I have to be honest this place has the worst customer service I have had in a long time. I used to be an area manager for AT&T and ran 15 states and the number one thing I stressed to my employees was customer service. Saturday and today (Monday) I didn’t receive any of it.
Both days I walked into the office and waited for someone to say hello or how can I help you but instead each day I waited and waited and waited. Finally I said can I get the product. Only one person said yeah man how many do you need. The first time I said 4 and she looked at me and then looked at one of her co- works and said he only wants four and started to laugh. I wasn’t really sure what was funny but I just stood there waiting for her to tell me the total. Then she handed me the receipt and went back to making fun of the customers with the other two guys. I asked her where do I go and what do I need to do to get my products. Finally she told me to see the forklift driver. I got outside and located the forklift driver and he was just sitting in the forklift on his phone. I went up to him and said the product I paid for and the funniest thing happened. He drove the forklift underneath the garbage bin and took it to dump it and then came back and told me to drive around and finally got my product.
Today was just the same but different events. It honestly was horrible customer service. I was told this is the place to go. I am fairly new to Gilbert but if that is the place to go I would hate to see what the other places are like. I am really sorry for the bad review and honestly I don’t even waste my time doing reviews unless it is a good review but this place manager or owner needs to know what their employees are doing to their customers.

Make one customer happy and gain 5, piss one off and lose 10 customers.

Great Prices, and very easy to work with. I have gotten pavers, bulk material delivery and picked up rock from the site. They even gave me a free "top off" when I didn't order enough on a delivery (I went and picked it up, but was nice they didn't charge me"

If it was possible to give no stars i would the manager has a serious problem attending to people that speak Spanish when asked who the manager was he tugged on his shirt and laughed he made my husband stand outside for more than 45 minutes to get his things and over charged him as a non contractor I still have the receipt this is the second time he have had the same problem with the same person at this location he lied about having a-b-c and sent us to the location on Guadalupe and Stapley this is a problem that needs to be fixed

Top notch customer service.

We purchased rock for our front yard and had them deliver it. No problems. Quick delivery. Great service. Great rocks.

Then a few years later I called in asking about pricing to buy some rocks for my daughters to paint for Christmas. Then let me take some for free! They were so kind and helpful. I was stunned.

We tend to always have bad experiences with pioneer, so I shouldn't be surprised we had another one. This time we ordered a 30×15 grass roll and they gave us 23 feet instead. It messed our whole job up because we had a deadline to achieve. We ended up being able to jerry rig it by cutting and repositioning and placing boulders on empty patches to make it work, but because of that, we spent a extra hours on the job. My husband called to get a refund and the girl said we had to come in to get it because there was no way to give a refund otherwise. He told me this and I knew it was untrue because we've had to get multiple refunds because of mess ups and they were done by just putting it back on the card. I called again and the manager said he would call me back. 8 hours later, I call back because I recieved no call back and am put on hold for almost 10 minutes before they took my name and number to have the manager Ivan call me back when he was available. He ended up calling me back after that and telling me he gave me a refund for the missing piece, but I asked for an inconvenience fee (that I've received before) because we spent way more time on the job because of their mess up. He said that they had grass loaded to bring to us, but my husband called around 4: 30 pm and we were in gold canyon in a gated community so vendors cannot come in after 5 pm, so that wouldn't have work for us. This whole thing was incredibly frustrating.

Ivan was very helpful in providing some great ideas and insight for my landscaping projects. Also, the gentleman running the loader was super careful to not damage or scratch my truck when dumping the load into the bed. Great place and highly recommended!

The manager of this business is useless, very rude, he does not know the process, he is not working alone, he is in the position, but he really cannot fix a problem. But Ivan works very hard. He is a very kind and respectful person. He works on large machines and in the office he is really good. Ivan is really the candidate to be the manager. (This guy I name James no good worker there’s not want to work)

I had such a pleasant experience. They were helpful and kind. I was able to find exactly what I needed! Thank you!

Pioneer Landscape has been my go to center for all my outdoor landscape needs. Customer service is always top notch.

I stopped in today and talked with Joey and Marco about a rock order. They were both extremely helpful and went above and beyond to point me in the right direction. Always appreciate great customer service!

We have used them in the past with no issues but this time we were very disappointed. We needed to fill in a hole in our backyard and called to see how much fill dirt we needed. Gave them the dimensions and they told us 32 tons. We expressed concern that it was too much but they calculated again and said it was correct. They called us on their way and delivered a truck load, then said another truck was coming. We waited over an hour. Tried to call numerous time with no answer to finally be told we did not need to wait for the second truck. We just finished and have almost half of the dirt left over. Called again and they said we should not have ordered that much (we ordered what they said to) but they cannot do anything about it. Poor customer service and not even apologetic at all when this is partly their mistake. We trusted them think they were the experts. We are out a good amount of money and now stuck trying to figure out what to do with all this dirt in our street and our house is going on the market tomorrow. We are building a new house and will not be ordering anything from them again. Definitely call around prior to making any purchases from them.

I made an unusual request to pick individual river rocks, as I have been unable to find any at retail stores that are rounder and flatter to paint. They let me take 18 individual rocks for free. Thanks Pioneer!

This place is AWESOME! The guys are all so super helpful and honest. They will make sure you get exactly what you're looking for and the best quantity for your project. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for landscape supplies!:) Thank you Higley Pioneer for all your amazing help with my outdoor firepit build!

Poor customer service! I waited 15 min. Before any one even asked how they could help me then when I finally got help I put my order for 4 tons of gravel & waited 45 more min. Out on yard for any one to help me.
The guy was too busy loading company trucks rather then help customers who I'm sure keep the company afloat.
Sales rep In side was bragging about how pioneer made a million dollars last Friday.
I dnt think I'll ever visit this place again

Not the best customer service here, wont recommend them and definitely wont do business with them again.

I went in yesterday to get some tile, and they weren’t sure if they could deliver it this weekend, because I had some work being done at my new house I just bought.

They called me back and said someone could put today between 1-5, unfortunately I work and that was not going to work out for me.

I went into the to the office talked with Jordan to see if there was any other date that they could come out. Jordan tried to work his magic and said, unfortunately they were booked out for deliveries until the following week. Pat the Store Manager overheard the conversation, step in and said, he would be willing to come to my house (you have to have an adult to sign for the delivery), and sign the delivery for me.

These guys are amazing. To go above and beyond for me, wow that’s all I can say.

I would highly recommend Pioneer Landscaping Centers and I will continue to do business with them.

10/10 super helpful and professional. The guys had me in and out in 15 minutes. Brought a small amount of rock with me and they identified it right away. Loaded the truck and I was gone.
