3This is the least pet-friendly pet store I've ever been in. The first time we went there, my older dog was collapsing on the floor from the heat outside and the poor girl helping us had to get a large cup of water for the dogs because they don't put water out for them. The second time, a different woman was there who was completely clueless about basic pet care concepts (like not walking dogs on hot pavement and what a leash hook is). She was weirdly proud (? !) that she didn't know what I was talking about and delighted in the fact that I was flustered. It's a specialty store, so they don't carry any usual brands, even the high end ones, and they have very little selection at the store for anything other than food or treats. I ended up driving to the closest PetSmart and spending a bunch of money there. I wouldn't recommend this store unless you have very specific pet food needs.
Love pet planet but wish they would carry Stella's kibble and dog joy bacon.
Very helpful & friendly staff. Knowledgeable in the products they sell for the fur-kids
