PeopleReady, Gilbert AZ

This review is in regards to a project I originally accepted on 10/7/2020. After arriving at the job site (a holiday Inn parking lot) I attempted to call the point of contact with the number provided on the job ticket (no other instruction was provided on the ticket) After several failed attempts, I contacted the office and was informed they had made a mistake and the project was for 10/8/2020. I was compensated for my time as long as I agreed to arrive at the job site the following day. I agreed. After arriving the next day, I again made several failed attempts to contact the point of contact. I then contacted the office and was relayed to a third party call center in Chicago! Because no one was available in the Gilbert office. Two individuals in the Chicago relay center attempted to contact the office and point of contact to no avail. I was then reassured I would be compensated for my time spent both days. Later in the afternoon, I was contacted by the office and told they were in meetings that morning and unable to answer the phones. I was then again reassured I would be compensated for the first wasted day and that they would 'figure' out the second wasted day compensation. This morning (10/9) I called the office to ask about the last two days compensation and was told I woild be compensated for the first wasted day, but not the second! Payment for my time should not be withheld due to the lack of organizational skill of the gilbert office staff!

Very unprofessional staff and unfair to workers. So I signed up for a job with them and the job DID NOT say to call in on the app and even gave me an electronic work ticket. I accepted the job with the app and then arrived on time to the work site the next day. Later I find out that the person at peopleready had taken me off the ticket because she said she could not contact me by phone. My phone wasn't working so of course I could not answer. So I was already at the job site and had gotten ready to work when she said she already sent another person. That person arrived 20 minutes late and the person at peopleready didn't even offer an apology or even pay for arriving. So I did my part and I got nothing in return plus wasted my time. The boss over there even asked her to let me stay, but she insisted the other person work there. These people run the place like a bunch of chickens with their head cut off. They are not organized at all. This is the last time I will ever work for them. Go somewhere else if you can to get work. These guys will short change you on this and that and treat you like your less than them

I called to find out how to begin the process, being I am in a different state. The woman was so rude I will not do business here. She did not understand a question I had, thinking she did, she said " I literally just told you that, what else can I help you with? " this is my first impression with AZ.

LAME. Most of the workers work like snails. Complain and talk to other workers. Im done with company. Labor systems had some of their workers on same jobsite. Rep from Labor systems came out passing out Gatorades to their employees. Never has People Ready Staff come do that. Wont even let me use my sick time and have documents from urgent care, Doctor

Great place to go for career opportunitys and for hard workers! The staff here are outstanding, professional, and hard-working. If you have the drive to actually want to work, this is your place.

Ana is Extremely rude she Dosent help at all and she makes fun of people and all she answers is “SO” O well I think they sould Terminate her and put a friendly person who can help us she is one of the most rude persons I have ever talk to I think they sould really have a talk with that person.

The staff at this location was amazing and helped with the process with ease. I was sent out for a job the same day and was about to make money right away. A big thanks to Antwone for his extraordinary customer service skill and his help with the whole set up.

Do not try working through this So-called people ready. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. They were very rude to my old sick ill mother who was there in support of me because I worked a 9hr day and did not get paid. If I could put 0 stars then I would. Please respect yourself enough to go elsewhere.

Avoid dealing with Anna! I called in to ask general info.about their services and was rudely directed to their website for further assistance. Anna Kelley is the manager.not sure if it is the same person I spoke to over the phone. Looking for job assistance? GO ELSEWHERE.

PEOPLEREADY is a great employer and still working out of this (1209) Gilbert Office since early 2011. ANNA KELLEY - Branch Manager and CHAD - Customer Service Representative are very professional, great attitude, and provide safe working environment to all employee's. If you come in and accept the jobs they offer, you'll get what you're looking for, from Daniel Randall, Jr.

Such an AWESOME place to come for daily work. Safe place to wait for a job I love this People Ready office. I find the staff at the Gilbert office More Helpful, Friendly, & Understanding. Can't really say that about the West Valley Office.

Anna (office manager) and her fat old mexican boyfriend that hands out the shovels runs the office, stated" I dont like working white guys". I couldnt believe what I heard.

I hope this place isn't as bad as some say it is. I'm white is that going to be a problem? Be straight with me pleas we are all people here.

My boyfriend has worked for them off and on for over 3 years and has gotten 2 full time jobs and is currently working out of town due connections he made through them, I think it depends how determined you are, my only negative is they should pay higher wages

My father has been going every day for a couple weeks and has only work 2 days. He asked them how they stay in business if they have no jobs to send people on and they said they are federally funded. They don't even care if they find you a job. I don't recommend going here, cause you have to sit and wait for hours in order to get a job and waste your whole day cause no one goes out.

Usually spent more time waiting for a job than working. If you have your own tools and plenty work experience in just about any construction field you'll have plenty of jobs but no tools and no experience kinda leaves you dry most days

Go to Tempe branch WAY BETTER trust me and thank me later yo. Garbage attitudes. No work. I have it 2 weeks went back to tempe.

I work with labor ready 3yrs ago.good to work for them.now I work for mine.they are good for references.they are very good people.when I have my 7day off of go over to labor ready work two day.im happy.
