This is an old location and surely needs updating. Hence 4 stars.

Rick and his team at Pep boys were a God sent. We drove 2 hours to PHX on a Friday afternoon to pick up someone from the airport and suddenly our car had several distressing brake alert messages. We called many places, but Rick at Pep boys were the only ones who could help us. We came in, were greeted by the friendly team, who even lended us a charger for our phone. The alert messages turned out to be an error in the ABS system, which meant we could drive home that night! Amazing team and service!

Great customer service! They were able to squeeze me in for a tire repair due to a nail. They were more than helpful and everyone was helpful and nice! Highly recommend!

Bringing my vehicle in for the 3rd time for the same issue, I dropped it off at 9am. About 3, I finally get the call that they identified the issue and I gave to OK to work on it. At 6: 30pm I started calling since I haven't heard anything. No one answers, and apparently they don't have a voicemail either. The phone just rings and rings until it eventually disconnects. I'm currently carless and unable to find out what is going on. No one informed me that my vehicle would need to stay overnight. I'm really unhappy right now

I usually go to the dealership for maintenance but opted to try Pep Boys since I just needed an oil change. I had a 1pm appointment and there was a little issue with my maintenance. Rick came to speak to me personally and went above and beyond to address the issue as soon as it arose; keeping me in the loop the entire time. In all my years I’ve never encountered such an amazing level of customer service. Rick showed genuine empathy and concern for valuing my time and my needs. I’m 100% using this location for my services going forward. Thank you Rick! And thank you Andres for doing such a speedy and efficient service on my car. You two guys are definitely my go-to’s!

There can't be any star. DO NOT GO THIS PLACE. THEY LIED AND JOB NEVER DONE TO MY CAR. I drooped my car for wheel alignment. After and hour or so i received call that my car is ready to pick up.i asked for report and invoice. The Lady on front desk told me she does not have report and she can't print it again.then i asked about invoice and she also said she can not print it again.i talked to the guy who was supposed to do repair he said she can print and give it to you.i asked her again and she said my printer is suddenly not working and she asked my email and phone.i went inside again and i saw she did printed invoice for another customer.then she took 15-20 min created new job and i received text same time and then printed the invoice for me and in invoice it is written that customer declined to provide email and no detail about job. Basically the alignment never done to my car and she lied to me.

Horrible store! Set an appointment they couldn't honor it for an inspection and they told me to come in whenever? So I came back two times befrore they could help me. They told me they do'n't make any money on inspections Like I am supposed to care what they make? Rick and Andy are useless neither should be helping people they have zero people skills and clearly don't know cars. Go elsewhere for you auto needs period. I will never come back to that store.

This is the worse pep boys around the valley the lady Gale at the front desk is the worse when it’s comes to communication but she’s always on her personal phone when you come in, you can call and call the shop phone and she will never pick up, had my Chevy Astro van there for weeks getting work done on it keep in mind it’s my work vehicle I get no updates from her or the automated system call a million times to the store no answer so I WALK to the store just to find out she has closed the store down her self with a paper sign on the door just because her daughter that’s old enough to drive and old enough to take care of her self then car was broken down, WHAT ABOUT ALL THE CUSTOMERS CARS?
Then when I finally get the van back 1500 dollars later I literally drive out of the parking lot and it’s breaks down again, (luckily I turned into the neighborhood and not right onto Scottsdale rd) because then I would of been in a accident for sure because the van was getting no acceleration after supposedly the did the fuel pump! I could of been seriously injured and others as well from the neglect of GALE! I don’t think they test drove my vehicle at all before giving it back to me now I have my van at another pep boys and she still is giving them a hard time letting them know what work has been done and never picking up the phone still to resolve this she’s horrible and should be fired for this

I visited this business twice. Different days. Both days I walk in and the lady is on her phone. When I asked her for help she looks at me like I’m stupid both days. As if I was inconveniencing her from the job she’s paid to do. Horrible customer service. Do not visit this location. And to top that it is run down and has a weird layout.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Worst place to take a vehicle to get it fixed because it will NOT get fixed. The customer service is by far the worst I've ever expierenced and the people there have NO idea what they are doing. Waste of time and money.

I called yesterday, made an appointment for an alignment on my Sequoia, no hassle, dropped my car off for an alignment at 8am this morning and had it back by 9am. Easy peasy.
Everyone was friendly and professional.

Brandon was super understanding about our card not working. He let us run to the bank and come back to pay him. Definitely a place to go

Brought in vehicle for alignment. Pep Boys mechanic drove my company ADA van for personal use, they filled it with 10 tires and took it to the other PEP BOYS. This is a commercial vehicle. I noticed this since I have GPS tracking on all my vehicles. Don't trust these guys. URI promised a full interior detail reimbursement and went back on his word. Will be following up with legal team on this matter. I have GPS tracking of the vehicle being driven around and a picture when I tracked the vehicle down.

The people who work here only care about charging as much money as possible to people who are down on their luck.

I am from Virginia, visiting my son in Scottsdale. Brandon was very professional & got me in immediately to repair a flat on my son’s BMW X3M. Other local establishments told me 6-8 hr wait. Mechanic Andy did a very professional repair and explained to me what he was doing along the way. This place was truly awesome and I will have my son come back whenever needed. Thank you Brandon and Andy, you are the best!

Should be no stars but it's not an option.

My wife went there with a flat tire at 6pm and they don't close until 7pm. There were 3 guys just standing around vaping and not working. There were no cars in any of the work bays. My wife went in to see if they could plug her tire. She was told that they couldn't help her but if she came back tomorrow at noon they could. She asked why no one was working if they didn't close until 7pm. She was told they weren't going to start anything else tonight.

I will never use Pep Boys again or recommend them to anyone. I am so disappointed in those guys that would not help a woman in distress. Is that what this world has come to? Lazy and uncaring people.
