Paychex, Phoenix AZ

Since COVID, with the majority, if not all, of their employees working from home, the customer service is awful. All of the reviews that talk about emails and phone calls not being returned are accurate of the service you can expect from Paychex. Paychex used to be awesome.now they are AWFUL! If you are shopping for a payroll service provider and you want good customer service, don't bother with Paychex!

A+ for Cindy peck and her team at paycheck they make life a lot easier on us at Stewart pool plastering we appreciate there business!

Very disappointed with my experiences with this company so far. My "Payroll Specialist" is never in the office and even when she is does not return phone calls, her manager also doesn't believe in returning phone calls.

GMG curbing in landscaping and myself would like to thank you for such a professional and courteous agent Cindy Peck, she is the best, we enjoy working with her, she goes beyond the call of duty and we appreciate her.

I applied at this location for an insurance job a month ago and I should have read these reviews first. Miss Black interviewed me on location and that was the last time I had any contact with this company. I understand we all get busy but who would want to work for someone that can't even send you a little email a phone call heck even a letter to say thanks for applying we have chosen other candidates. That's what people that care do.

So many mistakes have happened this past year since we got a new payroll specialists. My payroll wasn't processed once (on a holiday weekend! So really delayed!). I've had 3 employees paychecks messed up. You fax them paperwork and they say they never get it. It's a headache. I spend more time than I should analyzing my payroll and fixing mistakes. It's exhausting. I have my employees look at their pay stubs carefully every pay period to check for mistakes.

SLOWEST company out there to release W-2s here it is January 21st and no W-2 out yet for my company. Yeah I get it you have until the end of the month but ADP had theirs out the first week of the month of the new year, I don't recommend this company at all!

This company has continually make mistakes for my company's payroll. It is a constant headache. I am feeling force to get direct deposit but because I completely do not trust this company here in Phoenix, AZ. I refuse to give them my account info.

We are very appreciative of the amazing service that we get with Paychex! Daniel has always been available to answer any questions that we have and Marleah is our representative that helps with insurance and is also very helpful! We would definitely recommend them to others!

This company is a JOKE! They overcharge you thinking you will not notice. Their turnover rate is INSANE! You have a new "specialist" every other time you run payroll. They can not follow simple, detailed instructions. The "Supervisors" are just as "skilled" as the "specialists" DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! The company is full of CROOKS AND MORONS!

They are always there with a solution for any issue regarding my payroll processing. I have never had any problems with this company. They have been taking care of our payroll for about 10 years.

Everyone that we have worked with has been very responsive to our needs. We switched to Paychex over a year ago and have been very happy with the service. We use them for payroll, but they have introduced us to a number of other services that we don't need right now.

Used them for a year for payroll services for a small business. They processed payroll for us for TWO people - one of those people was only processed once a month. We were constantly passed around to different payroll specialists, I had to explain to each new one what they were supposed to do, they overcharged us for half of the year that we used them, and now finishing up our taxes I'm coming across multiple mistakes. So incredibly frustrating, I suppose I should have paid closer attention but then what was the point of even using them then? Pay them to babysit them is what we should have done. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Oh yeah and to have them still call me and try to sell me services that I've already denied while I was their customer. That was a lot of fun - not even just a friendly email saying "hey, just a reminder we still offer these services too" - pushy sales calls with people trying to strong-arm me into meeting up with them. Absolutely ridiculous.
