The visitor center looked very new and modern. The bathrooms were clean and the museum portion was informative. The gift shop was nice and had a large variety of items to choose from. The fort was fairly simple but still pretty cool to walk through. We also really enjoyed the mini hiking trail that went around behind the fort and provided some nice views of the Arizona Strip and surrounding area.

O. M. Gosh, what a wonderful place! There's a lot of history about the blending of the native Americans and settlers, which was really informative. You can also visit some of the old buildings and see some informative demonstrations. The highlight for me was the half-mile loop trail that wound over the ridge behind the fort. (It's shown on the visitor guide.)

Well worth a look! The museum has wonderful photos of Kaibab Paiute people through time. Only thing I didn't like was the over emphasis of the Mormons who moved in and dominated.

Recommend stopping here if in the area. Well preserved fort and lots of historical information. The half mile trail loop was scenic and some wildflowers in bloom.

Cool little spot off the highway if you’re a pass holder. NPS staff was very pleasant. Visitor center was dimly lit. If you do not have a parks pass cannot recommend paying to see it.

I had to take my kids here for their 100th anniversary, and we had a blast! I went as a kid, and we were able to learn so much about Pipe Spring and it's history. The rangers are the absolute best! If you want a friendly place, learn some cool geology, and love history, this is the place for you. It is not completely wheelchair friendly, but much can be accessed even in a wheelchair!

Very educational w/Rangers addressing all questions + giving information of Pipe Springs life & history. Be prepared for a narrative of prejudices enacted in the previous century.

We made a little stop on our drive from Kanab to St George. It was interesting. A bit of white washed history, but they did at least mention how the LDS killed thousands of indigenous people.

Quiet gem of western history. It's definitely worth the stop as you travel along the Airzona strip.

As always learned a lot about the area and the people when we go to a national monument. It is truly amazing how our history books from 30 and 40 years ago were wrong and they wrote only one sided. Sort of like what's going on today. People are saying history should not be in the history books

Every time I stop at a little park or monument in this country, I'm amazed at the story of America.

This is part of that story. It's probably not going to impress anyone on Insta or TikTok, but it's fascinating to see and worth stopping for if you have time.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Cool place to learn a little about the history of Utah and the Mormon settlers, and their intersections with Native Americans.

Pipe Spring National Monument, Kaibab Band of Paiute Indians Visitor Center, and Museum explain the human history of the area over time. Daily tours of Winsor Castle, summer "living history" demonstrations, an orchard and garden, and a half-mile trail offer a glimpse of American Indian and pioneer life in the Old West. This National Monument is a gem that is overshadowed by Zion, Bryce Canyon & The Grand Canyon. What a surprise and a joy to visit. We strongly suggest that you go to see!

Fascinating history. It was disheartening hearing how the Mormons took over the spring, although the guide pointed out "there were other springs. " I have a feeling this explanation would have been different from a non-morman. I'm glad we found this and stopped. It's worth visiting if you enjoy history.

Incredibly interesting story is told at this place. Also, there's a really great campground run by the Kaibob tribe just down the road, only $12 for tents. Don't know what the hook up rv sites cost.
