Paul's Ace Hardware, Scottsdale AZ

It was a clean store where all the workers had masks on. They were also friendly and attempted to help me find my items. We were not successful as they didn't have it but I appreciate the assistance.

Nice location. Quick to get some small Stuff.
Little overpriced compared for same product when compared to other hardware store.

So I brought the last two door hook hangers to the register. They rang up 18.99. I told the lady they were 4.99. She called a manager and he walked back to aisle 10 with me. The price not only said 4.99 but there was an actual picture of the door hangers. He seemed to get angry. “ I said, “I saw the price and the picture” He said. “Well, I‘m looking at the skew, not the picture. ”
(Really? Should we check your skews?)
Then, in a exasperated tone he said “ I can give you a discount but I’m not going to give it to you at this price. ” I said, “Ok. I’ll go to Target, I should’ve just gone there in the first place. ”
It’s a small store with inflated prices and honestly, it’s only my second time in an Ace. I can’t believe with a sales tag and a picture of the product, they can try to charge more.what kind of stocking practice and inventory system are they using? Are your skews generally wrong?
Disgusted that the manager was a jerk but also disappointed that the big box store wins again.

I am truly a fan of Paul’s! I loved this family owned “mom and pop shop! ” They always carried everything I was looking for and would go above and beyond for me, every time! They have great services, referrals, and completely awesome staff! All my TO-DO lists were accomplished with ammo to spare! Jared Redding (store manager) was awesome, he was professional and felt like family, rare for any store manager! This little shop is my one time stop, I love this little Ace! I highly recommend Paul’s Ace Hardware, I’ve never been so addicted to a hardware store! This store just keeps getting better and better!

ACE is the place. I love Paul's Ace Hardware. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great place to go for hard to find things.

EXCELLENT Customer Service. They price match and are a local business and all of us need to support our local businesses as much as possible. I did mention that they price matched Walmart right?

My GO TO place when I need to get some home tasks out of the way. I depend on the employees to know the products they sell.

This store is awesome. We live around the corner and walked in after having dinner out. The manager and staff were so nice and friendly. They have a nice selection and lots of great tools at good prices. We only bought a few things but will definitely be back!

First time there to do a 20 lb.propane exchange. Both employees I interacted with there were great.

Great place to shop, a little pricier than Home Depot, but the excellent service is the best. They don’t hesitate to special order anything you need and returns are easy, with no hassle. Try them. You will love them.

I think the employees are helpful there when you walk in, but the people who check you out may be on drugs or something

I have been to this location many times at this point so have had the opportunity to check out most of the departments.

They do have a bit of everything within reason for a smaller hardware store. Good for the last minute needs or the oops I forgot something at one of the warehouse stores.

The one section I was disappointed with was sprinklers. Selection is very limited however they do have many of the plumping type parts and a full compliment of PVC plumbing fittings.

The paint department also had what I needed although I was not able to get the 9ft tape film I was looking for but all in all I have been able to grab most of the things I have needed.

They also have a small number of power tools, drill bits, saw blades, etc.

Not to be left out, the nuts, bolts and screws section is fairly large although you won't find the specialty items found at one of the big box stores.

I will say it has been hit and miss with staff. Not that anyone is not friendly or helpful when available but there have been a number of times where help is tough to come by.

All in all they do come in handy and are close by so worth stopping in.

I love this store! I highly recommend talking with a sales associate and explaining your project, they usually have a couple of ideas to make your project even easier.

Best service from the most knowledgeable and courteous employees in a store that has the best selection and availability of whatever you need. My favorite hardware store in the Valley of the Sun.

Very well stocked. From lumber, nuts & bolts, electrical, plumbing, paints, adhesives, tools, and much more. Even replaced the battery in my wife's car fob. Always helpful employees if you need it. My go to place.

Do you ever realize how hard it is to find a good place to get your car, gardening, painting, excetera excetera needs. Rather than having to go to Walmart, Homebase, or drive around all over Scottsdale to look for that's a can of spray paint, with a fan tip, what you can never find, these guys have a full variety of every kind of paint car or otherwise you can look for. The staff is helpful, and they are across the street from our condos. Within walking distance off Frank Lloyd Wright. Who would have ever guessed that's right here around the corner from me. Ace Hardware is the place to go to get all your stuff guaranteed
