Pep Boys, Prescott AZ

First time leaving a bad review - paid for tire rotation and oil change, double checked oil levels after leaving, and found that the service had never been completed.

Service was excellent. Needed new headlight, and they were able to get me in quickly. Friendly technician and desk associates

I was able to drop my car off at 9am and pick it up by 3pm which was nice. I got an oil change and tire rotation but also needed one of the terminals on my battery replaced since it was loose and I would completely (and randomly) lose power while driving, they told me they fixed it for no charge. The next day while I was driving down the highway, I lost power to my vehicle, this was really scary because I was 3 lanes away from the shoulder. Thankfully no one ran into me and I was able to pull over and jump start my car. I love Pepyboys so I will be taking it back. This is the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars.

I had several visits with this place. My 1st was to just get an oil change and from there it went down hill. They proceeded to tell me there was a nail in my tire and that it was non repairable. I now know that was not true. However, at the time I did need new tires so I bought new tires that were on sale. Well on a recent trip back from Phoenix I heard air draining from one of my new tires. I could see where it was coming from and it looked like a nail. I called Pep Boys and was told as long as it’s in the tread it should be fine to fix free of charge. WRONG! Bobby calls me and pulls out the “well bad news you need another new tire because it’s a little bigger than a quarter of an inch. It was a razor blade “. And low and behold when we got there, what did we see fall onto the shop floor? Razor blades. These people are scammers. If you have done business with them they owe you your money back that they stole from you.

I spoke at length with a staff member about buying one tire from them, and everything was arranged with my name and phone number. When I got to the store, I was greeted by a rude man who told me there was "no way" I could get the tire I had called about for the price quoted me. It's one thing to have to pay 50.00 more than other places, but to be accused of lying is another. I will never go to this Pep Boys again. The staff at Prescott Valley Pep Boys are helpful and professional; they should train this location's team

Says the store is open on Sundays till 5 pm. We were from out of town drove there just to find out it was closed.

Pep boys has been the nicest in the most trusting place I've been they used to be formerly known as Goodyear I've been with them since 1998 through 2020 that's how long my family's been with them and we won't go anywhere that's how trusting they are and how nice

Great service, got me in late on a Saturday afternoon. Even though they were preparing to close. Best price around.

Every visit I am treated with respect and kindness. The staff is competent, they fully explain my automobiles needs and I feel the cost is very fair. Thank you Pep Boys, you do everything for less

The guys that work there are always helpful and more than willing to explain the work they do in detail. It does seem like every time I am there, they have computer problems.

They were quick to find out what problems the car had and they're quick to get it done. Fair price. Only had to return once out of multiple services to get something addressed. Still they were quick, courteous and there was no charge

I came in looking to replace my tires. I had had a bad experience with my dealership not calling me back with follow-ups (when a part would come back in stock, etc) and when I asked them to look into my 3rd party tire plan, they kind of shrugged me off, so I was feeling pretty DONE with them and looking elsewhere to replace my tires. So, Pep Boys!

I walked in and Jared was nice and very professional. Told him about my tire plan and how to call them and such so I could make sure it was covered. He had never worked with them before, but was committed to figuring it out with me - already 10000% better than the customer service at my dealership! He called, we figured out what was and wasn't covered, he had to take pictures, and fax them, and do a little extra paperwork so my tires were covered, and then made sure that I was set up with affordable, quality tires so that the remainder I had to pay wouldn't break the bank.

I had another issue that I wasn't able to do today due to finances, but he had the service bay look into it and got me an estimate and a general explanation of the issue. I felt like my issues *mattered* to Jared, and I wasn't just a service number on a key fob, and I will DEFINITELY be coming back in to fix my other issue in the future.

Oh, and he made sure I didn't forget my water bottle on his desk. Jared is truly the MVP.

Just had the Boys Put a Set of Cooper Tires all around my RV Got 8 for the price of 6 While I waited in the Relaxing Guest room. Great Service and Price Thanks guys for your awesome service

Friendly but didnt tell me at the place that my engine light was on which other places usually send a full smartphone friendly image of all parts of service on my car

Had an 8 a.m. Appointment to get four new tires.did not get out of there until 2 in the afternoon
