It is a medium sized park that has been receiving upgrades. Parking is decent. Restrooms and drinking fountains good.
Nice small splash pad that is not just baking in the heat all day. The sand playground is a medium sized and well thought out.
There are signs for two different age groups of children. Good sun screen. One of many plusses is no chance of a child running out to the road due to distance. Also on different levels which is some help with wind and heat.
Great local park! Excellent basketball courts, playground for older and kids. It's also one of the few parks still left with splash pad.
My choice of outdoor basketball court to shoot hoops, and it's a very nicely maintained park with a playground, a beach valley ball court and bathrooms.
