I was referred to Colleen for color correction and reshaping of my eyebrows. She came highly recommended and did not disappoint! She is a true artist and master with colors, and an absolute perfectionist. During the consultation, she takes her time to truly listen to the client's desired outcome, and makes you feel completely comfortable before the permanent application begins. She is upfront and open in the healing process, so you know exactly what to expect. Trust the process and Colleen. She is the absolute best at what she does!

I cannot believe Colleen fixed my eyebrows. I would pencil in my eyebrows every morning before brushing my teeth. I had my eyebrows done multiple times but it would not take; continue to show areas of baldness when healed. Colleen fixed that. Thank you thank you Colleen!

I got my eyeliner tattoo’d by Colleen last week. I have a ton of medical issues and not only did she ask me about everything to make sure I would be ok for the procedure, she made sure I was comfortable and confident the entire time! I have a chronic pain condition and I can tell you that not only was it not that painful to get done, the pain I did have was little to nothing during the healing process. Colleen is the sweetest person, she answered any questions I’ve had, and thanks to her and her post-care directions; I have been healing beautifully with minimal issues. She made sure to do my eyeliner exactly how I wanted and didn’t have a ‘standard way of doing it’ like other places I had looked. I have gotten a ton of compliments on my ‘makeup’ and it has made getting ready in the morning (which is already a challenge some days) so much faster and easier. I will be going back soon for a little touch up here and there and sending everyone who compliments my ‘makeup’ her way!

You can stop searching. This is the place you want to get your permanent makeup done. I met with several different permanent makeup artists in Gilbert and they weren’t nearly as knowledgeable as Colleen. She takes her time and her work lasts. You won’t need to go in for touchup a every year. It’s been eight years since she first did my makeup. If Colleen moves I will follow her! I’m a life long client!

Colleen is very prompt, knowledgeable and was really accommodating of my crazy schedule. She is very easy to work with and very skilled. I got my brows done and then ended up going back to do my eyeliner and lip blend. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and having my permanent makeup has made my getting ready time almost nothing.

She has a consultation to go over what you are wanting and what to expect during the process. I was apprehensive about the pain, but she made sure the pain level was at a minimum during the process. I highly recommend AZ Makeup for any permanent makeup that you might want! The first thing that struck me about Colleen is how well she listened to what I wanted! I called all over and had many consults with different artists. Colleen stood out head and shoulders above the rest because I could tell she really cared about what I wanted from my permanent makeup. She took tons of time to draw everything on so I could see what it would look like. I knew I wanted both my eyeliner and brows done and they came out so beautifully! People cannot believe that my makeup is tattooed! The color took a little while to heal and relax (which Colleen explained thoroughly that that might happen), but it was so worth it! I’m now debating on doing my lips! Colleen does the best permanent makeup in Arizona! I cannot say enough about her and her work!

I’ve been seeing Colleen since she first started doing permanent makeup in Scottsdale and the reason why I chose her over other people is the simple fact that she is an artist. It was such a cool experience because she can look at you and can show you five different ways to wear your brows and eyeliner and they all look awesome! She gave me multiple choices for my brow color and shape and style of permanent eyeliner. We decided on a dark upper eyeliner with a subtle wing and lower lash enhancement for my eyes and a natural powdery brow just to give my brows a soft shape. It’s so nice because I can have my picture taken in any environment and my eyes show up. I don’t look washed out any more. Anyway, I can’t say enough about Colleen’s talent. Also, it didn’t even hurt! Definitely choose Colleen. You won’t be disappointed!

My permanent eyeliner tattoo experience was great! Colleen was very detail oriented and spent time to make sure I was getting the look I wanted. It's awesome to wake up with perfect eyeliner every morning now. All of my interactions with Colleen have been super friendly and pleasant.

Permanent makeup is something I've always wanted but just been hesitatnt to get it done. I’ve had friends get it done and it’s looked ok. I knew there had to be an excellent artist somewhere that could give me exactly what I wanted and finally I found Colleen! She is the best permanent makeup person in Arizona! She showed me some of the corrective work she’s done on past clients and I was sold. I knew if she could make ugly permanent makeup look that natural again she could easily create what I was wanting. Now I have my powder fill brows (which look so natural) and my eyeliner with a smudgey wing done. If you are picky like me wait until you find an artist like Colleen or just go see her! I live in west Phoenix and it took me over an hour to get to her office but it was so worth it!

It was a really excellent experience from beginning to end. Her office is super nice and clean. She’s very fun to work with. The appointment was long but it was easy because we watched a movie and she made sure I was very numb while she worked. I was really nervous about having it done but I’m so happy I did it! Colleen color corrected and reshaped my old ugly permanent brows. The old color was pink/purple and gray in some spots and asymmetrical. I went to multiple permanent makeup places and they told me I would have to get the old color laser removed and then start with a new tattoo. I looked into it and the laser places told me that lasering the color could make it worse! And I would have to do at least 5 sessions. I was so disheartened. I was so sad that I let someone inexperienced do my brows. I had no idea that someone could ruin my face like this. My hairstylist told me that Colleen specialized in color correction and I was super skeptical because everyone had told me that I had to have them lasered. Colleen said she could get them exactly the way I wanted in 1-3 sessions. It took 2 sessions and it barely hurt (especially compared to the first time I had them done) and they were perfect and natural looking again! I will never ever go anywhere else! Do not listen when people say you have to get bad work laser removed! Just go see Colleen!
