Always have fun here with the family.split the Big Cowboy with the hubby, holiday train ride, chocolate shop (LOVE the sugar free options). We usually catch the gun show, but timing was off tonight for us. Food is consistent and the service is good.

Went to eat there on a date night, the food was great but they sat us next to a large family whose child and father were so so noisy everyone around was just looking at them something awful. I asked if we could please be moved cuz they were so close to us and the hostess said if I wanted to be moved I would have to go back to the lobby and re-wait for a table

It's been 20+ years since I enjoyed a great meal from here, and boy did they hold true to their skills. Great food, wonderful staff. Had a blast. Visiting from Montana.

Don’t do it. I don’t care what the reviews say.service was fine but the food was NOT GOOD (including the steak). There are far better restaurants in Tucson

Wow what do I begin with such bad service from Andrea the door girl walks us in makes a mistake walks back out then tells me oh you have to get in the list which is fine but when she tells me you’re on list I took care of it so then we sit there for 30-45 waiting and nothing so I go up there and come to find out we were not on the list so here we are again waiting she realizes she made another mistake and walks away doesn’t not even apologize to me and my family then the lady tells my wife we just spoke to some one in your party which was a lie they didn’t speak to my kids or me no one apologized to us it’s crazy never been treated that way here and we are regulars the manager didn’t even come talk to us it was what ever they didn’t care! So make sure they don’t do this to you!

They have the best steaks in Tucson. We went late in the evening. I guess that the cook was in a hurry to clean up and leave for the night cause we asked for a med well done steak and a med rare. We got the med well that wasn't cooked it was totally red in the middle. The med rare was also too rare. When we were leaving a group of people came in. You should go in around 6pm that's when the cook isn't in a hurry. Best steaks though. I do recommend it very highly.

Always great a steak dinner here! All the years, over 20, I've been going here I've never had a bad meal. Plus there's a great little western town to walk around and enjoy.

The good: the steak was juicy and large.

The sangria tasted like fruit punch. We ordered the pitcher which was full of ice. Two of us drank the pitcher and there was just a tiny bit of alcohol.

The baked beans tasted like they came for a can. Salad was ok.

Service was ok but spotty. Ambiance is nice and the ties on the ceiling give it a family and homely vibe.

Overall a three star experience.

I asked for my steak medium it came well done sent the state back brought me another one the waiter took my fork on the other plate. So I sat there at least 10 or 15 minutes without a fork then he finally came by and ask how everything was, and I said well it might have been okay if I had a fork he said oh I guess I took it on your other plate so he said let me get you another one and I said no just bring you to go box I'm out of here. Call me the food has really gone down I've been going to Pinnacle peak since 1976. All they think about is the almighty buck

A steakhouse I first visited over 40 years ago. Building has changed but food still very good. Good steaks and great ribs. Sides are nice. Great service.

Good food and service. It was to noisy. I would not go there to catch up with my friends, because I would not know what they said.

Definitely over-priced. $30 for a steak with cheap pinto beans and a salad? Another $3 for a baked potato? (Included at most other steak houses). The ribs were the worst I have ever had. They were tough to chew and fatty. They had the texture of beef jerky. We can buy a rack of pre-made baby back bbq ribs here in the grocery store for $4 and they literally fall off the bone. The bread was just sliced bread. Nothing special.

I know it's a tourist trap, but it's low quality food. Makes me wish Hidden Valley Inn was still open. They were touristy but at least the food was delicious.

Very disappointed! I have been dining there for close to 50 years! This was first time I was unhappy! Service was awful! Had to ask twice for napkins, and the waiter just dropped off a stack with the top ones dirty! Food was awful! There were four of us and the two having steaks commented that the quality was not the same as the years past, I had the shredded beef which was greasy and salty. The beans wete cold and the bread was very cheap white bread! I am very bitter that I paid $140.00 (with tip) for awful food and one of the worst waiters! Perfect example of a previously outstanding restaurant living off a past stellar reputation!

I grew up in Tucson (4th generation native) and this is my favorite restaurant. Memories (my grandfather got his tie cut off (BEFORE THE FIRE) when nobody knew that was a thing), good food, amazing atmosphere and just Tucson! My latest experience. We sat for about 15 minutes after being seated on a Sunday night at 7: 45 when there was no wait and no one else around. My one-year-old gazed with wide eyes at the atmosphere as I ordered the pit beef. It is my all-time comfort Peak meal. I received a bowl full of barbecue sauce with shreds of "pit beef" with the normally accompanying tortillas and beans. Ugh! Even if you can't give me a decent meal of pit beef, why, why, why, would you drown me in bbq sauce and then insult me with tortillas to wash it down with! They don't go together, EVER!

Greatest place to eat with family, on a date, and service fast and courteous. Love the tie for work gal or guy- cut it up.
