Last minute repair, great service, reasonable price. Trevor Pierce is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful positive attitude. Very busy place and he managed to squeeze me in. I’ll be back for regular maintenance. Great small town, hands on small business. High highly recommend Pierce Automotive on Sandario Rd. Thank you Trevor!

We had such a positive experience at this shop- we rolled in with our vehicle smoking and they took the time out of their day to help us, give us valuable advice and take a look at everything for us. Nick was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. We are so thankful for his help to help keep us rolling on the road.

Very helpful. I rolled in with my vehicle after another shop had done a poor repair. Nick was extremely helpful, looked over what the last shop had done wrong and explained to me what needed to be done. Everyone at this shop was very knowledgeable and professional.

Vacation-Saving Service!

Husband’s flight out of Tucson was canceled. The only option to connect him with family on their RV adventure was a flight out of Phoenix. Ugh! Didn’t want to make that drive but we did.

Car starts rattling on I-10. Hubby finds Pierce Auto and we pull over before I have a full blown panic attack. No way are we going that far with that noise!

The shop seemed fully booked, but the nice guys at Pierce jacked up my Honda Fit, reattached the splash guard and had us back on the road to the airport in no time. No rattle, no stress!

7/5 stars. Would go back again and definitely will to drop off donuts

Stopped here when our front plastic bottom cover came loose on the way to Phoenix and they zip tied it for us for free. Super nice and helpful saved us a lot of time.

On Sunday, June 27th 2021, I was traveling to Tucson to do a tow job. As I was approaching the Marana Road exit, my battery light had come on. At the end of the exit ramp, my lights dimmed and turn signal didn't function as normal. At this time I knew my alternator took a dump. I knew of a repair shop a quarter mile down the road as I have delivered a few cars there in the past, so I limped my tow truck there. I got extremely lucky, because there was an employee there doing some after hours work, so I was able to leave my keys and write down what needed to be done on my truck. I listed to replace the alternator as well as give me a quote for my fan clutch as I knew it needed to be replaced sooner than later.

The next afternoon (Mon June 28th) I received a call from the shop stating that my alternator was bad (to which I already knew). I asked what the cost was gonna be to replace the fan clutch and the alternator and I was given a quote of $1,135. I told him no problem, to let's get it done. I didn't hear anything back until today (Wed June 30th) saying that my truck was finished. Said great, what's the final talley? He said my bill was over $1,600. Ummmm, I was quoted $1,135. Where's this extra $500 coming from? The response I got back was they also had to replace my fan assembly which was $200 + labor (they never got my authorization nor approval to do this job), I was being charged a diag fee for a repair I already knew what the issue was. I said to replace alternator. Didn't need it tested. Already knew it was bad lol. I was charged a fee for battery cables and charging (also which were never authorized nor approved by me)

I guess my biggest issue and complaint is people need to be aware when they take their vehicles into a shop for repairs. Be vigilant on what they are replacing or repairing. My honest opinion is that the shop should of ate the costs of doing the repairs on unauthorized services. At least call the customer to give an update on costs. The slap in the face won't hurt as bad. The lovely lady in the office did work with me and took some fees off the invoice.

I am giving a 3 star because of their workmanship and they was able to get my truck back to be in 2 days, but the fact that extra repairs were made without getting my approval first is a big no no for me.

We ran over a piece of metal and had air leaking out of the tire. Luckily, we were within a few miles of here, so we pulled in and they immediately got to work. They put a patch on the tire and it only cost us $12! They got us back on the road within about 30 minutes.

My wife and I are a dual military couple traveling from Washington State to El Paso. After five days of traveling, something happened with my transmission and fluid and white smoke started coming out of my 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. Due to issues with the tow company, Pierce Automotive was very accommodating and stayed open to receive my vehicle. My vehicle was diagnosed and repaired the next day. This repair was essential since the Trailblazer is towing a vehicle transporter and my wife’s vehicle doesn’t have a hitch. They were very professional and kept us informed throughout the diagnostic and repair process, something other repair shops fail to do. The cost to repair my vehicle was beyond reasonable. I wish I could take them with me to El Paso! Thanks again for the amazing service guys! My wife and I greatly appreciate it.

They took my son's 2005 Honda Civic that was on its last legs and repaired it to make it like brand new. He drove the car from Tucson Arizona to the Bay area California and back without a problem. Definitely exceeded my expectations at a fair price.

I broke down on a Saturday evening. I had no choice but to park in their lot overnight, due to the fact that I live in my RV. The mechanic came Sunday morning, and was very kind to me. Even offered me water! Monday morning, they got right on the repair. They had me back on the road by noon! Not only would I use this gentleman again. I will probably go out of my way in my travels to have them look at my rig! THANK YOU-THANK YOU! Christine Douglas

BEWARE: I learned after having some stuff taken out of my car that Pearce does not lock the cars they leave sitting out front. If you go here don't leave anything in your car.

We took our car into Pearce to have the air conditioning compressor replaced as it needed to be replaced for a while. They did find a deal and bought a compressor from a Napa sale which they sold to us at cost. The compressor was replaced and we drove away happy to have our car back.

Unfortunately, this didn't last long. We could tell very quickly that it just wasn't working as well as it had before. We took the car back to have them check it. They checked it and told us it was working to industry standards and gave it back to us. We knew that something was off but didn't know what to do about it.

Soon after getting the car home, we started it up to go and as we were leaving something in the engine blew white gas out from under the hood. We checked and found that one of the air conditioning hoses had split open and blew refrigerant and oil all over the engine.

We expected that Pearce would have tested the air conditioning system and found the bad hose before it blew. We took the car back to them again and expected a quick easy hose change. I was also told by Mike that the hose replacement would be free IF it was covered by the warranty. Although he must have known when he said it that it wasn't a part they replaced with the compressor so it would not be under warranty.

After dropping the car off with them they later informed us that they couldn't find a replacement part anywhere. We waited two weeks for them to get the new part. Once they did, finally, they replaced it and charged us another $340 which was a huge surprise to us.

After taking my car the Pearce off and on for many years I was very disappointed with the service we received. Two weeks of calling and asking them when we would get the part and then never receiving any phone calls back from them left us always wondering what was going on. I never received a single phone call from them. Then when we picked up the car we found that our stuff had been stolen out of the back. Mike told me directly that they don't lock the cars sitting out front.

We basically lost over $600 and 2 weeks without the car choosing this service.

Nice people, but don't' expect to have your car done in a fast and timely fashion, my car sat down there for 7 weeks, never was fixed, had to tow it to another shop

Brought my vehicle in to Pierce due to a check engine light and rough idling. They did an engine start up and quick look at the the check engine codes and said my entire timing system was shot and they needed tear my engine apart to replace major components like the cam gears. They said parts and labor was going to cost about $3,500! I declined the repair and was charged $75 for the diagnosis. Decided to get a second opinion, took it to another mechanic who found a loose grounding wiring, he fixed that (for free! Didn't even charge a diagnosis fee) and then told me to also change my oil, as my engine's timing components can be very sensitive to dirty oil even if it's only a thousand miles or so over-due. So i changed the oil myself and what do you know, 15,000 miles later and the engine has been running smooth as butter and the check engine codes never returned. Now I'm NOT saying that pierce automotive was intentionally being malicious and trying fleece me (other reviewers on here seem to have good experiences) but I do feel like they didn't do a thorough job diagnosing the problem, and i learned it's always pays to get a second opinion (in my case it saved me about $3,470 in needless repairs)
