Food delicious, needs more people for lunch time, the owner is nice and might be your waiter but it seems he is usually upset,

Nice american impression of an italian restaurant. Food was great and very large in quantity, we could not finish what we ordered

We had a birthday celebration we were given our own private table when we ordered the food appetizers came in fast and our waiter was great made our experience very pleasant we had the general mgr came to greet us all abd had an awesome experience the food was fantastic.

We just returned from Italy. I was missing it so I went twice to Gavi. Once for lunch and a few days later for dinner. Just like being in Italy. From a Aperol Spritz to pizza and osso bucco all authentic and delicious

This time they outdid themselves. The attention to detail was awesome and they offered a quiet table outside on the patio with ample room as well as a nice view. Our service was outstanding. Our server was Peter and he went above and beyond. I’m very pleased and grateful for the commitment to our special needs. This is customer service at its finest and we will return again and again! Thank you for a memorable and special evening. I am more than grateful.

Gavi is a class act. Besides all the deliciously prepared dishes. I can tell you they don't skimp on quantity or quality. At a time when fast food burgers range from $8-$12. To get superb restaurant food that can feed my entire family for a small fraction more than a stale burger. It's refreshing to have the option. Thanks to all the staff for the great food and memories.

I am not a local to this area in Tucson, but came upon Piazza Gavi for elevated Italian fare. My sister and I dined on Friday, September 15th. Our server Manny, was outstanding. He was attentive to every one of his tables without skipping a beat. He is TOP NOTCH. Thank you, Manny!

The food was fabulous. Everything we ordered was enough to share. Our waiter Justin was so knowledgeable and helped us decide on a few items. His suggestions were spot on! We plan to come back!

I went here for my parent’s 17th anniversary and the atmosphere was good. The only problem we had was our server. We couldn’t find him for a good half an hour just to get drinks. By the time we found him we were done eating and wanted our check. The owner gave us free dulce de leche cookies and they were so yummy!

Update Sept 2023. We were back with out of town guests. We all loved it. My dish had a cream sauce, that is brighter than Alfredo. The appetizer was garlic shrimp. Chicken piccata. Everything was outstanding. We were lucky enough to be served by Manny again. Professional but friendly. The owner stopped by and was lovely. Feb 2023. Both of us said it was the best we have had. I loved my pasta. Shrimp were cooked to perfection. Our waiter Manny was a perfect mix of professional, knowledgeable of food and light.

As a regular that likes their food it's very disappointing to be told kitchen is closed 30 minutes before closing time on a Friday. If your restaurant is open until 9pm your kitchen should be open until then, especially on a Friday. Have always tipped well.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Tucson. The quality is always high. Service is almost always great, and servers are friendly. Prices are good, and we always leave with left overs.

Customer service was 10/10 ️ Our waiter gave excellent recommendations, very attentive without being intrusive and wrapped the to go packages with saran wrap so no spillage and without being asked, tucked a container of parmesan cheese!
On his suggestion, I had the Chicken Fromaggio. Amazing! Huge portion so had it for lunch the next day! Friends had a different ravioli special. The Butternut Squash Ravioli was incredible!

Found this place doing uber eats. Smelled amazing so my wife and I tried their Greek pizza and the tiramisu. Both were amazing. Will absolutely come back.
