Pho Mai, Chandler AZ

I've been coming here for years. It's changed names a couple times - and I didn't like the minimal menu from the last version. Recently, they expanded the menu. My last couple visits were very good. I had the Bánh Xèo which was great!

Did we come on the wrong day or did we eat at a different place than everyone else did? We had to introduce ourselves to get seated, and the service was lackluster. The pho broth tasted like water, no flavor, and the chicken was bland with an off-putting texture and taste, like they sliced almost-bad meat straight into the broth. The best parts of the meal were the fresh lime and chili paste, and the peach mint as we left. Probably the worst pho I’ve had in the area - definitely not worth the price. If there are other menu items worth eating, I will never know because we won’t be back.

Disappointing food, poor service, ambiance wasn't great. With all the good pho places around, I would go elsewhere. I don’t really care about ambiance and service is a secondary issue but the food is important to me and this pho has no flavor. It tasted like they didn’t add the star anise, cinnamon, and other ingredients. It was just broth. Bummer.

When I moved here from Seattle (which has an amazing Asian food scene), I was on the hunt for the best pho in the east valley. I have tried over 10 pho spots in the area and Pho Mai has the best brisket pho I have had! The broth is so flavorful and the brisket is very tender and delicious! The service is also extremely friendly and fast. We have ordered take-out as well as eaten in the restaurant and the brisket pho is consistently excellent! We have tried the chicken pho too, which is not our favorite because the chicken is sometimes dry and chewy, but the brisket pho is a hit every time! One of our favorite restaurants in our area, you can’t beat their service, food, and prices. Keep up the great work!

Ordered on Doordash.have never put in a review for a place I've ordered, but this food was phenomenal, so I couldn't keep it to myself. I can only imagine what it's like in person! Fiancé said the orange chicken was the best he's ever had, and the seafood pho was divine.cannot wait to order again!

It was amazing I got the sea food pho and Thai tea whith Boba most amazing! My mouth bursted whith savory broth with every bite of the soft tender noodles and the sea food did nothing but complament every bite the add ons are perfect for the dish worth every pennie the bowl was Huge! Service was really nice the Man recommended the Boba tea and gained my instant respect with the first sip if you don't eat out mutch or are skeptical at trying new things this will be sure to amaze

Got the orange chicken and fried rice Cost me $18, check out the portion size with my hand Everything taste like fish And I hate fish it was disgusting, The fried rice looked Like They got it from the frozen food aisle at the grocery store very bland

Place looked dated, the furniture/couch was quite old. But the food and the price was just excellent! I had a special Pho and my husband had a rib Pho. The broth was just simply the best! Can’t complain about the food quality and quantity:)

Had another great meal at Pho Mai 2 days ago. Typically not into writing reviews, but after our second time having the Pho soup here, I had to rave about it. Broth was super clear and delicious. Had the Oxtail Pho with Tendons ad on, as well as the Rib Pho and both were absolutely delicious! The Oxtail portion was slightly smaller than our first visit, but we're hoping that was a fluke. Taste more than me up for it! Service was prompt, friendly and very attentive! Atmosphere could improve a bit, as the shades let in a lot of sunlight in, which at times can be blinding. Other than that, one of my top Pho spots in the Valley!

The quality of food they serve have been consistently good. I like the oxtail pho and the price is still reasonable.

I tried this food last week with my family. It was excellent. I would do it again despite the price.

The sliced beef pho here is my go-to. The price is very generous at $10.99 as of the time of writing and it's quite filling! You can see a lot of oil on the surface of the broth, personally not sure if that's a good or bad thing. They claim their broth is boiled in beef bones, so I imagine there's some added benefits there. Definitely tastes good. Expect some "blood" from the meat in your broth.

We found a hair in our food. The server didn’t even apologize, and still charged us for the dish! We won’t be back

Amazing place! I asked for extra limes and they said yes at no extra charge. Favorite Pho place in AZ, their beef pho is out of this world!

Since I moved to AZ from WA, it’s been hard to find good Pho. But Pho Mai is the best I’ve ever had! So tasty and fresh

Delicious pho, do not order the Thai tea with boba though, it wasn't worth the extra cost and the texture was very gelatin-like
