Pillar at Taviano / Lazo Apartments

This place is AMAZING! Recently I took a tour with my roommate and we were blown away with how clean and beautiful the entire property was. I’ve been nervous touring places because of COVID 19 but the entire staff had their act together. I felt safe the entire time. The day before I toured I went to another complex who was also doing self-guided tours and they left us to defend for ourselfs (zero explanation on how to get into the complex) That was NOT the case with Pillar. Clear instructions for the entire process and it made the process safe and easy. And don’t even let me get started on Dreana. She was AMAZING! So sweet. So thoughtful. Soooo incredibly patient because I had a million questions and she answered them all with a smile. She should teach a course on customer service training because she IS the definition of customer service. I’m so incredibly thankful and blessed to be moving into the complex in a few weeks. I’m so excited to call Pillar at Taviano my new home. Thank you all for just being soooo amazing and caring!

This is my 2nd time living at this location. Only left because I had moved in with my BF at the time. Then when I needed a place to come back to after the break-up, I came here. Great office and maintainence staff. Always super quick to respond. I've lived in 3 other Pillar properties because I moved a lot, but this one by far is my favorite. Great place to live.

Great place to live, great staff, maintenance is on top of everything. It's apartment living so there's some down sides but for most part it's great here.

I spoke with a gentleman on the phone today and told him i would be in to see the apartment after work. He said as long as its before 5: 30. We get there at 5 and just standing around. Watching a woman talk on the phone. No one came out to talk to us for 15 mins. We see the guy walking back to the office with two ladies whom i assume he was showing the premises to. Then a different lady comes out and asks if she could help and I told her what the guy said so she offers us water and walk away. Still no one talks to us about After 22 mins of standing around we left. I just felt like we were unimportant.

We have been living here for almost two months now. I will update this review after our lease is up but I'm 100% certain it will not change.
Due to my husband's job transfer from Colorado, we had to sign the lease for the apartment sight unseen other than Internet pictures, which is a tad scary to say the least. Oliver in the office was great! We had so many questions during the signing-up process but he was always professional, courteous, and answered our random questions right away.
We were deciding between this and another highly-rated community in Chandler and made our decision based on the customer-service manner of the leasing agents we spoke with. Taviano answered our query email the very next business day and when we spoke on the phone with Oliver, he was far more friendly and personable than the other place.

No problems upon arrival. The pictures online actually match the place in real life yay! We had a couple of minor maintenance issues at move in (dryer noise, leaky faucet) but we emailed the office at night with the request and maintenance showed up promptly the next morning to fix the issues. In all the apartment communities we have lived in, we've never had response time that quick.

The grounds and amenities are absolutely beautiful and well-kept. The neighbors are courteous of others. We haven't had a chance to use the clubhouse itself yet but from what we saw when taking the mail in, it is also beautiful, well-kept, and luxurious.
We really love our porch; it's set up so you can sit outside and enjoy the palm trees but is still shaded during much of the day and is SPACIOUS.

Everyone we have worked with (office and maintenance) is professional, prompt, and pleasant to work with. Oliver, Dreana, Lisa, and Galen have been amazing with all of our numerous questions.

Location is perfect. It is located right off the way so we can get to pretty much anywhere within about 10 min.or so, yet we don't hear highway noise when outside.

As far as downsides go, as others have said in their reviews, yes, the walls are thin. But 1) it IS an apartment community, not a home, so that's normal. 2) Yes, I can hear my neighbors conversations but I think that's just a lifestyle thing. I can only hear them when I am studying or reading and there is no noise inside my own apartment. When my husband has the TV or radio on or the A/C is running, we can't really our neighbors much at all.
So, pretty normal for an apartment.

All in all, we are happy with our decision and love living here.

This place was a great place. All the amenities and more.
They have treats though out the month. It was a shame I had to leave out of state.and the place I called home. I really wish I hadn't left.

Place looks good but its very pricey plus even in the covid-19 situation they will stick to the rules of 60 days notice etc.will never recommend anyone here.

Pillar at Taviano is an exceptional property. If you're working in the Chandler area I would highly recommend looking here first. The staff is great as well, especially Sara who was fantastic helping me with excellent customer service.

I just moved here and it’s the second Pillar community I’ve lived in. I only left the first Pillar rental because the property was sold and new management took over. The place went downhill.fast. I’m very happy here at Taviano! Pillar communities are above and beyond the others as I’ve found out.

My wife and I lived at Taviano for over 4 years from 2014 to 2018. Our first visit to the complex we were greeted by friendly staff and they gave us a tour. All the amenities, pools, clubhouse, fitness center, were all well maintained as well as the grounds. We signed our lease and moved in. The time there the office staff has came and went but each person were wonderful. They would know you by name and also apartment number. We felt like more than just a tenant. More than just a rent check to them.

The maintenance staff was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and friendly and neber got a bad feeling if they ever had to enter our apartment to fix something that needed fixing or upgraded which was not a lot in 4 years.

I did not see or hear about any crime, and if you had a loud neighbor they were quick to remedy the situation. Having courtesy patrol to call to make contact with said loud neighbor kept us ananoymous plus it gave the office a credible witness as to what the issue was.

The only reason why we left is because we bought a house. Pillar has their own realtor that helps you in the process of getting out of the apartment and into a house. We met with her, she explained the process, and we told her what we were interested in. The next week we decided on a house and began the process of buying. Process was painless to us first time buyers.

Everything was splendid in getting in, being in, and getting out to buy a house.

Of all the apartments we lived in before managed by Alliance and Mark Taylor, Pillar is simply above all the rest.

Staff is great, complex is clean. I’ve been living here for almost a year. The only issues that I have is the walls are almost paper thin like a cheap motel. You can hear EVERYTHING the people upstairs are doing. Don’t waste your time here.

My husband and I have been here a few months and I’m very frustrated and angry with how things work at taviano. We live on the second floor and keep getting complaints about us making “noise” when we received the first complaint I made sure to keep as quiet in my own apartment as possible and then still a complaint. I’m afraid to live in my own apartment and am so close to a mental breakdown of trying my hardest to be quiet. Don’t go here if you want to feel insecure in your own apartment.

THIS IS GREATEST PLACE TO LIVE. I LOVE IT. ESPECIALLY OFFICE PEOPLE ARE GREAT! DREANA AND SARA AND LISA AND CALI ARE WONDERFUL AND SO HELPFUL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A NICE PLACE TO LIVE!

Service is great they really take care, rent is reasonable.but apprtments are poorly designed. Neighborhood is quite most amenities are nearby. Only problem is the design of apprtments.

My family loved living here! Apartment living has its pros and cons but Taviano allowed us to feel comfortable and safe in a beautiful community! It is well kept and the amenities are well decorated and designed for the modern family! The staff is exceptional and they want you to have the best experience whether you’re a guest or tenant. What we love the most is how often the communicate about changes in the community and events. We were always in the loop. Whether you are a single person or a full family this community has everything to offer! My family is sad to leave but happy to know Taviano was part of our journey!

I have never had so many problems at one place before. First you feel very unsafe with the fact that there is cops in the community every single night because of illegal activity. They leave notes on my door to warn me about burglaries in out neighborhood. On top of that the office manager thought she should share that I’m a single mother living by myself with my son to other residence. There is many more issues but I would be here for days writing a novel. All I can say is RUN AWAY! This place is horrible. I dream of the day my lease is up and that no way to live; how can you call that a home. Don’t make the mistake I did and fall for their fake politeness when trying to get you to rent. Once you sign all that changes. RUN FAST!

Absolutely the worst management and the staff is very nosey as in constantly having maintenance watch over you!

Great place to live office staff is wonderful and very helpful. Maintenance is very timely and professionally always willing to go the extra mile to fix things. The community is very clean and safe. Located near lots of stores and easy access to the freeway.

Speed bumbs destroy your car if you don't literally stop at all of them to go over. Have to drive through the entire complex just to get to the left side because of incredibly poor layout

Lived at Pillar for over a year. Great area and close to everything. Hiding fees are ridiculous. Moving out I left my Apartment spot less. Hired a clean person to leave my apartment in Great conditions. I was still billed after leaving $230 dollars. For "carpet cleaning" when I lived alone no pets. This is not right! 1,200 Deposits and still high Carpet Charges? Money Making is what I call this.
