a hint of a tip I'm canceling the credit card.

Kevin does amazing work I'm very happy with Kevin's work but Tina has almost caused me not to return this was a PAINFUL experience and my nails are bumpy, soar and not what I asked for if Kevin's not in that building I will never get my nails done here. Nice nail bar. Got gel though and it peeled in a week and a half, for the price couldn't expect much else.

I always go her for gel pedicures. They have a large selection of colors and the staff is very friendly/accommodating. It is rather easy to get an appointment, almost always same day. I have done walk in appointments frequently as well without issue. They updated the salon a few years ago and it is always clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

I got right in for an appointment staff was very friendly and facilty was beautiful and clean. The guy he did my nails did an amazing job I never got ombre nails before and was so excited and he met all my expectations in length cut and blending quality. The price was perfect as well. I will be going back again and again!

Absolutely the worst place I have ever been too. The staff was disrespectful to my pregnant mother who went there to celebrate her birthday. They started to yell and toll there eyes simply because she said her nail was not straight. They didn’t have rhinestones and said they will not do my nails like how I had asked and she got up and walked away. I have never been more disappointed by humanity as I was today.

I recently moved here from South Dakota where believe it or not they have amazing nail techs everywhere. I have been searching for a great nail salon with no luck. All I've had since moving here are terrible experiences until I found this place! I was so relieved. Not only do they do a fantastic job and really care about quality services I was floored by the reasonable price. I am so happy with my nails I wanted to weep. I finally found the salon I will be coming back to again and again!
