This is the place to go if you want true customer service. They know what they are doing, they are quick and efficient.

Im glad they would be upfront about the issues they found and would ask what would like to be done on my part, so things werent charged without my knowledge.

Came in with a tire losing air fast. Manager that day blew me off.said I hafta make an appointment 2 DAYS from now. I was 20 miles from home, and my husband was in Texas. This guy put enough air in my tire to "get you to the next tire place down the road. " Can't believe it. Last time I went there, I bought $800+ dollars' worth of a new set of tires for my truck. Never again.

Doug was great help. I was worried about noise in the car and he came out and told me that there is nothing wrong actually with the noise. I thought to get car service and advise him to check into other issues. His tech did a fantastic job in doing service and finding issue. All these things were done very effectively. Keep it up Doug and Carlos. I appreciate it.

Note: this was last hour of the work day when people are normally ending their shift so seeing this effectiveness by Pepboyz admin and tech was simply amazing. Good news is that we are now a mile away from them so we are coming back.

So I went in to Pep Boys and checked in for my 9 o'clock appointment. Told them that I was driving for Uber and that I got a price for a $174 and some change. For a wheel alignment and also oil change. As he was inspecting my car he noticed that the front wheels were worn. He tells me that I need new wheels in order to do a wheel alignment. Never have heard of that. So I went back home. So after doing my research on Google it turns out that you do need new tires to do will alignment. Go figure. Still wasted my time.

I was able to schedule my appointment the same day I discovered I needed service. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Services are well priced.

They did a good job in a timely manner but pretty expensive for an oil change. Front desk service writer was a nice guy.

First off i live 3 1/2 hours from the closest Pepboys and madean apps at the pepboys in suprise for 8: 00 am then needed to change and couldn't so I made 2 appts for Pepboys for my mother and i starting at 8: 30 am and the other at 9: 00 at the Pepboys on Guadalupe and Ellsworth in Mesa Az, got a text at 7: 30 am saying all there a.c. Equiptment was down so they cancelled my appt. I asked what location the guy said the one you made the appt at. Well i explained i made 1 at suprise location amd 2 at the Mesa location so i need to know which one was cancelled. Guy was rude would not tell me the location. So i called the Pepboys on Main and Sossaman in Mesa and was able to get appts for 8: 30 and 9: 30. At noon they told my mother they could not run the a.c. Test until she fixed various parts and it would be $1,000.00 to fix. My mom's appt was 8: 30 and at 12: 30,3 1/2 hours for later nothing done on her vehicle and they didn't put the caps back on the a.c. Lines. My mother is 70 years old. Taking advantage is an understatement. Then she still had to pay around $35.00 for a test they couldn't even preform. My appt was 9: 30 and I ordered the same test and was told I needed a liquid line. And the estimate was about $700-800. With the part being over $300. What? I got one for $80. And did it myself. But it took them from 9: 30-2: 30, yes 5 hours to tell me that. I was beyond mad. Then I get in my car to go get something to eat and notice that my gas tank is on empty. I had over a quarter of a tank before I went there and now my gas light was on. Whoever looked at my car just let it run while it was there. No discount for the first store canceling and us traveling so far or the rude tech. No discount for the hours spent to do nothing to both vehicles. And I had to dish out more money to get more gas. This place is awful. They ignore you. I constantly had to ask if there were any updates and let them know I had an appt at 1 that I missed. Also the Evans on the updates to your phone do not work or the techs font fill them out. Mine showed nothing. I also ordered my tire pressure monitto be reprogrammed or replaced and had to cancel because it took 5 hours for them to run the a.c. Test. Thanks Pepboys you guys are stellar. Worst place ever.

Update Pepboys just asked my to DM or email them, here is my response:

What a joke I am not going to DM or Email you Pepboys, what for? So you can try to get me to revise my review or take it down. No thanks. Your employees did not care
at two different locations about their customers which means that they are not receiving the correct training and it will happen again. What? Are you going offer to service my vehicle with a oil change? No, thanks, I do them myself. You going to totally fix my 70 year old mothers a.c. In her truck? Which your company told her over $1,000.00 then run the a.c. Test to see whats needed that you already charged her for and could not run? You going to fix all that for free In 1/2 a day? Cause there is no way I would drive another 4 hours for a Pepboys. That was my first and only experience with Pepboys and It's enough to never go back. My Name is clearly stated at the top and you have records in your store you could easily find my phone number and reach out to me, God forbid someone at that company does any work at all.

Brought vehicle on to diagnose humming noise and vibration. Tires had plenty of tread left but was told they were dry rotten and that was causing the issue. Picked the vehicle up and same humming and vibration when driving. I was than told it was wheel hub assembly. So had that done. Picked the vehicle up and again same issue. After $1600 in repairs told to bring it to transmission shop. Needs a transfer case. Basically I spent $1600 to be told it needs a $3000 transfer case or transmission work.

I've been coming to this Pep Boys for many years. I have to say I'm never disappointed. All the gentlemen are so respectful and very helpful. I definitely recommend this location. Thanks a million Pep Boys! Keep up the good work.

BEWARE
WARNING USING THIS PEP BOYS - I do not normally go to Pep Boys but on a Sunday and AC went out thinking it needed a recharge. After diagnostic, they tell me the AC is seized up and needed a compressor kit amongst other items to fix to get the AC working, the estimate was $1800+. Obviously I said NO, they charged me $54 for diagnostic. Took to my mechanic and no seized compressor, no metal shavings in the fluid, etc. So with my mechanic all it needed was a compressor replace and valve. Just $1000. These guys are scammers and would NEVER take my car to a Pep Boys. Totally wrong and to me it is criminal.
I would give Zero stars.

Absolutely incredible. Master tech JIM reversed so many issues with my car. I am recovering from a cash flow discrepancy and the expense of fixing my car terrified me.

JOE, the man who helped process everything in the office, understood the severity and urgency of a cost effective fix and gave me a discount so it would be possible to take care of everything today.

Then, they gave me lifetime warranties on the work so if anything ever goes wrong again, I know that it will be fixed immediately.

If you haven’t gone to PEP Boys, go now. Even if you think it’s not possible, they will work with you.

I have been burnt in the past as a single, young woman. Best decision I’ve ever made!
