Very upsetting to pay $37 dollars and see flamingos and a Hippo because it was so hot even the animals were hiding. At least, because I know you can’t control the weather, offer discounted ticket prices when you know it’s to hot for the animals to be seen. Not to mention only 2 places for drink and food were open. 4 1/2 miles walking in 100 degree weather for a couple animals is ridiculous. And splash pad wasn’t even on! Will never go back!

Truly such a great night out. We knew the songs played and the musicians were amazing. Perfect for a date night. Highly recommended!

We recently visited and were very disappointed. We felt like we didn't see many animals. We talked to other families at the resort we stayed at and they too shared their disappointment. For how much we spent on tickets, it definitely wasn't worth it.

I gave it 1 star because all the people that worked there were awesome and friendly.but seeing those big animals or lots of animals in small pens was heartbreaking.probably won't be going back.but I'm glad I went.once

We were visiting in the area and thought we would visit before our flight. Definitely disappointed in the lack of animals that were there. Either a sign said they weren't on site yet, sick or on loan to another facility. We did arrive just over an hour before they closed, which were made aware of but still paid full price ($40.00) It seemed the animals that were there were brought in possibly for feeding much earlier than 4pm so hardly any to see. Definitely not worth the price. We had visited Bearzonia in Williams while visiting and hands down I would go there again. Much better facility and animals to see.

Several exhibits were closed for construction and there were many animals we couldn't see. There were also empty enclosures that weren't under construction (or didn't appear to be). Someone did have a sense of humor and put a stuffed animal in this empty enclosure.

Even though it closed at 1, I got to see few animals that wanted to be seen. But I had fun watching the animals that I did get to see.

Ticket prices are too high. Most of the zoo is under construction, so a lot of empty cages. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT THIS TIME. Hopefully it will improve in the future.

We have been members of the Phoenix Zoo for many years now. Each time we go always a pleasant experience! The Zoo staff is always friendly and helpful! The Zoo is kept clean and can tell the animals are well cared for. Zoo lights are a part of our family tradition each year at Christmas. We are grateful for years of memories with the Phoenix Zoo! Highly Recommend!

My recent trip to the Phoenix Zoo was a pure delight. The impeccable organization and cleanliness made it a welcoming experience. The zoo's commitment to naturalistic habitats for its animals was evident, creating an environment that closely resembled their native homes. The zoo's dedication to conservation and education shone through informative displays and presentations. Seeing their involvement in breeding programs for endangered species and their efforts to reduce environmental impact was heartwarming. I left the zoo with a profound sense of wonder and a renewed commitment to wildlife conservation. A must-visit!

Great place to take the children. They can explore, learn and play with friends. The tree house and splash pads are an excellent addition. Being a member is highly recommended. So many perks

We attended a evening concert at the Phoenix zoo. It was magical and the musicians were superb!
