Petsense, Cottonwood AZ

Staff were friendly and helped me when I couldn't find what I needed. They didn't end up having the type of cat food I was searching for but they gave me a recommendation of where to go to find it in town.

Great local store in Cottonwood, well stocked and with lots of sale promotions throughout the store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Hi! I just witnessed quite a moment at the store. There had been a dog off leash and the young lady working had politely asked an older woman to please have her dog on a leash. That it is company policy. The older woman then became sarcastic and just down right rude. Initially, she did NOT mention her pet was in fact a service pet. She responded by telling the young lady that her dog would pay no mind to the other dogs. The young lady then responded with the same response that it is company policy. Eventually, it was then explained that the dog was a service dog the young lady apologized for asking her to please hold the leash of her dog. I would like to add the dog had the leash attached the entire time. The young lady continued to politely attempt to soothe the situation yet the older woman kept at her insulting nature! It was difficult to watch and I want to give praise to your employees for being spoken to in such a way and responding with good nature.

Dani trimmed my larger dogs nails and was so patient and gentle, did a great job, will be regularly requesting her for his care. Very helpfull and nice staff.

This store always has what we need. Very friendly service from I think her name is Shannon who works the front counter. She always remembers our dog and gives him a lot of attention. She helps find what would work best for him. Thank you for being so helpful and kind. From Rosco and family

Bought my sister's birthday present and needed supplies. Employees were ready to answer my questions and even able to give me different options on all products I questioned about! Love it here;

Always seem to have what I need and very kind, helpful staff. And their groomer is the first to trim both my dogs without one yelp. I was impressed!

Just went shopping for dog food for the second time since getting my new companion. Last time I was in it was buy two get one free. Young kid at the register said no regular price. So I got my cans and he rung them up and said these are buy two get one free. So I went and got two more cans brought in to the register and he said no these aren’t free. I said well make up your mind. He said oh it’s not me it’s the register. What? !?

Ashlyn, the groomer, is FANTASTIC! She has been grooming my dogs for the past few years. She is talented, patient and fantastic with my dogs. She obviously cares deeply for the dogs she grooms by the way she treats and speaks to them. I can't say enough good things about her! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am so grateful to find a store whose manager has broad knowledge of his products and has the integrity to share with his customers. Thank you Jordan! I'll be back and certainly will recommend you. It's the people who love pets who serve best.

My husband and I were fortunate to find this pet storewstore we were staying at a resort in Cottonwood Arizona. We hadjhad adopted a puppy from the humane society and stopped at Petsense to get food and supplies. The clerk named Jordan was absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond to explain things to us and give us suggestions. Thanks Jordan!

Best service possible, as I was walking to the door not realizing what time they closed, they held it open for me to get my bag of dog food. Even though they were technically closed they still let me in

4 yrs ago I had a not so pleasurable experience there. But I am happy to say that my subsequent visits have been excellent. Attentive & knowledgeable store helpers, great variety of products and competitive prices. They have a grooming service, but I've never used it.

It’s a little overpriced compared to PetSmart. The selection wasn’t great either, but it’s a small store. I did find what I wanted, but only after the cashier finally asked if I needed help. When I explained that I was looking for something to trim my dogs nails, she was confused as if she didn’t understand. She finally pointed me in the right direction, but then another customer came in and asked her help locating an item and she was yet again confused (does this employee not own pets, or what? !). I’ll probably stick to PetSmart going forward. I was just in a time crunch and couldn’t make it to Prescott or Sedona.

Helpful staff members answered questions and guided me to new food for specific health concerns. 2 staff members took the time and were focused 100% on my pets nutrition and health needs. Both my dogs shopped with me and love shopping there. Staff gave great service with several recomended options and clear advice. My dogs love the food they recommended. There is a buy 10 bags get 1 free program. It is a pleasant shopping experience. I also use groomer for nail trims.she is awesome!
